Those are fully upgraded scores? I like the system, it works and it's pretty simple, though it leaves out stats that aren't fully upgraded. It's no problem, just making a point, I'd rather have this guideline opposed to something we had to strictly follow, or just nothing at all.

For weaponry that's not fully upgraded, I can assume we'll find an accurate balance. Nothing's going to be super powerful right now, but say my damage for the Javelin Cutter was 6 / 10, it would be obviously better than something 1 / 10, but couldn't penetrate deep (oh yes).

I say we stick with this, and if we find any troubles with our next upgrades, we can fall back on this method and apply is accordingly when coming up with something to fill the gaps.
Yeah, sorry about that. I was working on a post then I got a little side tracked on other things I had to work on. A post is up now, and after tomorrow I hope to be more active.
Corporal Veikkaus had been maneuvering through a crowd of unease. The air felt different on the space station, but that was the least of his concerns. It felt like just yesterday the incident with his parents disappearance had occurred, but it wasn't. It was just a week ago that everything felt normal. Something had just hit him, like a sudden shock wave that rushed over Veikkaus and made him feel hot flashes. He stopped for a moment, leaning against the wall with a firm grasp going against the metallic surface of his Pulse Rifle. How did he get here? Oh right, he was laid off the investigation deemed "useless", now made to patrol the station and go back to the grayness of what it had been before.

For a moment all was silent, but then out of the blue the sector he was in began to rock. Violently it shook for a moment, yet the impact sounded so far off. His head shook and for a moment he cracked a smile under that thick helmet of his. A cool grin crept along his mouth, oddly enough, he didn't know why. Following this was a sound; muffled and inaudible.

"Hflmvvp"

A little louder..

"HELP!" Suddenly there was a fully fledged panic, and Veikkaus knew for sure something was wrong this time. Through the crowd he pushed his way into a door frame and burst out the other end to witness nothing more than a sea panic. A few stragglers left in the room were already out, and a fluid painted the walls in the particularly messy corner. Veikkaus squinted his eyes, getting a closer look to find it was blood, but more than that. It was a feast. A creature that could only be sent from the depths of hell was kneels over, a humanoid of such horrific bones that were reshaped, jutting out from the back at science fiction angles. Glass was heard smashing in the distance, various thumps that would shake the ground. This is where things really began to hear up. The Corporal reached down to his radio in attempts to reach a signal with any other Security Personnel in the general area. Through a series of beeps and buzzes, he began.

"This is Corporal Veikkaus, does anyone read? Over." There was a short pause, and that thing started to turn around.

Well that didn't god damn work.. He thought, and chuckled slightly. His humor always seemed to play in at the worst of times. This indescribable beast looked at him, and Veikkaus looked back. A blood stained humanoid figure with a scythe interjecting its flesh where an arm once used to be looked at him with a piercing stare that made his head pound. What..- Just within a seconds reaction, his primal instinct kicked in, and Veikkaus lifted his Triple-Barreled Pulse Rifle. Its plating reflected off the horror of the room, gleaming in what light there still was as a volley of rounds were spat out the end of the rifle. This was always a great feeling for Byron. His attachment for the gun was such an intense feeling it couldn't be described. A barrage of quickly speeding projectiles riddled the torso of the necromorph, causing it to stumble rather oddly and eventually fall backwards like most humans would do. But this thing was wasn't one of us at all. To his surprise, it got back up again as if it was totally unfazed. Now this Swiss cheese blood thirsty maniac charged him, and the short distance was too quick for Veikkaus to react when he was hit, and sent flying to the ground. His body rocked inside his suit, though did absorb more damage than what was dealt to him. Only seconds later he found himself almost impaled by the mutant itself. His predator stood above him and swung down harshly with the scythe hand as Veikkaus brought up his Pulse Rifle and managed to narrowly block the attack. Though he was in great fear, his instinct was fight and he twisted the necromorphs limb to the ground while simultaneously bringing up his boot into the center of its figure, knocking it back, and causing its flesh to tear, nearly where its limb fell off.

I have to get rid of that. A voice kept ringing in the back of his mind. That must be it. From the floor he took aim along the greatly damaged joint of the mutated being. A short burst ran past the handing flesh and ripped the scythe hand off the necromorph. Then another short burst, and the other limb fell. Veikkaus took out the legs of this mutation and finally reloaded to find a gruesome hodge-podge of guts smeared along the ground and walls. For a moment he stopped and looked around before bolting upwards into a standing position. At once he headed for the nearest door to his right, and ran through to the other side.

The hallway was torn, smashed, quite brutal and ripped apart. Something had just come through here, something was here. It had just occurred to Byron that there were others fighting in the distance. It was all over the Space Station, not just in one sector. All life as he knew it up here could be eliminated. He smiled again; the idea in theory was pretty kick ass, eerie as it was right now. Veikkaus attempted to use the radio again.

"Hello?" There was no time for formalities. To his dismay, something did come back in return, but it wasn't from the radio. Out drops another shifted creature from the vents, emitting a clicking sound after its skinny figure hits the ground. Its jaw hung low, revealing something of a dark void. It ejected bile from its gaping orifice, and Byron ducked to avoid it. From behind him he could hear the acidic fluid melting down the walls surface. He didn't have time for this. It seemed anything would have been better than this, but he charged for it standing in front of him. It came to swipe at him, an almost for sure decapitation method, but at the last second, Veikkaus tucked and rolled under the arm, to the other end of the short hallway where he broke through the next door into the shopping area and shut it quickly behind him. It was locked and only a matter of time would go by before it would begin melting through the door. For this reason, he turned around and took a step forward, shouldering the rifle as he did. He stopped for a moment to recollect his thoughts as a few questionable characters stood around him. Who would save us now?

This all really depends on the necromorph. While they all are some form of reanimated humans, some necromorph species do tend to share the same human resistance as we have, but others tend to be smaller (could be due to age), and therefore are weaker, or more frail; easier to handle if you would.

On the other hand.. try hitting a brute and see where you end up.

muh manhood
I am making the decision now.

@Sabotage If we go by a security room or Control Room, you can get your ROck Saw out of a locker. Otherwise, it's not directly on your person.
@Nallore In your designated spot if we pass you (When we make our initial decision of which way to go from our starting location, I will put you along the route. If we don't go to the room or something happens that gets our attention to you, well that's the only way we wouldn't find you. So it's a 75% chance of finding you), you can have your Plasma Saw on your person.

Fair enough, thanks.

You'd have to be pretty manly to do so. I think only a hand full of people in the world have that ability.
