Hello and welcome to Age of Amalgam. This RP will be based in a universe that is made up of both DC comics and Marvel Comics with a few surprises along the way. There will be direct amalgams from the comics and there will be some that I create. This particular world and settings are separate from the comic amalgam world. I will pull so direct lore and make up some of my own.
Players, what I expect from you is to have fun. If you have an issue with something please address it with me personally and we will resolve it or it becomes canon in this world. This does not mean dispute everything but you can with in reason ask about some things. Everyone will have the chance to make at least one character and up to two additional ones if they wish. [NOTE: Playing a character that has a symbiote bonded to it counts as two characters for now unless otherwise specified.]
Posts, on posting I am not stickler but also keep in mind we wanna keep the story going. At first things I know will be slow but the ball should get rolling fairly quickly when everyone either meets or the ugly rears its....well own head. A couple of things, if you haven't posted in sometime or the general energy is people wanna keep moving myself or a co-gm can move the story along without you. It is to no disrespect of you or anyone else if things are moved forward. Second, we have a discord and it is there for you to chat and have fun as well as to let others know when you post, if you cant post, dropping, or just need a break for a while. It is not for calling other players out, getting pissed, or being rude. If you have an issue bring it up with me. Grammar is not something I will nit pick. If i can read it and understand it then ok. If another player says something in discord about something you've written then please don't get unset. Again take disputes up with myself or a co.
The world as you know will a huge landscape but it is our stage. Start from anywhere on the planet you wish but not in space unless you give me a really really good reason. This RP will have many different settings one of which will eventually be space and if someone has not reached their character limit they will be allowed to make a new character then. If they have reached their limit they may have a character killed or removed in a way fitting that will be a collaboration of the gm and or co as well as the player of the character. The world may also change randomly as it has been created from a Perfect Storm Event. The event in question on the marvel side of things will be the Thanos snap of which Doctor Strange effects with his magics and on the DC side of things a Flashpoint. These two events happened at the exact same times wrapping their respective realities to the point that the veil between the two comic universes collapses.
Some of the combinations you will see:
Corporations and Groups-
Wayne Corp- A combination of Wayne Tech and OsCorp. This company is headed by Norman Wayne as its CEO and covers most of the east coast with its name plastered on buildings that work on everything from bio-engineering to the latest tech available on the market. Their head office is in Gotham Island which is a combination of Manhattan and Gotham. This company normally doesn't care who it sells to as long as they come out on top.
Stark Labs- The competitor to Wayne Corp that dominates most of the was coast focuses on the same things Wayne Corp does but with the edge of having their CEO Dr. Harrison Stark be one of there leading physicists and technological engineer. The company has several government contracts as well as aerospace companies developing the latest in space stations, space ships, and defensive technology.
AEGIS- ARGUS+S.H.E.I.L.D., this group is the protectors of the USA from threats foreign and domestic as well as from space. Funded and ran by Dr. Stark as well as the government. Agents are trained to handle any situation and are equipped with exo-skeletons that enhance their capabilities past that of a normal human.
Avengers Academy- School for mutants+Avengers initiative, this institution helps young mutants learn their normal things such as math, sciences, reading, etc. but also helps them learn to control their abilities and develop them. Funded by Harrison Stark as a form of redemption.
League of X- Justice League+X-men, the first graduating class of mutants formed a group that has ties to the government but largely works on their own. Taking the name League of X after their mentor Professor Nick Xavier.
Legion of Hydra- This organization is one of evil that encompasses most villains around the world, they act as a sort of supplier for all villains they can deal with as well as recruit into their ranks.

Nick Xavier- Charles Xavier+Nick Fury, Head Master of Avengers Academy, but is currently in a coma for unknown reasons.
Maria Grey- Maria Hill+Jean Grey, acting Head Mistress of Avengers Academy, JX member, also known as Wonder Phoenix.
Barry McCoy- Barry Allen+Hank McCoy, professor at Avengers Academy, JX member, also known as Speed Beast
Clark Kenneth Worthington III- Clark Kent+ Warren Worthington, owner of the Daily Trumpet news paper, JX leader, also known as Super Angel.
Ororo Curry- Ororo Munroe+Arthur Curry, JX member, Teacher at Avengers Academy, also known as Mother Nature.
Shiera Drake- Shiera Sanders Hall+Robert "Bobby" Louis Drake, JX member, private investigator, also known as Snow Bird.
Victor Von Luthor- Lex Luthor+Victor Von Doom, Leader of the Leagion of Hydra, Also known as Dr. Brimstone
