Beer is liquid bread. Pop-tarts are ravioli. Corn dogs are Popsicles. I will not be explaining.

Bio

Haley ★ 24 ★ Taurus ★ EST ★ Casual Level Group Writer

Welcome fellow writer. I go by many names, but you can call me Haley or pretty much anything else. I stick to causal level groups here on the forum. I have a soft spot for thunderstorms, dark humor, strong coffee, animals, pretty words, feminine rage, mythologies, and all things that go 'bump' in the night. I've lived in the same small southern Appalachian town my whole life, and aim to travel one day. I'm open to the occasional random conversation, but please do not message me asking to write one-on-one; it's simply not something I do these days.

Can he narrate my life please?

Lmao, sure.

Working on that Ariel post now.
Oliver & Raven

Oliver had spent the afternnoon lazying about by the window while working on his homework. He had heard rumors of Santiago's party, but was still on the fencee about it. Until the one and only Raven knocked on his window, scaring the living hell out of him. With a roll of the eyes, he let the girl in.

Most would find their friendship unusual. However, Raven was a close neighbor, their parents were friends, and Raven had a soft spot for drama and coffee too. What worked, worked.

"Get your shit sand lets go," Raven said.

"Oh darling. I just get all tingly inside when you take controll like that," he responded, causing her to roll her eyes this time. "But where are we going?"

"Why the Devils Lair, of course. Booze, drugs, drama. You might even get laid!"

"No. But in an outfit like that, you sure ass hell will." It was true. A shirt that low cut and shorts that short were bound to turn somebody on. After his response, Raven proceeded to more or less drag Oli out the window.

It took the pair a total of ten minutes to get to the party. Once there, Oliver began to take pictures with his phone while making his way over to the drink table. Raven walked over to join a group of her friends.

Huh. I didn't know that Ariel has a crush on Kavi and Jordan. I swear it wasn't planned.

Fair. Should be an interesting post though.
Working on the Ray/Oli post now. Should be posted soon. Gonna try and post for Ariel too.
Can we all agree he's a hottie?
Both of Ariels crushes just walked up to her like it ain't shit.

Damn y'all. xD

@Hushed Whispers Also hi! ❤
Why did little billy drop his ice cream cone?

That went from 0 to 100 really fast. xD
So I'm sure you've all wondered my thoughts on the subject, seeing as I madee the topic. I'm probably flattering myself again.

I can't weigh in on nation, tabletop, or arena, seeing as I've never realy done anything here. I admit that I have heard some things about arena, but they haven't all been bad. I've actually always wanted to try my hand at arena.

Moveing on.

Free is a bit to fast paced for me. I actually was in one or two stories here way back when I first joined up. Super fast paced and I always had plenty to read through, but sometimes I wish they'd implimentt the collabs for those 5 page one liner conversations. My other issue is there's almost no character substance and/or development, which is a must for me.

Casual is my home. Decent pace, pretty well thought out characters, decentt stories. My issues here is that people tend to flake on ya. They'll make a chacter, post the intro, and then poof. I find it irritating to be a GM here sometimes. It's irritating to be a GM period. I will say that I have met some of the best people here.

I recently joined my first Advanced RP. It takess me more time to get through and write posts, but the community from what I can tell is really chill. I'd say it's 50/50 when it comes to the purple prose situation.
Slowly working on Oli and Trip posts.
We are all writers influenced by different authors and sources. We should take that into account before jumping to conclusions on “overly verbose writing is bad” or “minimalism is devoid of talent”.

This also deserves a cookie.

Couldn't have said it better myself for damn sure.
