I wonder how I should address all the shade people have thrown at me during my time away. My mind says to let it go, but my heart says "with a chainsaw". Decisions.

A long time ago, in a bedroom far far away... my mommy met my daddy... and they did it.

I'm a mechanic by trade, though a work-related injury nearly a decade ago has really hampered my life since. I'm what some would call a folkish heathen, if matters of spirituality interest you... though I lean more toward tribal rather than folkish. I live in Cleveland, have a nice little apartment in a decent neighborhood, and have two cats.
As far as RP? I like things with anime elements to them, as well as modern and traditional fantasy. Not interested in romance or furry or anything like that. Miss me with that stuff.
I'm brash. I do not sugar coat things. I will call people out on things. I will likely frustrate you at some point. ... however, I am one hell of a loyal person, should I ever decide you are a friend.

I understand what you're trying to do, but that just encourages people to make slim, nimble, speedblitz characters as opposed to larger and more powerful bruisers. Generally, that ends up pissing off a lot of people and creates pissing contests as to who is faster and who reacted first. I planned on bringing a bigger guy in, so I'm sure you can understand where that could be an issue.
Another problem from that is... if I have a guy who is like 6'10" 325lbs if thick muscle... and someone who's like 5'8" 140lbs of speediness... My guy could likely tank repeated blows from them. That would piss THEM off as much as me not being able to hit would piss ME off, you know?

Seems interesting enough, IMP. Am I to assume this will be a system similar to the NMV Fighting system? Or is it going to be handled differently? Depending on that, I am more than happy to either participate, judge, or possibly both. Up to you if you're willing to have me.

To be fair, once could be construed as a misunderstanding. MORE than once starts looking like a habit/problem.
The whole... "fool me once, fool me twice" sort of thing. So I wouldn't call those "victories", persay. More like one party being fed up and walking away from the monopoly board that has Hotels made of legos all over it because someone cheats.
Now, not having been a part of it all, I can't really say who is right and wrong. However, as an impartial observer of the backlash, I'm inclined to lean toward LeeRoy's side despite his impatience. ASTA, your statement leans me further in that direction, as I abhor godmodding/powerplaying/autohitting/superdodging/etc.
So how about instead of perpetuating this inane conflict that has been settled, apparently... we instead get to work on more pertinent matters like posting where posts are needed, talking about Commander Shepard, and eating unhealthy snack foods.
