[Shiny Keldeo]

Welcome! If you're reading this, than you decided to drop by for a visit and check out my profile! If not, then why are you still reading this right now?

The name's Keldeo, Shiny Keldeo. I joined the Guild about a two years ago after my first forum fizzled out. I thought I knew what I was doing with Roleplay when I came on the scene, when in reality I had barely scratched the surface of what I had to learn.

My first few RPs went bust, but with each failure I gained valuable experience to learn from, and eventually I started up a fairly successful RP known as Digimon: As the Lights Fade. However, it eventually went bust as over half the RPers, including my Co-GM, poofed and dropped without much warning.

Then came two of my longest running RPs. Pokemon: Legendary Guardians and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Shadows of the Past. Both were filled with great characters and I made a ton of new RP friends in them. Sadly, too many problems arose in both, and I was forced to shut them down.

I wasn't done with Legendary Guardians, however, and rebooted it to try my hand at it once more. So far, it's still going strong, thanks to dedicated people like Ninian and Light Lord, who've helped it stay alive through it all. I'm still not done yet, there's still more creative genius in me waiting to be tapped into!

Roleplay Information

I like to stick to Casual mostly. I've never tried anything in Advanced, but I just can't do anything in Free. I like to include way more dialog and information in my posts than I can post in Free.

I usually prefer to RP with Multiple Characters. It's easier for me to say more and do more, whether that being a Digidestined with a Digimon, a Pokemon Trainer with their Pokemon, or multiples of either.

Speaking of which, there are several subjects to which I usually work with in RP. The biggest being Pokemon. I'm up for (almost) anything, Mystery Dungeon, Ranger, or just being a normal Trainer is completely fine with me. Other interests include Digimon, Star Wars, and various other subjects that would be too numerous to name here.

Brent's Party: Cyndaquil
Lily's Party: Chikorita
[Vertigo City - Pokemon Center]

As the group came into the crowded cafeteria, Devon noted that the way things ran in Viore were a bit different than in other regions. "Well, other than our little problems, People and Pokemon in Viore generally like to give each other a helping hand whenever they can, even if it's too complete strangers." Brent would go on to say as they grabbed some plates and grabbed a few pieces of food from the counters.

"That's really awesome." Lily said, looking around her. "Ya know, it's kinda crowded in here, why don't we go outside and eat? It's such a nice day anyways." She said, Brent looking around them. "Doesn't look like we've got much choice." He said as he watched the last table fill up with a group of incoming trainers.

Heading outside, it was significantly quieter and emptier than the room inside. A few tables had a couple trainers chatting together, save for one blue haired girl sitting alone in the shade of a giant oak tree. Lily looked over and started over herself, walking to the other side of the table. "Excuse me, mind if we join you? You seemed kind of... alone." She said, the girl before her looking over. "Huh? Oh, yeah, sure, I don't mind." She replied, shaking her head as if to focus. "Sorry, I was just thinking... My name's Alicia by the way." She said.

"Nice to meet you Alicia, I'm Lily. This is Chikorita." Lily replied, holding up her grass type partner in her lap. "I'm Brent, this is Cyndaquil." Brent said, sitting next to Lily with his partner jumping up next to him.

Luna Muuya and Bryce Crest
Luna's Party: Torrent the Popplio, Flake the Vulpix, Hound the Rockruff, Sola the Bounsweet
Bryce's Party: Moss the Swampert, Striker the Manectric, Maya the Flareon*
[Vertigo City - Pokemon Center]

After rushing the injured Rockruff inside, Nurse Joy quickly took it into the back to treat its wounds. Luna watched through the window as Joy X-Ray'd the injured paw, before continuing to treat it. She sighed before turning and taking a seat as Bryce walked in. "I saw what happened out there. Looked pretty rough, so I thought I'd come see how you all were doing." He said, with Maya and Striker behind him. "Nurse Joy's working on him right now, he should be fine she said..." Luna replied, Bryce nodding and taking a seat next to her.

"My name's Bryce by the way... Look, I've been where you are before, feeling helpless as you have to watch your Pokemon be in pain." He said, Luna closing her eyes. "Yeah... it's hard... knowing I wasn't paying attention either... I could have prevented..." She started, Bryce cutting in. "Don't think about what could have happened... that's always the worst part. You can't change the past." He said, Luna looking up in surprise. "I guess... thanks... Bryce was it? I'm Luna." She replied.

Back outside, the chimera was attempting to comfort the Alolan Vulpix, albeit unsuccessfully. With a sigh, the Ice Type separated itself from the group, taking a seat in the shade facing away from everyone. <Flake...> Torrent said sadly, Sola giving a sigh. <It's really been hard for her to adjust...> She said, looking over at Silvally. <She's always been... difficult to read. She wasn't born Wild, and she wasn't always with us.>

Torrent nodded. <Yeah, I remember too. She belonged to Luna's Grandmother, she raised her from an egg. Those two were perfect together...> Sola continued. <Sadly, Luna's grandmother passed away a few months ago. Apparently she gave Flake to Luna in her will, something that humans make when they're close to... well... dying... I'm not really all too sure...> Sola said, turning again to look at Flake. <She's always calm, quiet, but I don't think that's really her.> Torrent said.
Well that took longer than expected to write... was having a hard time picking the right wording.
Dustin Coleman and Luna Bishop
[Colorado, U.S.A.]

After grabbing a small snack and drink after their return home, the two children sat down in front of the computer as Dustin booted it up. "Well, what should we do anyways? Just look up on Google 'Strange Phone Thing That Came Out of a Light and Spoke To Us', or what?" He asked, looking over to Luna. "Well I don't know... what about those dreams?" She asked, Dustin taking a minute to think. "That doesn't get us anywhere... I doubt there's anything about monsters having some kind of war that isn't sci-fi." He replied.

As he opened up the internet browser, the strange devices lit up, and almost automatically the search engine was filled with different text. "What the..." Dustin said as he looked through the different words. "Digimon? Digital World... Council... War... Chosen Humans?" Luna read aloud as the text ceased, and the web page suddenly changed, the screen being enveloped in color, like a rainbow. "What's happening..." Dustin said as the devices in their hands lit up brighter and brighter.

"I don't know, but I think they want us to hold them up to the screen!" Luna said, looking at Dustin. "Why do you say that?" He asked. "Just a feeling... but hey, what's the harm?" She asked, Dustin nodding. "Alright, let's see what happens." Holding the blue device in his hand towards the screen, and Luna holding hers the same, the light became blinding. Suddenly their bodies felt weightless, and as the looked around themselves they seemed to be in some kind of yellow tube. Before they could even begin to question what was happening...

"THUD."

The computer which the two had been in front of powered down. Nothing but empty chairs remained in the room. The children had been whisked away by a strange power, thrust into a world they would know nothing about...

[Digital World - Sector 50]

What felt like hours later, the two children finally began to awaken. Dustin pushed himself up off the ground, rubbing the back of his head. "Ouch... I'm never listening to you agai..." He started, opening his eyes and looking around him. "Uh... Luna... please tell me I'm still asleep..." He said, shaking the girl next to him as she roused. "Come on, it's a Saturd..." She stopped mid-sentence, gazing at the world around her now. "Wh-where are we?" She asked.

"Good, so I'm not the only one seeing this... OW!" He said as Luna drew her hand away. "What was that for?!" He said angrily. "To make sure you were real, and this was real... OUCH!" She cried out as Dustin did the same. "Okay, so we're both real, we're both awake, and we both have no clue where we are or what just happened..." He said, feeling something under his hand. Picking it up, he found it was the strange device from before, only it seemed to be working now.

"Well we still have these things..." He said, Luna looking down and spying hers. "Yeah, and they're on now... or something... we still have no idea what these things are either..." She said, trying to get a grasp on the devices. Dustin was on his feet, surveying the surroundings. It was beautiful, like a scene from a movie. Colorful plants and trees, with water everywhere. It looked like what one would describe as paradise.

Selena the Bayleef and Ember the Quilava
[Team Horizon - Folio Town Guild]
[Folio's Trunk - Town Path F7]

While Ember seemed unfazed by the realization of what the object was, Selena was slightly alarmed and cautious as the group started away. "Was that really an Awakening? Not some other Emera or something?" She asked, looking at the Shiny Kirlia. "And who were you talking about, and why?" She continued.

Ember looked over her shoulder as the room fell out of view. "That creep isn't following us now, at least." She said turning her attention back to the front. As they entered the next room, Ember quickly spotted something out of the corner of her eye. "Hey, look, another one." She said, quickly pouncing and collecting the gem. [Ember Found "Clairvoyance"!] "Wait, so what do I do with it again?" She asked. Sighing, Selena replied. "Put it in one of the notches on your Looplet." She replied.

Ember nodded, putting the Gem in the Looplet on her paw. Her eyes flashed for a moment, and she seemed out of it. "Woah, okay, this is wierd... I can see... things... like... Xray Vision or something..." She said, glancing all around her.

Fuse the Luxio and Hikari the Luxio
[Team Daybreak - Folio Town Guild]
[Folio Town - Folio Guild]

The two's conversation was cut short when they heard a commotion outside. Turning quickly to the entrance to the guild, the two watched as the Scizor and Nidoqueen attempted to assist a badly injured Pokemon, who in the growing light was shown to be a Typhlosion. As Teth attempted to help him, he pushed the arm away weakly, forcing himself to stand up straight. "There is no time!" He would shout again, his eyes looking between the Scizor and Nidoqueen.

"I... I recognize you two... even now... Stein... Teth." He said, his gaze unwavering. "I remember when you two just joined the Guild, as a Scyther and a Nidorina. Have I been gone that long, that you had forgotten your old mentor?" He asked, an object he kept iron clasped in his hand being shown to the two. It was an aged Folio Guild Badge. "But, Glyph is with Glyde? I must go, there isn't a moment to lose." He said, turning and starting to head down the street.

The two Luxio would emerge from the Guild, looking at the Door Guards as the Typhlosion attempted to leave. "Hey, guys, do you know him?" Asked Fuse. "Yeah... it seems like he really knows you..." Hikari replied, equally curious.

Omen the Absol, Serenity the Sylveon, and Krystal the Glaceon
[Team Sanctuary - Valiant Village Guild]
Folio's Trunk - Town Path F8 -> F7]

Stepping down the stairs to the next floor, the team came across a strange Absol who seemed to be attacking a Gligar holding an Emera of some kind. "Hey!" Omen would shout, trying to get the strangers attention. "What are you doing to that Gligar?!" Serenity would say angrily, moving into an attacking position next to Omen. "I don't know what's going on, but I feel like this is going to be a fight first, ask questions later kind of moment." Krystal replied, moving to the opposite side of Omen as her Sister.

As the Absol behind them continued to make himself seem less and less trustworthy, the group was caught by surprise as a Pokemon divebombed Devon and took the item he had found. Even more, Lilisette was enraged, and immediately moved to confront the would be attacker. This caused the two to jump in to intervene. "Devon! You okay?" Ember said, running over to the downed Totodile and helping him up.

Selena focused on Lilisette. "Easy, he's not worth it. Just let him keep it, there's bound to be more around here." She said, standing next to the fuming Kirlia as she looked over at her.

Fuse the Luxio and Hikari the Luxio
[Team Daybreak - Folio Town Guild]
[Folio Town - Folio Guild]

After leaving the Town Square, the two Luxio headed straight to the Guild, where Fuse directed her to the Crew Rooms. "This is where all the Guild Members live. Not the most spacious things in the world, but it's... home..." He said with a hint of sadness in his voice. Hikari noticed this as she followed into his room. "Since we're a team, we'll be staying together... so we'll have to get an extra bed for you. I'll let someone know about that." He finished.

Continuing on through the Guild, they stopped at a small storage room. "Since you're an official member now, we need to get you some basics." He said, grabbing a box with the Folio Guild Crest on it. "Consider this your starter kit." He said, handing it to Hikari.

She opened the small box, and within it would be an Official Folio Guild Badge, along with a new Treasure Bag, and a Looplet. "Huh, so you have to get most of your own supplies yourself?" She asked, Fuse nodding. "They give the basics, then you do the rest. We all work together for that." He replied.

Omen the Absol, Serenity the Sylveon, and Krystal the Glaceon
[Team Sanctuary - Valiant Village Guild]
[Folio's Trunk - Town Path F8]

As the group neared the stairs, they were stopped by what appeared to be a travelling Pokemon. Omen took a glance at him for a moment, then turned away again. "No. Haven't seen him." He replied bluntly, Serenity giving him a piercing stare. "Omen, what have I told you... I'm sorry, mister, when he's in a Dungeon, he's not the most sociable Pokemon. But no, I'm afraid we haven't seen anyone like that." She replied.

"Well, I think I might have... when I came to the Guild before, I think I saw someone like that in the Guild." Krystal said, looking over to the Dark/Ground Type. Omen rolled his eyes and started forward again. "Well, that sounds like a good place to start. I hope you find him." Serenity replied with a wave of her feeler, before she and her sister picked up speed to catch up to Omen.

[Folio Town]

The figure was careful to avoid being spotted by the locals, he didn't have time for any distractions. He had to give his warning before it was too late. He kept to back alleys, with navigation of the town's streets that only a local would know, until he finally popped out in front of the Folio Guild. Breathing a sigh of relief, he trudged onward as he approached the guards. "I need... to speak to Glyph... there's no time..." He sputtered, his body showing clear signs of trauma and malnourishment.
Introduction
[The Digital World]

"I had a dream. That one day the Digital World would hold no fear of the unknown, of the darkness that crept in every corner. To fulfill that dream, I set out on a journey to grow stronger, and gather allies to help me on my quest." A voice said. "For many months I traversed the farthest reaches of the Digital World, growing stronger each passing day. Slowly I began to find those who shared the same dream as I, and we began to travel together."

A brief pause, then the voice continued. "Soon our group had grown, and together we trained and grew stronger, stronger than we would have ever been apart. We faced trials and evil together, and achieved what none before had. We had united the Digital World, and ensured an era of peace and prosperity. We worked from then on to keep that peace... but it was never to last..."

Visions in the form of a kind of slide show begin to appear. "The Harmonious Ones showed me the destiny of many different Digital Realms apart from this one, each unique yet suffering the same fate. Eternal Darkness would reign, until a light of hope in the form of strange creatures called Humans, who were paired with, or sometimes even became, Digimon. I knew then what I had to do."

"I began to create devices, with the aid of the Harmonious Ones, that could be sent into the Human Realm, as a last resort in our worlds darkest hour. Most of my group sided with me, but one swayed from our path, and eventually broke ties with us, believing Digimon able to protect their own world without outside intervention. While we brushed it off at first, we never realized how deadly the consequences would be..."

[Fall of Sector Zero]

Four figures stood together in a small room. As it shook from an explosion overhead, three looked towards the fourth before them, who held several small devices in their hand. "Now... now is the time... our world is in anarchy, and we are powerless to stop the fighting without taking countless innocent lives. The fate of our world... is out of our hands." The figure stated, the devices floating from their hand and shooting out into the night sky in beams of light.

"What do we do now, Alphamon?" Asked one of the three figures. "Omegamon, Imperialdramon, Dukemon..." Alphamon replied, as a figure entered the room. "... Susanoomon." The four raised their weapons and prepared for combat, as more Digimon began charging the room...

Dustin Coleman and Luna Bishop
[Colorado, U.S.A.]

It's the middle of the night, and two children are fast asleep in their beds as two lights seem to phase through the single window and circle around them. As they circled, the children would experience a most peculiar dream.

Although separate, they both experienced it from the same point of view. It was War. Strange Creatures did battle with one another in combat to the death. The scene shifts to an eerie image of a massive figure, and shifts again to several small floating devices. One of which would fly down to each of them, before everything would go black.

[The Next Day...]

The two were up bright and early the next day, as they went for an early morning walk through the woods near their house. These were Dustin Coleman, an orphaned child who had fallen under the care of the Bishop Family, and Luna Bishop, the biological daughter of the Bishops. Although they weren't related by blood, they treated each other like siblings.

"I had the weirdest dream last night, ya know?" Luna said as the two stopped near the base of a massive Oak Tree they would often climb. "Same here. It was kinda freaky, these monster things were going at it with each other..." He began, Luna looking up at him dumbfounded. "... And a strange shadow figure thing?" She asked, Dustin looking back surprised. "... And some weird phone thing flying into my hands..."

The two were speechless. "There's no way... it wasn't... was it?" Luna asked. Dustin shrugged. "Dunno. It's kind of a blur, now. Whatever." He replied. "Whatever? What do you mean by that? Isn't it a bit strange to you?" She asked. "I've heard stranger..." He started, then stopped and pointed behind Luna. "... I'm not the only one who sees... that... am I?" He asked.

Looking behind her, Luna would jump up from her seat on the root of the tree as two strange lights, one Purple one Blue, were floating in midair on either side of the tree. "Okay... now this is getting scary. Let's get out of here..." She said, Dustin stopping her. "Wait. Let's figure out what these things are..."

"Luna. Dustin."

The voice came from nowhere, the two kids falling silent as their gaze fell upon the two lights.

"Our World is in Great Peril. We Have Searched Far and Wide For Those Who Can Help Save Us. You Have The Power Within You. Will You Help Us?"

The Lights began to change, and eventually they formed into strange devices like those seen in the kids dreams. Looking at each other, the two kids wondered what to do next. As curiosity gained the upper hand, Dustin reached out and took the device out of the air. Looking it over, it didn't seem to do anything. Seeing the lack of response, Luna grabbed the second one. Again, nothing.

"What are these things? I've seen them before..." She said. "Yeah, I saw them in that crazy dream last night." He replied, shaking it. "I wonder if anyone else knows anything about these." Luna said, Dustin nodding. "Yeah, let's go look on the internet. Maybe someone knows something on there." The two started heading back for the house, in hopes of discovering more about the strange devices.

Digimon
Genesis

"In a Civil War, there is no winner. Both sides have lost, as they are the same side, pitted against one another. Is that a life we want to live?"

The Digital World

The Digital World was once a peaceful realm, where the Digimon lived under the protection and governing of a group known as The Council of Five. Comprised of the most powerful known Digimon, they ruled with a just hand, and would fight to the last breath to protect their world.

However, the leader of the council knew that they would not be enough to protect their world forever. After speaking with the Harmonious Ones, the leader learned the fate of many other Digital Worlds that existed, cast into darkness until freed by the light of Chosen Humans, creatures from a world parallel to their own.

The leader of the council then decided to follow a similar path, and began to craft several devices that would be sent into the realm of humans at the time of their need. The council agreed on the course of action, save for one. Susanoomon. He believed that Digimon are strong enough to protect their own world on their own. As time passed, he became disillusioned with the council.

The day came when the Council's plan neared completion, but Susanoomon would have it no longer. He cut ties with the council, and sparked a Civil War between the Digimon and their ideals. As the war reached the remaining council, they knew now was the time, and initiated their plan, sending the numerous devices into the Human World, before turning to face their former ally.

Today the Digital World has changed. Following the Defeat of the Council at the Hands of Susanoomon, it was divided into 50 Sectors. Civil War still rages, with those who follow the council struggling to combat against those who side with Susanoomon...

"United we stand, divided we fall, reunited we are undefeatable."

Factions of the Digital World

The Digital Army
The largest faction in the Digital World, they fight for Susanoomon, the one who turned on the Council and began the Digital Civil War. They are filled with powerful Digimon, ranging from Rookie to Mega and those in between. Betrayal is met with swift punishment, and often execution by Susanoomon himself. This group despises the Humans, and seek to capture, or destroy, any who they find.

The Resistance of Light and Hope
The smaller of the main warring factions in the Digital Civil War, this group remains loyal to Alphamon, leader of the Council of Five, and the Council. They believe that the Humans possess something that will save their world, and want to protect that power with their lives. Their goal is to defeat Susanoomon and their forces, and to find the Humans brought to their world.

The Neutrals
These are Digimon that refuse to fight in the Digital Civil War. They have refused to choose a side, and live out their lives as normally as possible in the different sectors of the Digital World. However, many times push comes to shove, and they are forced to pick a side. Although both the Digital Army and Resistance acknowledges their neutrality, there is little they can do when conflict finds them.

The Unknowns
These are Digimon that hold no allegiances to the Digital Army, nor the Resistance, but still actively participate in the Digital Civil War. Their ambitions are unknown, and little is known about who they serve. However, they seem to play both sides of the conflict, as if they want the war to continue...

"Some take it upon themselves to do what they cannot. It is only after they have seen past the lie that they can see the truth of the situation."

The Humans

The Humans chosen were chosen for a reason, for traits that each possessed. Because of this, they were brought to the Digital World and bestowed a device known as a Digivice. The device would turn into the color that best suited the trait that they possessed and were chosen for. How they used that trait, and sometimes discovered it for themselves, would be up to them to decide.

As for partners, there was not time to find or create Digimon suited for them, so they would have to find a Digimon who shared their feelings. Sometimes, with a little help from the Harmonious Ones, it would not be as difficult as it seemed. Only together could the Humans free the Digital World from its darkness.

Rules and Guidelines

Try and keep things PG. Cursing/Swearing is allowed, but keep it low on graphic sequences.

Drama IC is acceptable to an extent. Drama OOC is not acceptable and should be taken to a PM.

Death of characters is a REAL possibility. It doesn't just have to be due to inactivity, any character at any time could be killed for any reason, so be aware of the situation!

I'd personally like to stick to basic Digivolutions (Standard, Warp, DNA), and staying away from stranger/special Digivolutions (Armor, Biomerge, Ancient Spirit, Fustion/Xros). However, I may be lenient if the idea is good enough.

While I don't expect immediate posts, posting frequency is a serious factor I consider when accepting RPers. Keep that in mind when posting a Character.

Basic Guild Rules Apply. Remember to be cool like the Fonz.
