It took all of a few minutes in order for the scene to dissolve into a series of individual discussions and, in one case, an argument. Glaring at the arrogant mage who made snide insinuations about preparations - was having something in that circle really all that big of a deal? - she opened her mouth to say something when he pulled out a pair of panties from his bag. That incident alone was enough to get a chortle out of her and she turned her head to hide the incredulous face and strange sounds threatening to come out.

Turning her head back towards the center of the room, she looked around as the arrogant mage who most reminded her of why she left the life of a magus to begin with began a verbal confrontation with the girl whose panties he had held in his hand. Sighing in exasperation - something she could do now that she had taken a moment to recompose herself.

Reaching into her pocket and fiddling with her motorcycle key to hide her nerves, she glanced at Zeltrech, asking, begging, imploring him to step in and say something. How did all of these mages find the composure to act so carefree right under his watch, anyways?
Man, imagine what it would be like if someone had apped Caster Bluebeard.... :V

Call of Cthulhu: Holy Grail War 2: Uncomprehensible Electric Boogaloo
@VitaVitaAR I'm personally more enamored by the /SF Jack more because reasons, however I guess a part of why Apo!Jack didn't really grow on me despite her actually pretty nice concept and backstory was my personal dislike on what happened on her part in Apo, but eh, it's nothing but personal bias.

Grail War balance was pretty much never a concept since conception anyway. It's an intentionally rigged system from the start, although due to oversights in general, the other containers weren't as gimped as expected. Each container had their pre-set method on how would they compete, but of course, despite this technically making them equal, some ended up being better than others. Which would be fine, really.

Assassin's issue really wasn't how much they get fucked over by their container. No matter their portrayal, they'd invariably be the class that was most prone to get fucked over by the narrative itself. Because after all you couldn't just have the servant go around and do what it's supposed to do willy nilly.

Berserker still imo would be the hardest class to win with in a HGW scenario. They're even more of a one-trick pony compared to Assassin, and while they're very strong at doing what they do, their linearity made it a lot easier for other masters to plan for them while making it hard for their master to actually make plans around him, barring the very rare exceptions like Lancelot. They would go down fighting, most definitely, but actually winning would be really hard.

Pretty sure the other classes weren't gimped as much as they would have liked to just so the other four participants think they can win instead of recognizing it immediately as rigged
I've posted, and going with the assigned pairings I've made a little extra as to why Amedea would be getting a berserker~
"To all Masters: please gather in the hall on the third floor. I shall meet you there momentarily. I repeat: please gather in the hall on the third floor. Thank you."

After a few days of doing nothing, Amedea was rather glad for some form of direction. With the high tech nature of her building having put her at ease after a flight consisting of wondering what kind of 12th century mansion would have been awaiting her, she had been silently considering the prospect that maybe, just maybe, this wouldn't be so bad for her.

Pocketing the keys to her motorcycle as she walked out of the room, she walked down the hall. While she was more than apprehensive about participating in this entire ritual/event/war/whatever it was going to be, she knew she would have to deal with it if she wanted to go back to a relatively normal life again. As such, there was no point in whining or complaining about it now. To take her mind off of her predicament, she reached into her pocket and took out a piece of paper...

"What's this?" she glared at her family as she sat on one end of the dining table for the first time in over 10 years, "After all this time you're finally reaching out to me?"

"Don't be so cold," the man who unfortunately was Amedea's father said with a pleasant smile hiding a layer of venom. "You are my daughter; it would be remiss of me to just abandon you like that."

"You were - and still are - perfectly fine with me not even existing in your eyes if it wasn't for that damn marshal's invitation and you know it."

"Yes, the Wizard Marshal Zeltrech... my dear, I have a gift for you."

Reaching out in his breast pocket, her father slid a piece of paper across the table. Taking the piece of paper, Amedea opened it and read. "What's this?"

"The Marshal will no doubt ask you to partake in this ritual, the beginning of which involves a smaller ritual of its own." the father explained. "As a part of this ritual, you will make this chant. However, you are a neglectful magus - a nonexistent one at that, if one might say." he smirked in response to her glare. "As such, I forsee... difficulty in your capability to meet the Marshal's demands, and in return I wanted to give you a gift, so to speak. Something to make it easier for someone who is as less skilled in the ways of the magus than your cohorts undoubtedly will. Just follow the instructions on the paper and read the incantation when instructed, and all will be well.

Consider it my gift to my daughter who I have not seen in over a decade before she goes off to battle."

Entering the room, Amedea took a look at the two other magus who had already arrived before nodding respectfully in Zeltrech's direction and walking towards a normal, empty circle. She had no idea what the objects that were in some of the circles were, and she had no intention of finding out.
Edit: Yeah, Nezha is fine now.

Thank you~

On that note...

I'll find a Servant, dad ;~;7

Also I'd be down to start whenever you feel we are ready.

Um... how would you feel about Nezha, if you want a servant?

Assuming she's accepted, that is. I've edited her Wind-Fire-Wheel to make it a bit more clear, I think ;w;@PKMNB0Y
@ShadowKingman: Uh... Hm...
I think that given how often Nezha is given that androgynous look in Chinese stuff, this is the logical conclusion thereof. But make the function of the wheels clearer and the fact that she's riding them, honestly. Otherwise, she's more Lancer-y than Rider-y.

I'll fix the Wind Fire Wheels and make it clear. However, I did make her a Rider instead of Lancer because I'm not sure how we're doing on that.

Especially considering we have like three lancers to one rider ^^;;
