Izzy is a petite woman- five-foot-four and around one hundred and twenty pounds. Wavy brown hair falls past her shoulders, framing her heart shaped face. Her light green/gray eyes are gentle and kind, usually always seen with a sparkle in them. She dresses pretty casually for the island, usually in a pair of short denim shorts and a button-up shirt. A small butterfly tattoo stretches across the inside of her left wrist. She is often seen in her favorite pair of flip-flops around guests, but prefers to be barefoot. Her skin is pale with just a hint of kiss from the sun.
Character Concept: You'll never find a more complicated girl. While she is gentle, kind, and loving, Izzy is also very headstrong and stubborn. She always has a kind word and a caring disposition to guests, but she is quick to anger and will fight for what she thinks is right. If you're on her good side, she is the best friend anybody could ever have. But if she doesn't like you? You'll know right away. And if her mouth doesn't say it, her face definitely will.
She enjoys running her bed and breakfast, something she has dreamed about for years. Izabel loves to cook breakfast for her guests in the cafe and always has a fresh pot of coffee ready to serve. During the in between times, she is an avid surfer and loves being out on the waves with her best friend. She loves the island life and doesn't know anything different as she has resided in her house her entire life. Character History: Having grown up on Isla Zafrio, Izzy really hasn't ventured much elsewhere. The island life is in her blood and will forever stay that way. She grew up as the only child of Bethany and Paul Perkins and never wanted for anything. After graduating from school, she decided to turn her family home into a bed and breakfast. She worked tirelessly as a surf instructor and a bartender in order to raise the funds to renovate her home. Now, the Whispering Waves has been popular since opening two years ago.
Her parents are still alive and well, but now live on Isla Ramiro and enjoying retirement. Izzy's father is well known as the former Chief of Trauma Services at the hospital on Isla Zafrio and was once the only surgeon on the island. Her mother had always been a simple housewife and mother, and taught Izzy everything she needed to know in regards to maintaining the house and cooking. They are hugely supportive of her career choice and will randomly pop in to visit.
She doesn't pay much attention to the politics of Azul, preferring to stay in her little bubble with her cat and best friend. As long as she is left alone to run her business as she pleases, everything is perfect in her little world.
Izzy is a second generation resident as both of her parents are immigrants to the island. She has never found a need to leave the island, nor does she see any in the future. The young woman has gotten to know a lot of travelers thank to her previous jobs and her current ownership, but her heart always remains with the locals. She is quite a staple around the island and knows everybody by name. And if someone is not that familiar with her, they definitely know her father.

There are no televisions in the house as the main attraction is the ocean itself.
