Setting

Homo Novi, the next stage of human evolution, Indigo Children. For years stories of young people with incredible abilities have been cropping up all over the world. No one ever really took much notice of these tales, leaving them for the tabloids and sensationalist news websites. They were written off as hoaxes and crackpot conspiracy stories. But now there are those who are taking notice. A year ago a secret organisation Known only as Indigo, operating behind the legitimate Genetic Research company Evolution Incorporated, began collecting these unique youngsters. They'd come in the night, black vans and commandos, to snatch away their targets leaving not a single lead for local authorities to follow. Those that are taken are shipped away to a unknown location where they are kept and studied with the hopes that their powers could be harnessed and marketed to the world's militaries and general public by Evolution Inc. In the Indigo Facility the children are given relative freedom, giving their prison the feel of an innocent boarding school. But their freedom is, naturally, a thinly veiled lie. Cameras watch their every move, every word they say is recorded, guards patrol the halls, and every day, between normal classes and their freetime, they are forced to test their abilities as men and women in white coats watch. Sometimes children will be taken down into the mysterious sub-level labs for further testing, they never return, and those left behind have to wonder "How long until I am taken?".

Alrighty then, if you read through that and are still interested then please go ahead and let me know. I'm looking to gauge how many people will be interested before I devote any real time into this. This roleplay will be predominately character driven, meaning that I will provide the world and it'll be up to the character in it to decide what to do with it. Try to escape? Take over the facility? Turn on your fellow Indigo Children and assist the scientists in return for perks? It's up to you and your characters.

And speaking of characters I'll leave a character skelly below for those interested parties who are struck by inspiration and just have to get it out right now.

Posted a link in my last IC post, to help visualise Dulla-chan's pose.
Dulla-chan

The red coated body, with the help of the winged woman, managed to stumble her way over to her head and pick it up, placing it securely in the crook of her arm. With great dignity, Dulla-chan placed a fist over her mouth and cleared her throat, an odd looking gesture with her head tucked under her arm. "Ahem. Thy should feel honored that thou couldst assist one such as I. I offer my thanks."

"My current state is quite the norm." She moved her head out from under her arm and balanced it on her shoulders, where it would normally be, striking a pose with one arm crossed over her chest and the elbow of her other arm resting on top of it, her fingers against her forehead in a way that covered one of her eyes with her hand. "I am the Dullahan. Herald of- oops -of Death itself!" In mid-speech she had to quickly catch her head, which had started to overbalance, before returning to her pose. "I need no mortal aid, however I will accompany you to this "doctor" as a sign of gratitude. You should feel honored." She didn't mention that her foot hurt quite a bit from when she'd kicked the trash can.

Dulla-chan

Dulla-chan had been concentrating, thinking hard on a possible solution to this problem. She considered and discarded many before settling on using her teeth to grab a hold of an appropriate stick and using it to pole her way over to her body. She was looking around for a nearby stick when she was interrupted by a bloodcurdling scream that caused her to let out a little shout of surprise of her own. "AHH! W-what?" She looked around and caught sight of someone standing in the edge of her vision.

Another person arrived directly in front of her, a woman with wings, and asked if she needed help and Dulla-chan couldn't help but feel the tinge of her injured pride. A smug smirk appeared on her face as she blew a strand of blonde hair out of her face. "Heh. As if one such I would require thy help. I am being beyond comprehension. Even this is nothing before my power." As she spoke her body climbed clumsily to it's feet and started stumbling around blindly, arms outstretched. "Sonofa-!" She flinched as her body collided with a trashcan, knocking it over and causing a domino effect.

"Ow ow ow!" Her body jumped around, clutching her foot, for a few seconds. Once she had recovered, Dulla-chan was silent for a long moment, her face turning a bit red. "M-maybe I need a little bit of help..." She mumbled, sulkily, refusing to look directly at the winged woman.
