I play a lot of Pokémon Ultra Moon. If you have any requests for specific eggs/babies, let me know and I will see what I can do.

Lot of old folks I knew in the past are checking me out. I wonder what they are plotting. :3

I wonder how I should address all the shade people have thrown at me during my time away. My mind says to let it go, but my heart says "with a chainsaw". Decisions.

Bio

Oh, you want to know about me? Not sure why, but ok.

A long time ago, in a bedroom far far away... my mommy met my daddy... and they did it.

What? Not that far back? Oh. Ok.

I'm a mechanic by trade, though a work-related injury nearly a decade ago has really hampered my life since. I'm what some would call a folkish heathen, if matters of spirituality interest you... though I lean more toward tribal rather than folkish. I live in Cleveland, have a nice little apartment in a decent neighborhood, and have two cats.

As far as RP? I like things with anime elements to them, as well as modern and traditional fantasy. Not interested in romance or furry or anything like that. Miss me with that stuff.

I'm brash. I do not sugar coat things. I will call people out on things. I will likely frustrate you at some point. ... however, I am one hell of a loyal person, should I ever decide you are a friend.

So there it is, I guess.

Sorry 'bout that, I use everything in Fahrenheit, as I'm an Amurrican. It's about 2000°F.

I'm from the USA, and I use both Imperial AND Metric. Generally metric, however... as that's what the rest of the world uses.
Guys I am terribly sorry for the delay. I've just... well... due to illness and a new employment focus, I have lost a lot of drive and such to make IC posts.

If I am holding things up, feel free to puppet Ysolda or even kill her. She can just respawn at that one place when I can finally return.
I'm actually fighting off a bad as hell chest cold or some shit. It's hard for me to breathe the past couple days, let alone even stay awake and focused long enough to post.

I'll try to get shit done soon, but feel free to move ahead without me.

My apologies.
What sort of system would this be using? The T1 ala the RP Skallagrim mentioned? Cinematic "If it makes sense, do it"? Or something more stat-based? I would like a bit more info, please. And yes, I remember the 10-tier system. Though I generally disregard Tier 10 as Cattle Feces.
Did someone say Merkava?
ASTA. MH. Stop this innane silliness before I ban you both from this thread.

I heard the average vest of chain mail was slightly in excess of 20 pounds, I could google, but meh, so could you.

A modern hauberk made from 1.5 mm diameter wire with 10 mm inner diameter rings weighs roughly 10 kg (22 lb) and contains 15,000–45,000 rings.

However, modern chainmail is generally made from lighter metals such as aluminum or titanium.. This is opposed to the iron or simple alloys of the medieval period.

How heavy are they again?

Chain Mail, contrary to popular belief, is often heavier than plate armor. In addition, the articulation of the plates offers superior mobility as opposed to the chain (which bunches up at places like knees and elbows when moving). Granted, a plate-and-chain ensemble is one of the more protective forms of armor... but it greatly restricts movement as opposed to a simple breastplate with simple gauntlets and boots.

Until you see me hit something with a mace this study is inconclusive

ACTUALLY... Maces are approved weapons in the SCA. Many people use them for just that reason, that they are heavy and you can't just shrug off a mace-hit. That said, even swung full force, the HDPE armor we wore did reduce the impact quite a bit.
