I'm definitely one of those people who never changes their avatar or signature and I'm 100% ok with that.

Bio

I'm not sure what I did to lure you here but I do apologize and I also would like to welcome you to my page. Now with the pleasantries aside, a bit about me.

I have been role playing for about 3 maybe 4 years now, I love writing and I spend a lot of free time doing just that. I also spend a lot of time that is meant to be for work writing but that's another story. I live in the American midwest (think great lakes region) so that should give you an idea of my timezone. That being said I am often up at many hours of the night, or morning depending on your point of view.

I am indeed a girl and she/her whatever works.

@Conscripts I think the familial bloodline makes the most sense since her vision is a family trait. While he won't blind her She'd probably choose to wear sunglasses or something in Azael's presence, I mean he's still shrouded in holy light.
@Conscripts Here's an interesting question, since Wren can see the true form of supernatural beings, would meeting Azael and seeing his true form cause some negative side effects? I'd rather it be that she is immune due to her familial ability/curse/whatever because that way our characters could actually interact at some point during the RP. Let me know what you think.
Beach
Wren sat on the beach side patio of Angel's Cove bar and grill, sipping a mojito that had been made with too much mint and lime to cover up the mediocre white rum the bartender had used. It was not like her to start drinking midday but she had already seen a few demons jogging the block today and needed something to take the edge off. As she looked out on the sand there seemed to still be a few supernaturals, much closer than she would have liked.
@Letmehaveone2 Posted my CS
Name:
"My name is Wren, yes like the bird, let's not focus too much on that. Also, no I won't tell you my last name for privacy reasons, I don't want to make it any easier for the supernatural to find me."

Nickname:
"Well I've had a couple of demons who called me 'birdie' or 'litte birdie' and I really wasn't a fan of that but you asked so I'm not going to lie.

Age:
"It's rude to ask a woman her age... I'm 21."

Gender:
"You seriously have to ask? I'm a woman, thank you very much!"

Species:
"Well I'm pretty sure I'm human or at least mostly human."

Powers(Nothing too overpowered please):
"Here we go, the one interesting thing about me. See in my family, we can see the true form or forms of a supernatural. Doesn't matter how strong they are or think they are. Normally they know that I can see them, which makes hiding from them difficult sometimes. Also my family is what I would call intoxicating to supernaturals. Something about our blood or souls or whatever else they might want from us is irresistible to them. If they don't want our 'life blood' or whatever, they desire things that are a little less PG-13 so I won't go into details. Family rumors have it that the strongest among us can actually turn off their vision powers but for me I just get to see a bunch of ugly supernatural assholes. Oh, sorry pardon my French. Also I know a good deal of martial arts, I know it's not a power but still."

Appearance(s): "Here's a picture from my Instagram, I put some flowers in my hair I think it turned out pretty cute."

Crush:
"Well that's a little personal don't you think?"

Relationship:
"Yeah I'm single, most normie humans think I'm too weird and supernaturals usually look too freaky. Guess I'm just going to be alone forever... No I'm not about to cry!!"

Personality:
"Good question, I've got a sense of humor most of the time. I think I'm a pretty tough person, I have to be otherwise I'd probably be a soulless vegetable by now. I can be a little abrasive and brash, at least that's what I've been told. Confidence is not something I'm short on, neither is pent up aggression."

History(optional):
"I'm not about to spill any family secrets here but there was probably some curse or spell used on us forever ago. That's all I'm at liberty to say, if this interview makes it into the supernatural community I don't want them knowing my life story, ok? They have websites you know, where they share stuff like this.

Likes/Dislikes:
"Oooh ok so I'm a big fan of sweets. I like alt rock music, if you don't know that that is you should really look it up. I think travel is awesome, I've been to Germany, France, England, Ireland, and China but I've already said too much . I love the internet, I'm like always on Instagram or Snapchat but no you can't have my social media handles, again security reasons.

Other:
"I have nothing else to add."
Hey I'm gonna apply in the CS tab but I was wondering if I could do my CS in a interview sort of format? I mean there's a chance I'll be too lazy to do it but if I do I want to make sure I'm cleared to do so.

Juniper laughed as the teen went around the room handing out somewhat offensive nicknames, "Blondie will do just fine."@Tenma Tendo

She felt 'Blondie' was much better than being called a witch, which might become the case after her ability became clear. It seemed to her as if they were all somewhat well acquainted with what their powers were and while this could have been an exaggeration Juniper felt left out. What was even stranger was that Juniper knew what they could do too, just by looking at them she had a strange sense of the technicalities of their abilities.

Looking at Thalia's wounds it was clear she needed to stitch herself up but Juniper refrained from commenting, after all she couldn't explain why she knew that or if it was even right. Maybe there was some meeting she had forgotten about where she had been told everyone's predicted powers. Though it was unlikely she had a prior briefing Juniper did not want to accept that her magic was based on the others. The last thing she wanted to be was a leach or some kind of mind reader. Her eyes rested on the man with fangs and a deep shudder ran through her, as scary as he looked his powers had the potential to be terrifying. At the moment it felt best to duck out of the room rather than stumble across another ability that made her almost as fearful as magic did.

Following the doctors, Juniper entered the break room. "Hey Doc, I feel like I need to ask what this whole 'magic powers' thing is going to really mean for me? I don't even know where I would start if I had to craft my own spells. Maybe some ancient civilization got it right but that's a lot of studying I'd have to do which would require quite a bit of historical texts I'm pretty sure don't exist anymore..." Juniper sighed, she was trying really hard to understand what exactly she was supposed to do. @Majoras End
Ok so I finally posted but I was also thinking of refining Juniper's powers since right now it seems like they're a little bit of a mixed bag. Plus, in my experience power stealing is extremely hard to execute in an RP and I feel like it really steps on peoples toes. I wanted to amend that to possibly just a replication for a short period of time. I feel like the magical vessel is alright but it would make more sense if she were able to create spells that would lead to the creation of a vessel, meaning she wouldn't start out with it. I want to keep some of that hidden menace trait she's supposed to have but I feel like that needs to develop over time.

Or I could just be over thinking this.

Juniper had been mentally preparing for this day for quite some time but as she stood in front of the facility she felt as if she was being caught completely off guard. As she walked in some of the staff greeted her with that same curious and eager look. A look she had been receiving since the second meeting in the application process when she had told them about her phobia of Magic. It made more sense after she had signed the NDA and they told her of the opportunity to turn her phobia into a power. Their only caveat was that they could really not say how her powers would manifest. Magical powers, having many forms in folk lore, could mean anything. These scientists also saw an opportunity to possibly break the law of conservation of energy, if magical energy could create something from nothing then there would suddenly be an exception to many of the laws of physics.

Lost in her thoughts, Juniper was already on the operating table. She consciously chose not to take in her surroundings, her eyes staring off into the distance, glazed and despondent. Before she knew it a nurse was prepping her arm for the serum. "So there's no anesthetic?" Her voice wavered nervously.

The nurse shook her head lightly, "Only if we think you really need it, we find it can disrupt the treatment."

"Ahhh I see, best if we avoid that." Juniper murmured to herself mostly. She felt the prick of the needle in her arm, at first it was like just a needle prick, nothing more. As the seconds ticked on she began to feel warm, similar to what one feels when drunk. This warm feeling became accompanied by a strange energy. It didn't hurt physically but Juniper was very uncomfortable. The staff just continued watching her carefully. The energy began to surge and everything faded to black

Juniper's eyes shot open and she woke with a start, sitting up very quickly. She was not tired, she did not feel foggy. In fact, everything seemed crystal clear, more in focus than ever before. The energy she felt before was still there but now it was quiet, waiting for her to call upon it. The nurses around her looked very frazzled as if they had seen a ghost or, more likely, something much stranger. "Well you have stabilized Miss Baroclette, I think we're all glad to see it too." said a nurse with a once pristine bun that was now quite messy.

"How long was I out, did something happen?" Juniper asked as she slid off the table, causing the nurse to flinch and step back. This shocked Juniper, no one had ever been afraid of her before.

"Miss Baroclette, while you do seem to be in perfect health, the treatment caused quite the ruckus. You were convulsing, we had luckily put you in restraints by that point and you were babbling in a strangely deliberate way. Something more, you whipped up quite a storm, wind and what not. I swear we thought we gave you the Lilapsophobia serum on accident." The nurse rambled, clearly she was unable to regain her cool. The others glared at her, as if to tell her to shut her mouth.

Juniper was feeling uneasy by this point, that eager look from before was different now, it was fearful. She could take being ignored, disproved of but this was new and she wasn't sure she liked it. "Oh, should I go join the others?" Juniper was unsure of how else she could have responded. The nurse nodded at her and directed her down the correct end of the hall way. With the speed walk of a 80's mom Juniper left.

Upon entering the room with the others Juniper realized she was late, perhaps her whole magical possession show had taken longer than the processes the others went through. As she took in the others, she realized that she had been given the long end of the stick. Of course it was obvious that the people with physical anomalies had probably suffered but she could see in the eyes of those who otherwise looked normal that their internal transformation had been harrowing. Juniper felt like she had missed something but remained silent, she didn't want to interrupt.
I'm working on a post but I think I should maybe mention that I am on a bit of a vacation in Ireland and later England, shouldn't effect my posting speed too much.
