"His followers shouldn't be as much of a problem as the man himself. If they were as dangerous as Kemmler, they would have killed him long ago. With all the dark magic and breaking of the Fifth Law, their minds have been twisted by unrestrained ambition. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they think they're gods already."

An idea came to Elizabeth. "The older the corpse, the stronger the zombie, right? I have no clue what Kemmler and his cronies plan to do, but they're going to need defenses, and the easiest way to get them is to go to the source. There's got to be some old graveyards around here, like medieval old. That's where I think we'll find them."

Elizabeth was in the storeroom of the coven's underground lair. "Hmm. Looks like we're running low on distilled moonlight and rose essence. I'll have to go get some tomorrow." She walked out to the Grand Hall. Made long before she was born, the Hall had a 30-foot high ceiling and everburning torches to provide a warm glow. She often came here even when there was nobody around to just sit and think. She'd been doing that a lot recently, wondering how she could ever live up to her aunt's reputation. Mary Anne had made her coven the envy of every other in the U.S., and Elizabeth felt like the coven hated her. How could she lead without their respect?

Alex had found an apartment in Carlsford, and was living under a cover as a struggling writer. What he was really up to was research. The hardest part of hunting wasn't in the heat of battle, but in the hours of piecing together many little bits of information to come up with a target. And this coven seemed to be very large. Large enough that if he tried to take them out on his own, he'd be a smear on the walls in seconds. He'd need help to pull this off, but if he could...

And now, our not-so-fearless First Sister, as well as a new hunter to balance things out.

Elizabeth Redding

Name: Elizabeth Redding

Age: 20

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Straight

Appearance: Elizabeth is tall and willowy, almost to the point of looking a little underweight. She has red hair, green eyes, and a few freckles that bely her father's Irish ancestry.

Personality: Elizabeth is a tomboy through and through. She often joked in high school that her preferred nail polish was dirt, and was always eager to keep up with the boys. She also has a mile-wide streak of sass, something that isn't helping her in her new situation as First Sister.

Bio: Elizabeth's story is one of rejected privilege. Her father had no knowledge of the coven, but has built one of the largest construction companies in the state from the ground up, so Elizabeth grew up flush with cash. However, he spent so much time with his business that he neglected Elizabeth, and her mother just saw her as something to trot out for the latest society party. She desperately needed a parental figure in her life, and Aunt Mary Anne provided it.

Mary Anne recognized she had the gift of magic from an early age, and started training her among the coven. Elizabeth threw herself into magic and proved herself to be talented. She also remained levelheaded despite her money and skill. When Mary Anne was diagnosed with terminal cancer, beyond any medicine or spell to heal, she was devastated. Her designation as the new First Sister stunned her. Other witches had far more experience and seniority than her, but Mary Anne insisted until she gave in. Now, she's trying desperately to get a handle on coven politics before things get ugly.

Magical Specialty- Necromancy. For Elizabeth, death is not so much a wall as it is a doorway to power. She is extremely adept at physical necromancy, or manipulating corpses and skeletons, and is starting to learn spiritual necromancy, the power over spirits of the dead. True necromancy, or resurrecting the dead, is far beyond her skills at this time.

Alexander Harris

Age: 32

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Straight

Appearance: Short and wiry, with black hair, green eyes, and a bushy beard.

Personality: Alex is a laid-back practical joker when he's not hunting, almost like that kid in college who hadn't quite gotten the grasp of maturity. When he's at work, though, he's intense enough to frighten other hunters, let alone the witches he kills. It's almost like somebody flips a switch inside him.

Bio: It all began when Alex was twelve. He was over at his friend Amanda's house when he found some books. Books detailing dark and malevolent rituals that could kill, and worse. He confronted her, and Amanda broke down, confessing that she and her father had been planning to use his friendship with her to lure him into their house, then put him to sleep with a spell and use his life force to fuel their magic. That was his first experience with witchcraft.

After that, Alex devoted himself to finding and killing as many witches as he could. He doesn't trust witches who claim they don't use magic to harm, believing that it's just a matter of time before they fall into darkness. Rumors of magic have brought him to Carlsford, and he's looking for other hunters to ally with.

Weapon- A revolver that he loads with silver bullets. He's also decent with a sword.
