Current I need to stop trying to get back into role-playing right before having a baby. I should know better by now. A lot better, but afraid to start new stories because I keep unintentionally ghosting.

Finally recovered from postpartum depression and ready to get back to being creative! My apologies to anyone I ghosted in my time of trial. I didn't understand what I was doing.

Bio

Well, you seem to have stumbled across my user profile. I'm assuming you're here for a reason? Perhaps looking for details on this user StarfrostedFox? ... You can just call me Autumn! C:

I have been role-playing off and on for the last 20 or so years, which is surprising to realize, and I find it a relaxing and enjoyable hobby. After an accident that left me blind a little over 15 years ago, I couldn't role-play for quite some time, which was rather devastating. About the time that Apple invented Siri, I was able to get enough money to be able to purchase my very first iPhone. And BAM! The world of role-playing was once again open to me. It has been a long process getting used to dictating stories and I inevitably don't always catch every single mistake, But I have learned a great deal of patience and realize the value of taking things slow and working through my text when something doesn't sound completely right. It was only a couple of years ago that I came across this website and the stories I have had here have taught me a lot about myself. I love to create. Role-playing is one of the only outlets I have for the images in my head. So though I may have a tendency to go through cycles of depression and being antisocial, I always seem to come back in the end.

I love stories involving fantasy, supernatural, adventure, mystery, even romance. There probably isn't a genre out there that I wouldn't give a try before I will say that I don't like it.

My favorite style of role-playing is, hands down, one on one. It helps me feel more involved in the story, gives me a chance to be able to talk with the other person involved in a much more casual way, And more often than not results in a long lasting friend and some of my favorite adventures.

I have a tendency to write on a casual to low Advanced level throughout my stories, the minimum coming out to an average of a couple of paragraphs. I just have so much in my head that I want to get out, I have a hard time writing anything less. Another consequence however is that I can't seem to find a lot of patients with story partners that give me a really short and undetailed response every time. It's discouraging to take the time to write out several detailed paragraphs only to get a sentence in reply. If you're here thinking of asking me to do a story, please keep that in mind.

I do not tolerate swearing, extreme Gore, or sexual content in my stories. Period. Nor do I role-play same gender romantic relationships. That is just not going to happen.

If you made it to the end of this and I haven't scared you off, I think you deserve some virtual cookies. Heck, go get yourself some real cookies. Or donuts. Or pie if that is your preference. It was just me rambling away about myself after all. If you aren't scared off and you were indeed here looking to get a story started, feel free to shoot me a private message. I'm always looking to make new friends and have new adventures.

Anna’s initial yelp of surprise had provoked a soft chuckle from Cinead, though his smile didn’t return in full. He simply enjoyed the weight of her body on his, the sound of her breath, her heartbeat...

When she spoke again a moment later, her voice pulled him back from the edge of sleep. He hummed in agreement before the sound broke into another deep chuckle that vibrated his chest. “ indeed. Especially since I had made a Val with myself not to tell you about being a dragon only the week before.” His Voice suggested amusement, Welsh lilt strong. Although a moment later, he sobered, eyes opening just enough to look down at the top of her head. “ are you sure you are all right? I’m worried you might be going into shock...”
The rest of the drive home had been rather uneventful. Both Nami and then Yuki had attempted to engage Moku in a conversation, the first attempting to gauge the girl‘s current state of mind. But she had nearly mumbled one word answers, Avoiding looking at either of them by staring at her hands, and they quickly gave up, giving one another a worried look before lapsing into silence. The only other conversation that had occurred before they returned home had been win Nami called a local restaurant and placed an order for them to pick up in time for dinner. Yuki had frowned a little at this, but he wasn’t going to volunteer to make dinner. Neither of them were very good cooks...

Before dinner, Nami had suggested that she show Moku where she would be staying, just in case the girl decided to take some time to be alone in her room for a little while before they ate. And the young woman was just in the middle of explaining about this when a voice had drifted up the stairs.

“This is going to be your room. We opened up the windows to let it air out a bit, so it shouldn’t be too stuffy. And over here is the...” Nami’s words slowed away into silence as a soft hello drifted up to them, head turning towards the front entrance. But before she could answer, a second voice joined the first.

Yuki scowled. “Looks like that stupid cat decided to show up. I sure hope he’s not breaking anything.” He sighed, shaking his head as he started down the stairs.

With a brief glare in the direction the banging was coming from, Yuki managed to clear his expression into one of politeness by the time he made it to the bottom of the stairs, looking towards the figure that stood there with a suitcase by her side. He blinked once, had Nami forgotten to tell him that someone else would be moving in, but otherwise showed no other outward expression of his surprise. “Mayumi. It’s been a while.” He said, offering the girl a small smile.

Behind him, Nami hesitated on the stairs, waiting for Yuki to move out of the way before stepping to the floor and walking over to the blonde haired teenager. She gave the girl a quick tight hug. “ i’m glad you made it safely. Did Kyo come with you?”

Quietly as she could, Moku trailed down the stairs after the others, casting a quick look towards the front door before sneaking behind Yuki and across the living room. She could feel a pair of eyes on her back, but made a concerted effort to ignore them as she padded softly into the kitchen. Glancing briefly towards the paper bags sitting on the counter that smelled strongly of rice and vegetables, she instead investigated one of the nearby cupboards, in search of a glass. She was still on the verge of tears and she didn’t want to start crying in front of the others just yet. She barely knew them... So, She wanted to get a drink of water. Water always seem to help her hold back the tears. It may have been the effort required to focus on drinking instead of choking, but whatever the case, it always helped.

After searching through plates, bowls, and a myriad of spices, Moku finally located what she was looking for and picked up the cup from one of the shelves. She hoped Nami wouldn’t be too upset with her for going through the kitchen cupboards uninvited. She worried quietly to herself as she moved over to the sink, running the water until it was cold and filling up her glass. Turning her back to the sink, she rested there, concentrating on taking a long gulp of water.
Cinead willingly enough smiled for Anna, The corners of his eyes crinkling with the expression. But as soon as she stop taking pictures, the look slipped away, though hints of the smile still remained in his eyes. He rubbed his chin over her curls once again before quite abruptly tugging her up into his lap before laying back on the couch himself, holding her against his chest. Head propped against one of the squishy throw pillows, he closed his eyes, releasing a soft sigh of contentment.

“...No more pictures tonight. There will be plenty of time for that in the future.” He murmured softly.
I’m looking forward to it!
Only a heartbeat after her whistle had faded, Jax stepped around the corner, a rather intense looking expression on his face, causing Celinny to start with surprise. She found herself scowling for a moment, opening her mouth to chide The man on carelessness of showing up too early, when something in his countenance had her stopping. The look on his face wasn’t quite angry, but her instincts were screaming about danger. She froze.

He stared at her and she stared back, heart pounding against her rib cage without seemingly any cause, while wildly, but completely silently, flailing around in her head at the cause of her sudden alarm. Why was it now, when she needed logic an understanding the most, that her brain suddenly felt empty? It abruptly made her feel like a mouse that was staring down the snake that wanted to eat her... She almost blinked with comprehension, a look of wariness replacing the initial surprise. Was that what she was feeling? That Jax was about to kill her? Before she could unravel the mystery of his expression, do much more than tense her muscles to take a step back, the look slowly melted off the captain‘s face.

“Hi.” The Word finally burst out of him abruptly, quite unexpectedly.

Hi? Celinny finally did blink, eyebrows drawing together. Hi hadn’t been what she had been bracing against that expression turning into. And even more surprisingly, a moment later, color started flooding Jax’s cheeks before he tilted his head back, taking a deep breath.

“...Good.” Celinny responded to his statement of readiness a moment later, somewhat hesitantly. Then, like a duck shedding water, her outward discomfort fell away, replaced with a grin. Mentally, The young woman tucked her suspicion into the back of her mind, not completely eliminating it, but not focusing on it at the moment either. “Good,” She repeated in more of her usual tone. “I’ve put The guard to sleep, so we’ll just need to sneak out the side door and start heading towards the stable.”

With one last brief look over Jax’s face, the thief then pivoted on the spot and started briskly up the stairs, steps almost silent.
Aww! I’m sorry to hear that your week hasn’t been that great. That’s never any fun. I hope that things start to look up really soon and if not, I’m always here to talk if you need it.

You’re welcome. I’m glad you liked my introduction and that my character is already liked. I’ve had her in my head for a little while now, so I am excited about the idea of flushing her out more. I’m about to go over and take a peek at your character, thank you for posting his profile, and I’m looking forward to his introduction. But really, take your time. There’s no rush. I’m not going anywhere. At least, I’m not planning on it. :)

Also, Sorry I didn’t get back to the private message. I’ve been busy the last couple days. And tired. So I’ve been a little out of it.
“Ah. I see.” Cinead responded, watching interested Lee as Anna started to line up her shot. “ I wondered why there were lenses on the front of the phone. Now I know.” He chuckled softly, the action only coming through as a deep rumble in his chest. “ what do you need me to do?” He then asked, watching The miniature versions of himself and Anna on the screen of her phone.
Awesome! Thanks! I don’t think you specifically referenced the kind of accent. At least, it didn’t show up when I did a search for Scottish. It’s Welsh now. Goes better with his name, which is actually welsh itself. :3

Edit: Wow, duh! His name is Scottish after all. I feel silly now. Oh well. I’m not changing his accent back. XD
When Anna leaned away from his back, Cinead finally pulled the black t-shirt still crumpled in one of his hands over his head, tugging on the edge until it fell into place. Then he tucked the woman next to his chest, gently resting his chin on top of her head as he watched her sort through the photos she had taken. He hummed in satisfaction, rubbing his chin over her curls. Then she pulled far enough away to look up at him, asking him if he knew what... something was. He blinked once.

“Self... fee?” He mumbled tiredly, even more exhausted after the rush of adrenaline he had gotten after discovering his mark. “ what are we charging?”
I hope you don’t mind if I go back through the story and change Cinead’s accent... Scottish doesn’t really suit him as well as I thought it would. ^_^;
