@Raijinslayer I've always wanted to see Barcelona, but maybe we could operate within the laws of physics and I could take you guys to the frozen tundra which I call home, aka the Midwest. Maybe not my hometown, but Chicago and Minneapolis need to be seen at least once.

I've never been in anything remotely like your situation and can't imagine how it must feel, so I won't attempt to comment on that. My lack of experience might make me useless at giving you any meaningful advice, but what it can't express at least my appreciation of you as a person can. Akaya, you're an amazing friend and I'm so sorry this is happening to you. I know it isn't much compared to the painful situation you're in, but I support you and think as much of you as a friend who only knows you via the internet possibly can. Thank you for being here for us and being strong enough to keep us updated even through this awful experience.

@Kronshi I'm sorry, I guess I've been in a real funk when it comes to coming up with good posts for Chromite for a while. I won't let it happen again, please try and forgive me okay? I mean, this isn't on you guys and I don't like to bring up my personal stuff here, but things have been kinda bad for me irl and I'm at possibly the lowest point mentally I've been in a year, it's been challenging to write like I used to, but I'll work hard on getting back to my earlier level of quality because you guys deserve better.

Chromite nodded at Bloodstone and followed him, ready with her lance and ready to shield them if necessary. As they moved away from the young gems and toward their subjects, Chromite remained silent. She wasn't disappointed exactly, but she wasn't as well-suited for diplomatic missions as her commander was, and it seemed fairly clear that that's all this would be. She merely stood there inconspicuously, ready to back Bloodstone up if need be. At the very least, her presence there would hopefully make it cleary that Bloodstone commanded some sort of authority.
