@Protean Pair By the by, I should probably ask instead of just wait, but should I go ahead and post Miyato in the characters tab, or should I wait for my gift, quirks and perks before I do so?
@geminironin it says in the CS template (above the code one) what to fill in under the tabs. So specifically it says we have no gear, and that perks and quirks will be determined by protean, based on the contents of the rest of your CS.
Riiiiiight, he was. His last post here was a week ago, though, has he been keeping contacts through PMs or something?
And on the subject, @ManyThings I think that rider would also be a better fit for Galileo, as you could have him use his flying machine. :P Regardless, I don't actually feel very strongly on the matter, I just figured I'd share my point of view. Admittedly I'd still feel a little weird about it, but like I also said, it's not my responsibility, so if the GM accepts, I'll roll along with it.
@Protean Pair I've taken the liberty of drafting up a CS, could you give me some pointers as to what I should improve/change/remove and such?
Appearance: Miyako is a moderately tall girl, standing at 5'10" tall in her new form, excluding the ears, that is. She has white hair with a soft-pink undertone to it, which reaches all the way down to her lower back. She's got a nice figure, like she'd always wished for when she was alive, but is now learning that a body like this is works quite differently from her old body. Her legs have shifted to be the tiniest bit rabbit-like, the change is not drastic enough to be visibly different, but it does put a hop in her step.
Personality: Miyako is a bubbly young woman, who tackles problems in the only way she knows; directly. She's by no means dumb, but her excitable nature often leads her to make reckless decisions and careless mistakes, only when adrenaline is racing through her veins she gets truly focused. Worse yet is that she's absolutely incorrigible. She is aware that she often causes others to worry, yet no matter how much others berate her for it, she wouldn't give up her antics for anything... Well there may be something, but if there is she hasn't found it yet.
Being ever-cheerful as she is, even as she's about to do some downright crazy things, Miyako has often served as a source of inspiration for those around her. Admittedly, she's occasionally crashed and burned immediately after declaring she'd pull of something crazy, so those who know her for extended periods of time often come to the conclusion that she's foolish, rather than inspiring. Despite the inevitable failures, Miyako actually quite often succeeded at whatever crazy stunt she'd said she'd pull, and she'd have felt more alive than ever while she did it.
There are times however, that even Miyako knows she can't or shouldn't do certain things, and though her parents were quite tolerant of her shenanigans, they still had expectations she needed to meet. As such, through repetition, arguments and many hours spent grounded, Miyako learned this the hard way.
Background: Miyako was born in Kyoto, in a shrine by the countryside. Naturally, she wasn't aware back when it happened, but according to her mother, the woman who maintained the shrine was also a maternity nurse and a friend of the family. Miyako was a small baby all things considered, but she was a healthy one, and she was born without any complications. Similarly, her early childhood was also without complications. She was taught how to walk and talk, went to kindergarten, made some friends and more often than not she came home with leaves in her hair and mud on her hands. Sometimes, she'd also have a bruise or a scrape from tying to run to fast and tripping. Elementary school too was much of the same, playing, learning and getting into trouble with her friends.
It was in high school that Miyako found something to channel her excess energy into; the track club. The competitive and physically intensive nature of the sport made it a great environment for her. As a result of her newfound interest, Miyako spent even less time on homework, causing her grades to plummet. It only took her to bomb a few tests for her parents to step in. Through semi-peaceful negotiations with her parents, being grounded and receiving a lot of help from her friends, Miyako managed to pull her grades back up and graduate high school with acceptable grades.
After graduation, Miyako enrolled at a small university on the outskirts of Osaka. Luckily, one of her friends also enrolled here, so she wasn't entirely on her own in terms of studying. Another development occured on the track front as well. The track club at the university offered a supplement that her high school hadn't offered; pole vaulting. While retaining everything she liked about track, it had the added bonus of sending a rush of adrenaline through her vein with every jump, causing her to quickly be smitten with the sport. While her life after that continued similarly to how it had in high school, being a mix of studying, training and making trouble, she was actually beginning to calm down as she grew more mature. She was still highly energetic, but with even more time going into sport and studies, she started doing fewer crazy stunts.
Eventually, during her second year in university, Miyako was caught by a cruel stroke of irony, an accident that would end her life prematurely. She lost her life not while trying to do something crazy, like her parents had told her would one day be the death of her, but due to a faulty piece of equipment. Nearing the end of a day of practice, Miyako made what would become her last jump, as her vaulting pole snapped clean in half underneath the repeated strain.
It wasn't gravity that killed her, though. The fall itself had merely left her dazed, with a concussion and some broken bones at worst. While unaware of it herself at first, Miyako had been impaled on the broken pole. After the fall, she struggled to her feet, only to be thwarted by a sharp pain in her gut and a sudden dizziness. Looking down at the source of the pain, Miyako saw a sight she didn't quite comprehend in her dazed state; her white shirt was covered in a red stain, just like the ground underneath her, and her vaulting pole seemed to stand on its own... A few moments passed and the red stains only seemed to slowly grow, until the realization hit her, and she threw up.
After that came panic. Her senses once more grew aware of the commotion around her, the noise was overwhelming, people shouting, some running, quick hushed words of panicked students mixed with words of others, trying to comfort these panicked students, unable to do anything else. Then, one voice pierced the din, they were speaking to her, but Miyako couldn't comprehend. Her heart was racing, beating so hard it nearly burst out of her chest, and no matter how she tried to focus on the voice, she just couldn't figure out what they were saying or even who it belonged to. She felt someone touch her and another sting of pain came. She wanted to scream, but her voice was stuck in her throat, she expected to be hit with another wave of dizziness, but was instead caught by a sudden blackness, and an almost comforting silence.
Miyako never woke up after that. Despite her teacher's best attempts to stabilize her until the paramedics arrived, despite the ambulence driver's haste and despite the doctors' best efforts, Miyako died that day. Even if she hadn't died of bloodloss, she would've died as a result of shock. Miyako was cremated within the week, and a ceremony followed two weeks after the event.

Appearance: In life, Miyako used to be a short girl with black hair and a petite figure. At her tallest she was 5'1", ever so slightly below the national average. While she often wished she were taller and more feminine-looking, her transformation still came as a shock. While admittedly she had grown, it had been quite a shock to find a pair of functional, sensitive rabbit ears atop her head.
Appearing ever so slightly different from a normal rabbit, and with the rabbit's bold claims about being a demon, the first thing that came to Miyako's mind was the rabbit from a movie she'd watched during english class. As this creature was technically unnamed however, Miyako took the liberty of giving the creature a name so she could more easily call on it... Despite the apparently demonic nature of the beast, Miyako was quickly sold on the name Pyonsuke, derived from pyonpyon, or hopping. He then failed to convince her to choose a different name, and let his loyalty be bought with carrots.
@ManyThings@vancexentan I must admit I feel kind of weird about Galileo being a lancer, I can actually see Tesla being an archer, because he shoots lightning. (shh, that's totally an accurate description.) This is to quite a few people the first thing to associated with him, too. Admittedly it's a little weak, but it's an explanation at the very least.
Regardless of what may or may not be in F/GO, give this man a portable tesla cannon and he's a valid archer.
I could see galileo being closest to being a caster, because he may not be magical, but he was a very smart man who was known for designing and or inventing some crazy and amazing things. So with an ability to realize his blueprints and put them into existence using his noble phantasm would be interesting to me. However caster is already taken.
As a stretch with the telescope I could also see him being an archer, but again, already taken. Then there's the thing of making him a berserker, but he'd very much rely on his mind, so the mad enhancement would really make him weaker, instead of stronger.
So, it's not at all my authority to say this, but I'd rather not see Galileo as lancer. Using F/GO is silly isn't a justification for us to be nonsensical, so if it's all the same to you, as a fellow player I'd recommend actually having someone with a spear or lance to be lancer. I'm quite sure there's some smart lancers too, if you want to play a smart character. Instead if you're going for an interesting and uncommon character instead of specifically a smart one, you could do something like Berserker Tarzan or something along those lines.
Just as soon as Jeanne had opened her mouth to start speaking, the door opened again, heralding the arrival of another master... As this master quickly introduced himself, Jeanne had to stop herself from staring. She couldn't possibly deny being suprised by his size, or rather, the lack of it. No matter how you looked at it, the new arrival was just a kid, would they really take him along to fight a war in a foreign country? It seemed... Wrong. A little barbaric, even. In the end it wasn't a decision she could make, though. If Joachim was invited to come along, and he had no objections himself, she had too little authority to voice an objection. Once she'd shaken off the initial surprise, Jeanne cleared her throat and (finally) formally introduced herself, even repeating her full name for the boy.
"Like Director Orson stated already, my full name is Jeanne-Marie Bernard, or Joan-Mary to those who have trouble with the French pronunciation. Though I feel Jeanne-Marie Edevane would be more appropriate in this particular case, since I'm here as the current head of the Edevane family." Jeanne briefly paused to tuck a stray lock of hair back behind her ear, and took the moment to observe the others' reactions, curious to see if they'd heard of her family. After a few seconds, she turned to Aksha, and answered his earlier question. "You're free to address me in any way you prefer, though my family generally calls me either Jeanne or Mary... I would like to insist on addressing me as Lady Edevane during important social gatherings, however."
