Those damn teenagers, always crawling in their skin.

@LPFan Those wounds, they won't heal, man.
Oh, my bad. I'll make a quick edit! 8)

- Finished the edit.
I was thinking of changing the rp to full, but just wanted to know how old the character was going to be.

Personally, I don't think one of the three characters from last night should have been accepted. I mean, just look at their CS, and the post they just made. Seriously?

I get that character variation is important. But to suddenly make a steep age limit a requirement, with the other option being rejection, was uncalled for.
Maybe it should've also been applied to the recent applicants as well, then.
Walter Pierce

Sure enough, Walter's suggestion of going back to assist Ethan and the remainder of the group was unnecessary; they were coming into view shortly after their short discussion on the next course of action, and the man sighed in relief upon seeing that they were okay. He was a little uncomfortable from how tightly Alex had held on to his shirt in disagreement, but he held his contempt of the action.

It was a reasonable response from the man, and it was simply Walter concerned over their group, especially after what had happened to their home in the mess of things. It was almost difficult to maintain the degree of collectedness that he normally demonstrated throughout the times, and the loud shots that rang out in the distance had only made it harder. Fortunately, his worries dissolved quick, and he stiffened a smile.

He nodded to Ethan, looking past him to see the others and quietly perform a head count to himself. "Yeah," Walter replied, pointing a thumb behind him towards the boarded house. "It's occupied, like it looks. Alex said there's a woman with a baby in there."

With the newcomer arriving alongside Nikki, Walter was short of interest, blinking in slight suspicion during his introduction. He had heard that the military was still operating in small pockets, as scattered as they were. "Fancy," he joked, having always respected the military, even if the apocalypse was ongoing and order was nonexistent. People like themselves would work to reestablishing it, after all. "Good idea. Let's..."

Walter caught his tongue on the last few words, tilting his head in curiosity as yet another unfamiliar face was approaching. "Another one?" he raised a hand to rub his forehead. As if Alex telling him about the woman with the baby was not surprising enough, the nearing woman was flanked by a dog.

Looking between the group members momentarily, Walter took a deep breath and decided to assess the situation himself, his fingers arched along the knife at his belt. "You lost?" he stood some feet away from her.

Walter Pierce

Reuniting with Alex came to Walter as an immediate relief, letting out a sigh as his eyes continued to study the boarded structure before him. He listened to his fellow survivor, pointing back towards the road. "Bits of the horde is moving, it looks like. Some got us back there, and Darren's gone," he told Alex when asked where the others were. "Now some kid's shooting a storm, you hear that?"

Walter knew that all of the gunshots meant trouble for their remote location. The horde that overran their former sanctuary would turn to them, attracted by the noise. When Alex told him of the boarded house being a place to stay, he bit his lower lip at the mention of a woman and a baby being its residents. "You said a baby?"

The man wondered just how those with younger children had survived the apocalyptic nightmare for this long, much less, an infant that relied so much on its parents and could put them in instant danger with one cry. "We'll see later," Walter began to turn back. "Let's go help the others."
U@josephb I would probably have him follow, I had a hard time posting last night because of the technical issue of not hearing a 50. Cal Barrett sniper rifle even if it was surpressed you can still hear that beast a mile away, and only a few snipers in the world can get mile long shots. I know it's a fantasy story but I still like realism in it, anal I know. So I was having a hard time deciding to ignore it or bring it up in the rp. But while debating something came up and I couldn't.

Any who sorry I'll just have him follow.

Yeah. I don't usually post in OOC, but this is something that grates me a bit, as well. I'd much prefer realism, but it's a little ridiculous, I agree.
