I'm definitely one of those people who never changes their avatar or signature and I'm 100% ok with that.

I'm not sure what I did to lure you here but I do apologize and I also would like to welcome you to my page. Now with the pleasantries aside, a bit about me.

I have been role playing for about 3 maybe 4 years now, I love writing and I spend a lot of free time doing just that. I also spend a lot of time that is meant to be for work writing but that's another story. I live in the American midwest (think great lakes region) so that should give you an idea of my timezone. That being said I am often up at many hours of the night, or morning depending on your point of view.

I am indeed a girl and she/her whatever works.

Vince had seen them before they located him, they were hoping he would be out in the open but that was not the case for him. He only managed to loose these people for so long, they wore armor that made any kind of meddling on his part impossible. He buried himself in the crowds but it didn't work. They found him and tranquilized him, nothing special. He fell unconscious, cursing himself for not being able to fight anyone. He should have gone into the corporate side of the meta world.

The sun was bright enough to wake him, it was hot and nothing like the rays that got through the smog of LA. There were also a pair of bikini clad girls pointing and giggling, humans were pretty dumb. Running a hand through his slightly sanded hair he stretched it had been quite the nap. For some reason he felt like there was someone who he was trying to avoid but he didn't know who. He didn't know where he was or how he had got here but maybe someone on this beach would know.

He noticed a girl sitting under a palm tree, she looked vaguely familiar. He approached her as intimidatingly as he could, holding out his hand for her to shake or help herself up. He introduced himself, "My name is Vince and I couldn't help but wonder if we've met before, you look familiar." He smiled kindly at her.

Avarice

"It's fine, I think it's a bit odd too but my parents gave me that name..." She paused for a moment as if trying to remember if that was true, "Well that's what I assume happened." She sighed before realizing her bathing suit was gone. She shook her head and pushed away the towel, "I would never wear that, thank you for the offer but I have my own solution." She snapped her fingers and a black strapless dress appeared, tight and fitting.

"Who ever did this is just like you and me, I'm going to catch him and skin him alive before I throw him into the ocean." Her smile did not falter and her tone stayed the same, just another day for her. "You could help if you want but I have nothing to offer you if I do. Of course all you have better to do is sit here sipping martinis and whatnot." She was still smiling though the idea of actually doing something put some life into her. "That boy...Kuro... He'll do this again and I'd like to keep the people who actually care about this stuff from overreacting." She didn't care how convincing that sounded; this Kuro, names came back but not anything else, was dead meat. He messed with the wrong girl, the real Cer would have taken it but Avarice was not Cer and there would be hell to pay for anyone who disrespected her.
@Raijinslayer
I'll try get a post up soon! I think I'm sending Scarlett over to Nate because damn, I want some interaction with th t character. Maybe I'll send Ruby to Jaden and Eden? Olivia will probably be doing something weird anyways!

Speaking of Olivia, that's who I was going to have Vince talk to, is that alright?
Avarice had barely reached the bar when a tall man asked her about the island. She ordered a cocktail before turning to him, "The only thing I can tell you is that we are on a tropical island but if you didn't already know that you have bigger problems." She thanked the waitress for her drink and sipped it quietly, "It's almost like biblical paradise, a bit odd, don't you think?" She stared out at the beach for a moment.

"I'm sorry, I don't think I caught your name. I'm Avarice you can call me.... Ava." She smiled at him, unsure why she felt he could be useful to resort domination or why she wanted to take over the resort in the first place. Without her memories Avarice still had much of her humanity and sanity. She was essentially a normal person now, though how long that might last was up for debate.
Avarice and Cer had noticed their presence weeks ago when they look down the THOR satellite. Cer had been secretly throwing her energy out into the universe, so far she had found galaxies that lay light years ahead of anything humans could even see, they had seen her the whole time. Cer had been gone a lot and people hadn't asked what she had been up to, in her own way she'd done something pretty evil by not saying anything. Avarice had been expecting them but they had been Expecting Cer, she smiled when the flood lights shined in her windows and gave them hell for a few minuets. It wasn't very fair, they opened fire and she only managed to stay awake for that long. They were surprised, that was what mattered.
---

Avarice felt her self swirling in involuntary exhaustion when the voices pierced through the clouds,
"We are pumping enough tranquilizer into you to kill an earth whale, if you keep fighting your body will eventually be unable to detox and you will die. We are giving you fair warning now let go." A cold voice rang and for once in her short life, she listened. The world began to fade she had to hold onto a thought, she couldn't fight them physically but she could fight them mentally. It felt futile but she'd do it anyway I have to Remember...

---
Avarice woke to the sound of waves crashing onto the shore and the only thought in her mind was to remember though she didn't know what. Looking to her left there was a girl in the same swimsuit but in white, she looked almost exactly the same as Avarice but she had no clue who this girl was. Sitting up from her beach chair she realized her hair was blonde.... hadn't it always been that way? She wasn't sure but it seemed monumentally unimportant. Avarice was in shock, she had always seen the world but never felt it. Why that was she couldn't recall.

Turning away from the ocean she decided that she would try one of those tropical drink things that tasted more like juice than alcohol. Grabbing her sandals she walked towards the resort buildings. Maybe she could find some real clothing too, she doubted anyone could take her seriously dressed the way she was.
Vince was about to get snippy with Eli maybe even try to fight him but he changed his mind very quickly after seeing Cer, within a couple of seconds he realized that it wasn't really her and that was a very bad thing. He played off his alarm by pointing to a broadcast of Cedric's death, "Doesn't matter now, we got what we really came here for." He put on a half hearted grin.

"I'm not up to a fight, the primary objective is complete so I think I'll just go. You and your friends have a lot to piece back together, I'm not evil enough to waste your time." Vince turned quickly, the crowds of people parting for him, before closing around him again. He had just enough time to look back and see Avarice staring right at him, grinning as wide as ever. Vince shook his head, trying to clear the image out as he walked. At least he'd had an excuse to leave, it could have been much worse.
Cer stared horror stricken as she watched the remaining footage from the security room, most camera's were out but each one showed some different scene of horror. Was this how her friends had felt when they died? She didn't know but it was tearing her apart to even imagine them feeling this trapped and helpless. Besides that she was literally watching Cedric die before her eyes and though she had barely knew him it was the last straw. It probably could have been anyone and she would have felt the same way, she wanted to make them see that they couldn't do what they wanted with out paying the price...

They should bow to us, not kill our subordinates.

The thought had come out of no where and her expression chanced from upset to ghostly white, she hadn't come up with that and there was only one being who would. The fact that She was even putting in her two cents was bad, though it made sense, things were going to hell and that was usually Her cue to make an offer or something but She was surprisingly silent, then again the words popped into her head,

I'd ask you to let me in but you're so lost I don't need to.

Cer knew She was right but she denyed it and the headache started, when someone starts to hack away at your mind it most definitely hurts. Cer's only consolation was that she knew that She was just as hurt by it. Breath cut off, Cer floundered around the security room trying to do something to save herself, in vain of course, She wasn't about to let this opportunity slip.

----

Taking deep breaths Cer sat back up calm but different, her eyes had lost their kindness, her facial expression and body language told the rest, this was not Cer as many had known her but as someone completely different... "Avarice...that will work just fine." She whispered seemingly to herself, grinning. She suddenly winced, rubbing her temples, "Cer if you don't stop it I'll kill everyone in this building, you're lucky I'm even keeping you around, you're a good bargaining chip." Using the blackened screens as a mirror she clicked her tongue, "My hair is a mess now thanks to you, you and your stupid buns. You're such a square." Avarice chuckled and pulled out the hair band, letting her grey hair fall a little past her shoulders, "Its such an ugly color, I'd don't know why you had to try to stop that mountain cave from collapsing, you really ruined my looks."

Shaking her head she left the room, as much as she wanted to beat up the 'beauty' woman she decided that her empire must be established first, maybe in some dictorial nation but she would need her ace up her sleeve first. She has so many options on who it would be. There was the classic Vince who could be pretty easily convinced into working for her but all the new people looked so fun too. Eli with his powerful fire and matching scathing personality, a challenge but worth it. There was a little girl at the back entrance who looked promising though lower on her charisma scale and Light, whole while also very powerful, would be impossible to convince. Avarice smiled as a though came to mind, while she probably couldn't replicate Light's power she could do the same to those she had met, that though would have to come at a later time. Instead she simply started to leave the building, she wasn't the least bit worried, after all people still though she was Cer for the time being and that was a good thing.

Vince watched as people began to evacuate and in time devolve into a frenzy, he wasn't sure if he cared very much but it bothered him not to know. He was quite content to sit on that roof top a while longer, sipping wine, enjoying the sunset and being a suave bastard in general. He was naturally a curious person and that curiosity got the better of him, "What are you seeing Camille? Anything interesting?" He hadn't wanted to ask her but she was the one with the binoculars.

Camille was ecstatic when she witnessed Patel's sudden burst of bloodlust, it was something one would normally see once in a lifetime. She was like someone who was too caught up in playing a game or something and would only give vague responses like 'yeah' or 'mhm' even if they would have no relation to the response Vince was hoping. She nibbled on a new slice of pizza while watching Solf enter the building, thus preventing her from seeing the juicy bits.

"Awwwww..." she'd whine without giving an explanation. She then tried to find a better angle to perhaps see the monster through a window or something.

Vince raised an eyebrow, he honestly couldn't tell if she was doing this on purpose or just that captivated by the destruction. "Camille, calm down! It's not a circus, would you be this excited to watch an exterminator or a kid stomping ants would you? That's what this is, you and everyone else get off on the whole pain thing, don't expect me to follow. It so much easier to just kill them all quickly, if you stop to enjoy it you're wasting time."

Looking at the table he realized that most of the food was gone thanks to Camille's appetite, he sighed and began to clean up the mess leaving the rest of it within her reach in case she wanted to finish it off. He began check off his weapons list, every shot gun and gadgets accounted for. "If you'd rather be a little bitch and not tell me what's happening that's fine but remember we are supposed to be working together, if I don't know what's going on I can't do my job." He sighed, he was still getting used to working with Camille and he did not like it.

A bulge of veins popped out of Camille's forehead as Vince's little morality check about working together and all that nonsense got on her nerves pretty quickly. She turned to face him, aiming right at his face before hurling the pair of binoculars right at the young man's face.

"Pffffff, quit whining petit parasite, we can't see Patty anymore." she puffed her cheeks in frustration over the lack of action going on and her partner's constant bitching. Plus most of the food was gone now, probably Vince's fault for not bringing enough during such a grand occasion.

"Oh and.. I'm no sadistic weirdo, I'm not manipulating people against their will après tout~ Hypoooooocrite! At least I make them vanish quick~" she replied with a provoking tone before sticking her tongue out in sass.

Vince barely managed to dodge the binoculars that flew past his head and shattered on the roof top. "Tsch, now they're broken." Despite her childish fit, she had a point. While he found it hard to even accept the way she acted he tried respect what she meant. "Alright, fair enough. What I was trying to say was I don't want Isabella or anyone else on my ass because we messed up. However you want that to happen is fine but I'm not putting myself in a bad situation for you." Ignoring her sass and his urge to laugh he gave her a serious look.

He took another moment to go over what she said then ,almost contemplatively, he said, "I don't get much from human pain and though I dislike killing Metas, it is thoroughly more enjoyable than people. Honestly I don't believe that humans hold much of a right to anything so we need to root them out before they feel more entitled than they already do." Vince held his tongue from going further, Camille probably wouldn't understand or care. "So if we can't see Patel anymore, that means its go time?" Vince sat up a bit, ready to get away from here.

She got even madder, the bulge on her forehead widening just a little bit as she growled at his self-righteous moral speeches. They were long and boring, like Sebastian's, except they were about friendship and teamwork. Or something similar, she didn't follow long enough to conclude to anything consistent. Just as she was ready to punch his face in, he suggested to go and mess around at future Ground Zero, which calmed her down very quickly.

"Oh yeah, that makes a looooot of sense. If you carry me, I'll give you five dollars~" she'd offer him, just to mock him even more than she should have done.

Vince tried not to laugh but it was getting harder, "Sorry but walking is good for you." A shit eating grin spread across his face and he dashed off the roof, not waiting for the result. He wasn't sure how it was an act and how much had been meant to just annoy her. He couldn't really help it, they'd been stuck working together more than he cared for and it was beginning to wear on him. He stopped around ground level and used the manager's office, that was so generously emptied for him, to change. He felt a little bit like Batman in that when it came to actual fighting he had to rely on skill and whatever was in his arsenal. He decided it would be better to leave his cloak behind he didn't particularly need it now.

Camille rolled her eyes as she followed him in stealth mode, coordinating her footsteps with his so he wouldn't notice her. She did all this just to take a peek at the manager's office as the man was changing. It have her plenty of time to check him out, and eventually she'd giggle at some elements she wasn't supposed to see in the first place. She tried to keep quiet because she didn't want to get caught but deep down all she wanted was to have another argument or fight just to have some attention pointed at her. Hey, children will always be children, even if they're 25 and jobless.

Vince turned to leave when he noticed the crack in the door, Camille was obviously peeking. Whatever, there wasn't enough time in the day to deal with her shit. So he pretended not to notice, opening the door he feigned ignorance and stepped past her. "Thanks for waiting, you wanted me to take the west part, right? I think I'll deal with the crowds first, Patel can't kill them if they run away." He walked over to the door and held it open for her, "Don't say anything stupid and I doubt anyone will even notice us, there's likely to be a fight of some sort but you know what to do." He gestured towards the door eager to get going.

"Nope, the back. Do you even listen?! Ah la la morveux va..." she'd reply to the seemingly indifferent man whom she had just spied on in a flagrant manner. It didn't seem to bring her anymore attention, but trying was never a waste for Camille. Her colleague wanted to go and so did she, but before leaving she looked around the various empty rooms in the apartment floor they had sacked from the submissive manager. Upon digging a few seconds in a closet, she had found it: An Umbrella, a simple dark blue umbrella.

"Héhé, this is way better than that guy's magic hammer thing." she'd mutter to herself, pleased that she had acquired a melee weapon that, in her mind, matched Light's toon hammer. She'd then follow her partner down the road to the Reformist HQ.

It wasn't long until Vince and Camille split up, Vince to take care of the escapees and Camille to run off and do something childish awesome very stupid your mum. Vince started working through the crowd until he got to a good mid point and ordered them to stop, most did to his satisfaction. He asked them repeatedly to go inside and promised that nothing was wrong. They were beginning to listen when an arrow flew at him knocking him back. Frowning he looked to see a girl shooting some kind of bow at him. Her accuracy was dead on so even he couldn't dodge every arrow, these however were meant to push him back, he would need to adapt if he wanted a chance when this Katniss wannabe started firing real shots.

As for Camille, she had to maneuver her way through a couple of alleys to end up before a long row of fences with barbed wires astraddle. They didn't pose a problem to the meta who could age anything to mere dust, so she proceeded anyway. She'd soon gain the air strip where multiple choppers were being prepared for emergency evacuation. Luckily for Camille the people around where too busy concentrating on their own thing that they would distinguish the laid back Camille strolling through the panicked masses as she laid a simple finger on a helicopter's engine. It would cause most of the area to degenerate into what seemed to be nothing. Rinse and repeat, she'd combo the vehicles set in rows before turning her attention to the chaotic base. Work started now, she'd have to locate some interesting stuff to recruit while maybe killing a few people along the way.

TL;DR: I don't even know, just read the last couple paragraphs and you'll get the important stuff.

@c3p-0h@NarcissisticPotato
Cer already led a group of people out the back so yeah.

Vince never met Max but I'll roll with it.
Let me see if I can fully shake out the situation.

Solf is running roughshod through the middle of the building, Light and Cedric are engaging him.

I'm going to say the west entrance is the emergency entrance to the infirmary I keep mentioning, because it doesn't make any sense for that to be around the back. The back exit is probably the place where Overdrive was delivered, a sort of place where you unload trucks of cargo.

That means that Max and Healing Spore got whammied by Vince. This makes sense because Vince was sent to recruit and taking away Spore would be a crippling blow, and also means that Eli and Olivia are now in the infirmary.
Anyone escaping through the back means they're going to run face first into Camille.

Does this seem right to everybody else? Any gaps in my logic?

Also, is it safe to assume Olivia took the courtacy of informing everyone on the channel that there were two more enemy metas blocking the exits, or was that specifically directed at Cedric?

Wait Vince was fighting people with out me? That jerk.
@c3p-0h
Did you mean Cer? I find it pretty funny that you said Sir but where did you get purple hair? She has purpley eyes (according to everyone else, I thought they were blue) and her hair is gray from stress.
