Indeed, @Speedwagon, we still have one spot left.

As for the rules, they are actually quite simple, and our group is generally more than happy to help out with learning the ropes on the go.

If you wish, we can do any questions in PMs if you wish.
That would be correct, @Tearstone ;)

Imagine what happens if it is not the writer that decides the course of the story, but the main characters and their own silly, if even random decisions.
That said, although the last session ended with the party blowing up their own rowboat with an accidental fireball(while on the river AND while still in it), they have been reasonably successful as of late. The level of "Heroic action" typically boils down to the decisions of the players, and their luck with the dice. Poor decisions coupled with bad rolls can make for more comedy rather than epic heroics, after all!

As for the theme of the RP, it actually can change quite a bit depending on where the party might choose to venture. A trip into the cursed kingdom of Tristan for instance might introduce some dark fantasy, whereas a journey into the independant farming republic of Erenia might feature a more happier setting(as long as nothing really bad happens!).

We mostly use voice chat. Ideally, we'd use video, however we ran into a lot of problems/connection issues when we last tried, so for now we only use voice.
(both our voice and video is done on Skype)

As for myself, I can't say I'm that familiar with the pro/mentor grade status on Roll20, as I am for the most part a surface user. You should tell me something about it.

(Sorry about the late reply. I've not been on much lately, and I almost forgot this thread existed after 18 days)

Ohh well, I decided to just make a picture of Captain Serphia to kill some time :D

I felt she deserved a pic after all this time, and also allowed me to try out a new facial construction style and added rain to increase the coolness factor ^_^

You really have talent, Rithy!
And it also looks like quite an improvement over the old one, even. That's some fast progress!

It's good to get a view on our dear old Captain! As badass and bodacious as I imagined her!
@POOHEAD189

Good to see that that people outside are still interested and occasionally looking about at our little roleplay, despite its chaos and shenanigans ;)
And that's a brave promise *Looks back at the tonnes of text written*

(Just bear in mind though that we are not recruiting new members as of now)
Not to be the cynic here, but given the situation in Europe as of late, it was quite predictable that something like this was going to happen. Too many idealistic goals from EU, combined with a lack of action from it as well, has helped weaken its relations with its stronger members.

There's good and bad in all of this though.
While Brexit marks a clear blow to Europe as a whole, it might also serve as a wake up call and reality check for EU.
And even though a group may choose to leave the EU, it does not mean that they can't return at a later point once policies have been improved.

We're at a dark point, but I'm sure that if the proper actions are recognized (and taken), the EU might still return stronger than ever before.

Alternatively, it might all come crashing down and might see a return to the pre 19 political anarchy in Europe, further fueled by greater ethnic divides, in a new epoch of strife, but I choose to be positive :)

@rivaan, @Sinerathin

While we are waiting for a postie from @Feychild, I went ahead and made a drawing of Rithrynn :D

That's quite impressive, Rithy! I didn't know you could art, let alone that good! :O
@Sinerathin@Rithy@Feychild

That's quite some impressive pen work you got there ;)

And I wouldn't worry about the awkwardness in this RP. It is solved quite easily by the chaos/violence that inevitably seems to follow such moments!

Sharon let out a big sigh in return as he listened to the pink haired Night Elf's defense of the Draenei.

" ... is she drunk? Or High?"

There was a pause in which the High Elf moved his head to the side so that he could get a clearer look up at Naliyah for a moment, just to look at her and study her expression. Alas, despite his suspicions, there was no sign of Naliyah being either drunk or high, at least not to any significant degree.

Instead, it seemed like the source of her weird behaviors was just... well, just Naliyah being Naliyah.

"Look, Naliyah, we don't bed the agents of evil, we... " Sharon started, only to pause for a moment as he rethought his words.

"I mean... we do not team up with the agents of evil, no matter how good or ´sweet´their promise may be! This Draenei, this Death Knight, she is only going to seek to manipulate you! If you follow her, you may never get to see Rithrynn! It is... "

As Sharon was leaning a little bit backwards whilst talking to Naliyah, he could not help but get a glimpse past the pink haired Night Elf only to see Vashi and Meirie as the two of them were just walking down the stairs towards the atrium, only to then notice Malizia standing in the room!

"Oh shii... time for damage control!"

"Naliyah, let's discuss this later! Just... go play with the rest of your sentinels in the meantime!" Sharon then quickly urged Naliyah as he began to push her towards the nearby living room, giving her a slap on one big buttock before he turned about to look at Meirie and Vashi as they were walking down.

Malizia, in the meantime, had also noticed the two newcomers, as her eyes immediately darted over to Vashi and Meirie, but more particularly, the latter, giving the other Draenei a smirk when she saw her and muttered:

"Nice to see you again, sister... "
*Sharon uses "Reason" against a Night Elf*
*Hopes it actually works, ignoring past experiences*
“I don’t think I caused that?”

"I don't think you did either... " Sharon uttered with an utterly stoic face as he simply gazed at the secret conversation that was going on between Naliyah and Malizia, as he simply leaned in slightly towards Liaena.

"I think it is quite simply a completely naturally occurring harmonious relationship between two equally devious minds when they are put in the same room."

Sharon reasoned as he looked at them, silently shaking his head as he did so. Obviously there was a big difference between Malizia and Naliyah, first and foremost that the aforementioned was a Death Knight and an unholy killing machine. Even if Malizia might have had a secret kinky flair similar to that of Naliyah, Sharon found it still difficult to imagine that this could ever be the basis of a partnership, let alone friendship between the two!

"We need to nip this unholy alliance in the bud!"

As Naliyah turned around to speak to them, presumably on behalf of Malizia, Sharon was quick to step forward, reach an arm up to Naliyah's shoulder, and attempt to pull her down as he walked off to the side, giving Liaena a look indicating that "she deal with the other", as Sharon brought Naliyah off to the side line.

"Sentinel Naliyah, if I could just have a word... or two, with you, about your new friend." Sharon started, pulling Naliyah further down

When suitably far enough away from Malizia, who at that point was staring directly down at Liaena; with no Sharon or Naliyah to stand in between; The High Elf continued on with his little 'dialogue' with Naliyah.

"While I am all for seeing you make new friends; and I think, trying to befriend a Draenei, even a Death Knight at that, is very progressive of you; I would like to remind you that the woman you were talking to IS in fact an agent of evil. A Death Knight, a harbinger of death and woe, a spreader of disease and darkness. She is not just evil in the grey sense, like 'all orcs must die!', but in 'the whole world must die!' kind of way, and I think it is important that we stand together against her! Whatever devious things she may have promised you, it's not worth it!"
“Magic then, and potions. They both sound good”

"Right, on 3!" Sharon replied, beginning to move his fingers as he prepared to chant a spell.
" 1, 2... "

*CRASH*

Sharon had not expected Naliyah to suddenly drop both him and Liaena, as the elf turned to face her new contender! Crashing into the floor and landing on his back, Sharon's spell would fizzle out in a screen of blue smoke that emanated from his hands, and he'd let out a groan of discomfort!

" ... or we could do that! ... owh!" Sharon gasped, leaning back up from the ground as he looked towards Liaena, who he had managed to halfway catch with his left arm, as to at least avoid her head slamming into the ground. Although from his perspective, he could also see that a slight strip of hair on the left side of her hair had gained a light blue color from the miscast spell.

Though Sharon, with his best judgement, would refrain from mentioning anything of. At least not yet.

"One disaster at the time!"

"Are you alright, Liaena?" Sharon asked with a concerned look over at Liaena. Part of him realized it was a pointless question, considering that Liaena was a survivor, both of her own reckless experimentation, and more than a year long friendship with Rithrynn, and so a simple fall was unlikely to do anything much to her. Still, it was the thought that count!

In the meantime, Silje, who was now standing in the open, right in the line of sight of Malizia, would take a step to the right to the right, positioning herself behind Kathlin and whispering to her: "Can't we just run and contact the city guard?!?"

"You know, for a Draenei; and a Death Knight at that; you're not that bad!"

Malizia peered down at the only-slightly-shorter Night Elf standing in front of her, after her two friends had turned and run. The Death Knight simply returned the smile, placing one hand on Naliyah's shoulder, and leaned in to one of the pointy ears between her pink hair to whisper: "You know what, why don't we team up? You help me get the affection of the two human girls, and I'll return the favor! With your smarts and my brawn, we'd make the perfect team!"
