A few seconds after Aviza leapt down into the hole, Zhevon followed. A second thump was heard as he leapt down as well, taking the fastest route down. They decided that Aviza would take point after Stukov, who had run off and left the group behind. Adrianne was rushing Aviza along, with Zhevon following closely behind, occasionally taking a glance behind them. Once they reached the area, Stukov was in pitched battle against a Daemon.
Several more then appeared, approaching Adrianne and Aviza. Zhevon moved in to intercept them, but saw the body of a daemonette flying towards him. He ducked, nearly dodging it, not wanting to waste the movement, he slashed at the ankle of the daemonette he was going for, connecting and forcing it to fall over. He saw Stukov dashing towards the Cultist leader, with a glow to his eyes, and moving far faster than any unaugmented human could. "What the?" He asked nobody in particular, "Follow him, make sure he doesn't hurt himself." He said to Adrianne and Avize, "I'll hold the Daemons here." He forwards to the cluster of Daemonettes and kept them busy with a series of dodges and parries, feinting weakness. Once Aviza and Adrianne had left to follow Stukov and the Cultist Leader, he drew them into the ritual room. Zhevon, mid dodges, glanced around and took stock of the room and his opponents. Five Daemonettes, one with an injured leg, and several noticeable totems of some sort in the room. By now the walls between the materium and immaterium were undoubtedly weak in that particular room.
"Inspector, really Boss? If we are not the best armed inspection crew I have laid eyes upon, I could hardly say. Which way do you..." Stukov stopped midsentence, he aimed raised his rifle into the ready position, "Call me crazy, I got a bad feeling about this place. Reminds me too much of the last Cruiser I served on, so with all due respect Boss, I am taking point. Your life outweighs mine in worth. Can't have gangers ambushing you again."
Zhevon stared at Stukov, he was uncomfortable with the thought that his life was worth more than others. Nevertheless, he let Stukov lead, taking them close to the sounds of the heavier machinery. While the first floor had a considerable amount of machines, it was mostly assembly and packing. Being not very loud. Smaller factories like this typically had their heavy duty equipment and machinery underground, doing most of the work, then finishing up the product on the first floor, where it could be easily packaged and shipped out. Adrianne then confirmed the presence of Chaos, underneath them. Presumably in the basement. Zhevon thought this odd, that Stukov could pick the sense up before Adrianne, who was a trained Psyker. With the team on high alert, he spoke up, "Looks like we're heading into the basement area. Stukov, lead on."

As M4R1-A watched the worker, it saw that he went into the restroom. It then investigated the break room, where the rest of the workers were. The well lit room had several screens for playing entertainment programs, vending machines, chairs and tables. Most of the workers were either playing cards or watching some sort of sports.

The basement seemed normal, like another level of the factory. Albeit with heavier machines, refrigerated sections, dials and conveyor belts. However a trapdoor would be seen in the corner of the basement. Leading down further into some sort of underground base with stone chiseled walls, where eviler things dwelled.
Hmm, debating another post, or wait for Skyrte. Might wait for him, since all Stukov is doing at the moment is fixating on the pressure wave right now.

I'll be getting a post up tomorrow, so you can post again if you wish.

I can jump in anytime I want as well, right? I'll make a post as soon as I can then. But for Charlie and others, do you want them to look like someone specific? Or can I make up their appearance?

Alpha likes hats and trench coats, while Bravo is wearing typical Arbite stuff. For everyone else you can make up their appearances.
Is there anyone around capable of giving me a summary of recent events? And what would be a good time for me to hop in? Thanks in advance.

Eisenhorn gave a pretty good summary, as for jumping in, I'd say anytime you want. There's a guy in a safehouse with the codename of Alpha, he can direct you to our current location.
Another guy, posing as an Arbite, going by the name of Bravo, can drive you there if you wish.
Charlie, Delta, Echo, etc are not introduced yet, but are additional people.

Looks good enough. The 13th Black Crusade is still in the middle of ongoing though.
Put it in the characters tab

New maps for the fun factory time to detective again
"Quiet right up until someone starts shooting at us. We also might want to avoid another hallway of statues, you know, considering the track record with those so far..." Stukov remarked just before the Valkyrie landed,
"I don't believe they will nest in a factory, it is far too loud there, they enjoy quiet places." Zhevon replied, "Another type of daemon comes to mind, one that enjoys noise. But as long as the factory remains active, they should remain docile."

As they were moving to the factory, with Stukov taking point, Adrianne commented about the sickly atmosphere of the industrial district.
"They can't import everything, and some businesses make their profit on locally made or grown products." He reasoned, "Although they could have been more... Ecological." He looked up at the darkened sky, making out a sunrise in the distance. Stukov then spoke up.
"So, for subtle, landing a Valkyrie and disembarking like a raid team was subtle, sure as sure. Hope the factory equipment was running, sharp ears might have heard otherwise." His voice came through the vox,
"Even if they noticed us, Stukov, I'll send M4R1-A on aerial overwatch of the factory property. If anyone attempts to leave the perimeter, we'll know about it. And get a high-res footage of them as well... " Adrianne assured the Armsman,
"Heavy trucks and shuttles go to and from this district all day and night, it would take a trained ear to distinguish Valkyrie engines from all of the noise." He added, "...And if there actually is such an ear, and we get ambushed, we know then that this mystery owner does not want to be bothered. Grounds for bothering him."

Once they reached the Factory, they stacked up on a side door. Adrianne waved her staff over the entrance and unlocked it, opening it at the same time with her powers. Zhevon made a note of that. He put his hand on Stukov's shoulder and stepped forward, meaning to take over as pointman. As soon as the group stepped through the side entrance, a worker stepped around the corner and saw them. The mask wearing, apron clad worker froze. An awkward second passed.
"Inspection." Zhevon said, breaking the silence.
"I-Inspection?" The worker asked, confused, and wary.
"Uh... Yes. The last factory I inspected turned out to be a ganger front. Better to be prepared, right?" Zhevon quickly made up.
"Right. Uh... Do you need anything inspector?"
Zhevon turned his head slightly and then looked back at the worker, "Is there anything strange about this factory that differs from the others?"
The worker scratched his head, thinking, "Well, sometimes we get a notice that everyone will get a paid holiday, usually a day or two before the actual holiday. The factory is then manned by a skeleton crew, the machines put on half speed to ensure there are no accidents or malfunctions, and the skeleton crew is paid overtime for however many hours they put in. Today is one of those, usually we have some 50 workers in here, but right now there's about 10 of us."
Zhevon looked to his retinue, then back to the worker, "May we walk around?"
"Yes of course Inspector. I really need to use the restroom, excuse me. The rest of us are in the breakroom if you have any questions."

Is this still open for applications? I have a 40k character I've been dying to use, and ATM this is the only active 40k RP I can find. I also have a question: Are custom Imperial Homeworlds/IG Regiments allowed? My character relies heavily on a custom world/regiment. Don't worry though, all their gear and tech is strictly Canon.

yeah sure

Good times will be had from that Galvanic Rifle. I can imagine him hitting something with it for the first time and it detonating into an electric blast. He will be very surprised, no doubt.

We can find one in Act 2 or something, I get the feeling we'll find most of our late game stuff in Act 2 anyways.
A galvanic rifle is absolutely OP
Which is why we should give him one. Maybe not right now though, but eventually.

Also classes have started up again, so I'll be busy mondays and wednesdays. I'll get a post up tonight.
<Snipped quote by Eisenhorn>

In which case it perfectly suits Adrianne's character, what with her preferring to forego safety for EXTRA POWER!!

The Galvanic Rifle sounds cool and all, but will it really be effective versus anything other than an electrical target/robot? :P

They turn potential energy into electric energy, so what ever is standing still or moving slow will get killed by lightning pretty much, in addition to the bullet.
I like the new mechanicus stuff.

I don't know what my role in the team would be. I guess with my flamer, I could clear places out? I guess I'm more of a close combat specialist.

Also, I can't bring Duff to missions then? :( @Skyrte

I'm not entirely sure.
