Love Guru Ms. Diane

A mysterious love guru that acts as the counselor/teacher to the group. She's witty and caring and has a "doesn't take shit from anybody" kind of attitude. No one knows what she does and who she is outside of the meetings, that's a mystery all on its own.

Edgar Bradbury

Owner of "Love-More" Cafe, an old friend of Ms. Diane but unlike her, is an open book to everyone. Originally wanted to open up a bar until his father and brother succumbed to alcoholism. Love-More Cafe has been open for 30 years since then and sometimes acts as the meetup place for Ms. Diane's shenanigans.

Molly Murphy

The wonderfully blunt assistant of Ms. Diane. Takes all her calls and schedules meetings...for whatever Ms. Diane does. Even Molly doesn't know but she just does what she is told anyway. She knows a little more about Ms. Diane than everyone else which she prides herself on. (But it's the basic stuff like what kind of coffee she likes and what food she hates. Other than that she's on the same level as everyone.)

[Love Less] | In the Game of Love, Everyone Loses

This story takes place in New York, NY and focuses on complete strangers who all share one thing in common: They are incapable of feeling love. Even if a someone’s personality is bubbly and lively, or someone who is a heartbreaker and pimp, they all can’t seem to actually love anyone romantically and feel as if there is a missing puzzle piece to their life. These strangers who share a common problem happen to end up all meeting each other through a mysterious group counseling class. Ever since then, their fates intertwine and like a thread: can be sparse and fragile.
But the journey to find love isn’t always happy and warming. There’s always going to be heartbreak, drama, and suspense. People will get hurt and some might even end up not finding any love at all. Will this crowd with dead hearts find someone that will make it skip a beat?

*** This RP WILL most likely have a pre-determined end point. The story won’t be short but it also isn’t going to drag on forever. I will set up “Chapters” based on the time the story takes place (Christmas arc, New Years, Valentines, etc.) If a continuation after the ending is highly requested, then I will set up a sequel***

Where the story takes place, a bustling city that never seems to sleep.

Love-More Cafe

The cafe where the group counseling meetings & classes are held. Everyone meets here every Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7-9 pm. Main parts of the story will take place here as well as the opportunity to interact with everyone

New York University

A private university with 50,000 students enrolled and over 350 graduate programs and 14 graduate schools. This is where your character attends if they are in college.

• Please respect others, unless it's in the IC and part of the story no fighting.
• This is casual so at least one paragraph is required, no one-liners
• Let me know if you're going to be inactive for a while and we can work something out
• Number of characters is limited to 1 for now
• I will allow for the mention of sex, drugs, cussing and other mature themes but not descriptions of them. But if you want sexy times keep it in the PMs
• Timeframe of the story will stay with the Chapter as we move on to more arcs

Bio: Born in 1890, she had been in Hong Kong all of her life until at the age of 19 she met and fell in love with a vampire from Great Britain who promised her a better life back in his home country. After being turned into a vampire, they eloped to England, leaving her old life and family behind. The next 30 years were bliss while they lived in Manchester, until one day he leaves her for another girl. Heartbroken and outraged, she kills him and the girl and escapes to London. There she finds and moves into the Lughaidh apartments. In order to hide her identity as a vampire and a murderer, every 15 years she switches jobs from being a nightclub hostess and a night shift nurse. (Currently a nightclub hostess)
Personality: Used to be warm and friendly but after having her heartbroken she became cold and distant. She thinks that people who are too lively and bubbly are annoying and tries her best to stay clear of them. If someone pisses her off, she’ll put in a lot of effort in making them regret it. She can be petty when things don’t go her way. A lot of times she’ll hide her true feelings on things to maintain her image (like hiding the fact that she loves sweets). Her positive traits however, can be described as reliable and charming. The people that manage to befriend her are the kind that trusts her and stay friends. She hides the fact that she murdered 2 people, but that has not come back to haunt her, yet.
