☕About Me☕
Hello to whoever is reading this, I hope you are well and if you aren't hang in there, it'll get better ^^
You can call me Star or Fox if you'd like, I have gone by many names throughout the last forever of the internet. My username no longer really fits me but I have an identity crisis every time I try to think of a new one so it stays for now.
I`m a college student studying accounting, I also have a degree in media and design (animation, photo editing, graphics, marketing, exc). This year has kinda thrown me every which way so much of my time is all over but I try to write as much as I can. I do have a full time job on top of school.
☕I`m a bit of a coffee addict.
♀I`m female and I prefer she/her pronouns. I also prefer to write female characters in a FxM setting.
🌟I`ve been roleplaying for over a decade now.
⏳ I try to get posts out as fast as I can but my life is a bit chaotic, and I don't think it`ll slow down anytime soon. It makes it hard to respond straight away. Usually you may see a while between my posts, I do the best I can just as I expect from the people I write with. So please be patient with me, I really enjoy writing with people.
❤Romance in roleplays is nice but instant romance is unrealistic and most of the time really boring. I like it when characters gradually fall in love, it makes their relationship interesting.
👌I'm a very happy-go-lucky kind of person and very uncensored, I will cut through the bullshit, especially if it's late. I'm also a kluts, I trip over flat ground quite literally. My roleplaying style is much the same way, I write how I perceive situations. Making great literary choices is a top priority, but we're all human, it's not always going to be perfect. My responses will be as interesting and as thought out as I can make them though.

P.s. I exclusively fade to black.

I hope to write with you soon, don`t be afraid to send me a message ^^

Skylar Montgomery

Personal Information

Name:
Skylar Jane Montgomery

Nickname:
Sky

Birth Date:
October 28

Age:
22

Gender:
Female

Sexuality:
Heterosexual

In Depth Appearance:
Unlike the slim figures of all the other women in the Montgomery family Sky got more of a curvy figure. Along with being 5"2 and having unusual grey eyes it was safe to say she stuck out a bit compared to her four sisters. Freckles dot her face and body being something she loathed as a child and something she`s come to find as apart of who she is as an adult. The sun is usually an enemy because of her pale skin color. Her hair is naturally brown and is curly and thick, currently dyed silver. She`s learned after cutting it short once that it`s best to leave it long, it`s a untamable beast. When it comes to make up she would rather skip it for a more natural look, though she does like lipstick and being dolled up occasionally.

  • Often stays up way too late at night.
  • Has absolutely no filter a majority of the time.

Personality:
♦ Determined ♦ Energetic ♦ Warm-Hearted ♦ Understanding

Even as a child most people said she was far beyond her years and as she reached her teen years people started to say she was the wise old woman in a teenager`s body. She tries to understand someone before she says anything against them. This leads to her being very trusting and understanding towards others. The advice she gives to problems is usually a lot more than someone her age should be able to give. It`s also one of her biggest downfalls as others can betray her quite easily. In all she`s rather quirky and lightheaded, someone could tell her something and she`d forget it in two seconds. The lightheadedness has always been something she`s hated because while she`s very smart no one can see that with how forgetful and sporadic her nature is. In sad situations she feels rather uncomfortable, because while she tries her best to comfort someone she always feels like she`s doing everything wrong. Even though she looks down on herself a lot she does have confidence in her decisions and she believes that believing in yourself is the best thing you can do. The strength she found on her own is what helped her survive on her own. The determination that she holds inside her heart is what drives many of her actions, whether thought out or not.

Background:
In her family there`s five daughters, Sky being the youngest. Meaning her childhood was full of hand-me-downs and often being misplaced. Her oldest sister Delilah is seven years older than her. The second and third daughters, Mary and May, are twins and are six years from Sky. Jamie who`s the closest to Sky at only two years apart. When Sky was born her parents had been hoping to finally have a boy. She`s always felt like her father didn`t approve of her because of this. The Montgomery family is known for being a very rich and successful family in the small town she grew up in. As she grew up she had trouble trying to convince people she wasn`t a snob like they tried to make her believe. Many people bullied her for her intelligence and the difference of her looks compared to her sisters. Even her sisters would laugh and joke about how she was adopted. It really did make her feel like she had no one, her parents were always working, and it was very easy to just isolate herself in their huge house. Due to all of this she fell into depression and at some points self harmed.

In high school she got involved in a lot of bad groups. She often snuck out to get high or drunk with people she thought were her friends. It wasn`t until she was almost 17 that things went completely downhill. At a party she overdosed unintentionally. If the cops hadn`t broken up the party a few minutes later she would have died. In the hospital her family didn`t have anything nice to say to her and only yelled at her for being so irresponsible. They sent her off to a clinic for 6 months and she was released when she turned 18. Instead of going back to her family she broke off all ties to them. She got a job and lived in a small apartment till she finished high school. She saved up money and moved to the city to go to college as soon as she had enough. It was a step by step process.

In college she met Luca and Jacob, they quickly became her family. They were different from the people she`d known in her past. It wasn`t a game to fit in, there wasn`t any bad influences that`d only hurt her in the end, they were simple. She`d needed simple. The age gap between her and them wasn`t a concern at the time and it wasn`t long after meeting Luca that they started dating each other. It seemed like their trio was going to be the thing that concreted her life officially. At least that was what it felt like at the time.

As classes got more difficult and job opportunities started showing for the two boys she started to almost get left behind. Her and Luca argued more and saw each other less as stress took over, and Jacob became her venting buddy. One night after not sleeping for close to a day and a half they kissed. Immediately she regretted it. No matter how much they argued she loved Luca. She never got the chance to explain this to him before everything came crashing down. The trio had died, and split their separate ways.

It took years to reassess herself and get the control she craved in her life. Between traveling the country and finishing college either on campus or online she eventually stabilized herself in the city, as an independent young woman. No ties to her family, nothing holding her down. In this she found that she was content in her simple life.

While she has moved past the horrible things she did in the past, a piece of her died in that apartment back then, and now meeting Luca again. She knows its reviving itself in an uncontrollable way, perhaps something beyond her is what she needs to understand it.
Enjoy this super long post for my absence!
(Honestly that is my usual length but I`ve been being a bit unmotivated, I blame life.)

I`ll start working on the OC sheet soon.
The apartment was calm when she woke up, everything was in it`s place, as it always had been. The large window next to her bed shone sunlight over her and a good chunk of the apartment. It was a new day, the start of a change. It was making her nostalgic. This was her home for so long, it was comfortable.

It was time to leave however.

Getting out of bed she made her way to the small kitchen and opened the cupboard above the sink. Removing the coffee canister she brewed a cup in the coffee pot. As always she took to her old routine of making coffee and sitting with a book in front of the windows look out of her apartment. It was a calming activity in the morning. It kept her centered. Sky wasn`t much for yoga or any strenuous exercise in the morning. That sort of stuff felt good after but she never felt motivation to do them. She worked out as much as she could a week but it wasn`t essential to her daily needs. Perhaps the synchronization may fix that. Maybe Solace enjoyed activities that are a lot more active in nature.

Once breakfast was done much in the same fashion, it was time. Sky packed up all she could, kill her she really didn`t like the idea of people that she didn`t know helping her move. It was going to take a few hours to get everything packed. The majority of it was mostly knick knacks that she had collected over the years. Some held sentimental value, such as a friend or loved one giving them to her. Others were things that she had picked up along the way. In her travels she loved the different experiences verse possessions. Every now and then she picked one up, but most of the time they were things that most people wouldn`t choose. One of her favorites was a necklace given to her by an old woman in a bakery. When she had taken residence in the town for awhile it had become a place she visited often. When she announced she`d be leaving soon, the old woman had given it to her as a parting gift on her last day.

The necklace had a simple black leather chord, at the end was a beautiful glass pendent. It shorn with swirls of varying blues and clear glass. Her husband was a glass blower so it was truly something she`d cherished over the years. It was a gift of love. There were other treasures, but that one was one that she kept safe.

It took awhile to pack all of it, she contemplated calling Luca to help, after all he had offered, and she did know him. If she called there was no doubt he`d come, but that was also why she didn`t. There was a lot he didn`t know about her anymore and the things in this apartment showed some of the ways she`d grown. It was important to learn more slowly, packing her stuff with him might reveal more than she`s currently comfortable with. Not to mention that she`d grown a hell of a lot more independent anyway, her own stubbornness wouldn`t let her.

Around 1 in the afternoon the movers came and helped her move everything out. Once it was empty she took a moment to take everything in and leave. She returned the key to the tenant supervisor of the building and proceeded to drive back to her new home. An email had alerted her this morning via her phone of what home she`d be staying in on the grounds. The movers would already be moving everything in as she got there.

Luckily they had parking in an overhang next to the residential area. It made it not too much of a journey to the house. Even so, she doubted that she`d be seeing much of her car in the coming months. Who knew what side effects she`d be experiencing. If a bottle of medication told her not to get behind a vehicle, than it probably wasn`t an awesome idea to do so after undergoing a sync with a past ancestor!

It was late afternoon turning evening by the time she had a livable set up in the house. Even though there were boxes everywhere, she had to say, having a bedroom separate from the rest of the living space might be kind a fun. Right now she was getting tired but not nearly too tired for what was to come. She was ready to sync! If that still was tomorrow, well she`d have to wait, but if they were getting down to it tonight. She was going to have a blast!
Ei, I don`t have the money for it but it seems super cool!

Do you have any preferred layout for the CS? If not I`ll just use a regular format I have. I probably will make a CS for both characters as well, but just have Sol`s ready to post when the characters finally dive. Gives a bit of mystery to them until then~
I`m down for doing a character sheet, I`ll need a little time to get it done, but yeah.

Also what program is that? It looks really cool! Everything is really neat and tidy.
So I was afk for a very long time, my new job kinda got me entangled. They`re trying to move me up the ladder very quickly (meaning better opportunities for me) and so I`m having to work really hard to establish myself well. I`ll be sure to post more than once every week and a half but there might be a few days in between posts for the time being.

I also am continuing to formulate ideas. I still have the ones for Sol, but I`m slowly getting ones for Sky. The initial interview they both had is going to play a bigger role later on when things get rough. I hadn`t thought about characters in the process till now and so now I`m excited to figure out some key players, as I expect from you as well. (I just now realize I`ll also have to research Abstergo a bit more as well =/)

Anyway! I`m here and alive, and I`m ready to continue. Sorry I was suddenly so gone!
A smirk ghosted her lips, "Tomorrow our lives change forever, whether we like it or not." Her eyes lit up at just the thought as she bite her lip. There was something exhilarating about letting your entire life change. She loved her quiet life, the life that caused time to stop, but it was boring at time. It was the same, she was stuck in time. It was time to break free, grab fate by the reins, and do something with her life before she was married and old awaiting death`s cold embrace.

Sky walked out of the staged house and made her way home. The drive home was uneventful, but her blood was pumping. Hell she was still scared shitless, but this was it. Her life was going to change forever. This was going to be the start of a new metamorphosis. There was one you go through at through high school, college, and into the world. The Animus was going to trigger a different one, she knew it, felt it. They`d never be the same after all of this. "The world might not be the same after all of this."

Wow!

Where`d that come from!?

"Everything will be alright, I`ll learn the secrets of the past. I`ll be fine, Luca will be fine, everyone will be okay." This was what she told herself anyway as she made her way back into her apartment and got ready for bed. Tomorrow she`d have to rent a truck to move all of her stuff. Abstergo Industries would terminate her lease, and she`d live on their grounds along with Luca while the project went on. The job she currently had would be told by Abstergo that she was presented with an opportunity so great that they were doing a service to the industry by letting her join them for the time being. In the meantime she would sleep and wake up in her apartment for the last time. Enjoy her full freedom for the last time in awhile.
"No, I`m going to go through with it. There are some things worth taking risks for, this is one of them. Very few people will ever get the chance to do this currently and I want to know my ancestor. Know her time. Who knows, it might give me insight into who I am." She was nervous of course, but this was something she had to do. If she didn`t do it, then she feared she`d regret it her entire life.

The risks of her health were dangerous to say the least. There has always been a guinea pig in history. The first people to go into space were guinea pigs. The first people to discover radio active waste were guinea pigs. They were guinea pigs. There always has to be someone to do it. To take the hit for everyone else. This technology could help the future. Therefore it was important that they did this. People may look at them as engineers of their time centuries from now. Who knows.

"Well I probably should get back to my apartment. I reckon that the first dive will be as soon as we get completely settled, meaning I have a lot of moving to do." Sky said as she turned around to start walking out the door before turning back to him. "Your phone number, is it still the same? You know in case I need to contact you about moving or anything." The more time they spent together the more they`d learn about the last few years. No one ever said it had to be in a day though. The mystery was half the excitement, wasn`t it?
"Well if I`m going to be here as long as I expect us today it shouldn`t be that bad." Sky said as she walked back over to him. "I appreciate that. It shouldn`t be too much stuff honestly. This place is bigger than my current one. Not sure how I actually feel about that honestly." It was a lot of change in an instant. The mental part of this was already setting in. The physical, well she still had a second before she was living here for who knows how long.

"Do you think it will hurt? The animus I mean." Thought whirled in her mind like a tornado on the subject. They were going to be put into a machine and have their thoughts and genetic code read, it didn`t sound painless. "It is rather intimidating. We`ll be reliving a different age. A time we can only imagine will be at our finger tips, it`s such a strange concept." The silver haired woman walked up to the windows. "I can`t help but wonder if it`s going to hurt. They don`t seem completely confident it`s safe, yet here we are."

She`s never even been to Italy and now she`ll relive a life so long ago right in the middle of Sicily. It was strange to think about. How long would they be in these machines? Would a few days in there be minutes in their present world? What of Sol? What kind of person was her ancestor? Was she like her in any way? So many questions, so many answers to find. The pain was certainly a factor in what it might be, but it was exciting. The life of Sol had an importance just as Luca`s ancestor did as well. They probably wouldn`t be able to talk about their ancestors. Everything was to be kept a secret. "It`s the excitement that outweighs the negative I think."

In all honesty she almost couldn`t wait to find all of it out.
