Beer is liquid bread. Pop-tarts are ravioli. Corn dogs are Popsicles. I will not be explaining.

Haley ★ 24 ★ Taurus ★ EST ★ Casual Level Group Writer

Welcome fellow writer. I go by many names, but you can call me Haley or pretty much anything else. I stick to causal level groups here on the forum. I have a soft spot for thunderstorms, dark humor, strong coffee, animals, pretty words, feminine rage, mythologies, and all things that go 'bump' in the night. I've lived in the same small southern Appalachian town my whole life, and aim to travel one day. I'm open to the occasional random conversation, but please do not message me asking to write one-on-one; it's simply not something I do these days.

Everything, everything will be just fine
Everything, everything will be all right

Ariel wasn't sure why she had chosen to say hi to Marisol. The one thing that she did know was that she had made a mistake in doing so. It had been nearly two years since Ariel had dropped her now ex-best friend like a bag of wet sand, and she had regretted it every single day. The word 'hi' was most defenitely not her best choice to heal old wounds. She was pulled out of her thoughts first by Jordan, then Sonny.

Taking the cup of punch fromm Jordan greatfully, she pushed her hair behind her left ear and gave him a nervous smile. "It's a really long story... I just don't really like being touched." She took a deep breath, choosing to look him in the eye instead of at the ground now. "Kinda makes me sound like a freak, doesn't it?"

At Sonnys comment, the color would drain from her face. "I wasn't looking to start drama and I sure as Hell didn't mean to make Kavi mad. Or anyone else for that matter. Considering how he waltzed off to Nadia, I think he'll be just fine." Her tone would be slightly hostile, though she was pissed at herself, not Sonny. She wasn't about to stand her and be thanked for potentially hurting someone, either. Even if it was only mildly and said person was more often than not a complete and utter cuntwaffle. Kavi hadn't always been that way though...

Ariel found her attention being pulled away once more by an unfamiliar voice belonging to a pretty girl, addressing the one and only Jason - a boy who's name and mere existence always made her blood boil. Reason number one for Kavi being a dick? Jason Weaver, ladies and gentlemen.

Just like everyone else, Ariel seen Marisol beat up some random guy. If this was what all of Diablo's parties were like, she didn't see why people enjoyed them. Turning back to Jordan and taking a sip of her punch, she would shake her head, laughing slightly. "So is your first American party everything you hoped and wished it would be?"
I have numerous scars all over my body, one of the oldest ones being in the shape of a perfect triangle on the inside of my right ankle. I was ten when I feel off my bike, and my foot was stuck in the chain.

Ain’t life swell from a pretty little distance?
I don’t want to leave, I don’t want to stay
Why look twice at a beautiful existence?

Why Raven would ever drag him here, he had no idea. It was true he loved drama. It was also true he hated parties. To many people, not enough coffee. The music was annoying, though there was a half decent song every now and then. Oliver would admit that he was a little hurt when Trip snuck off to be with her other friends, but at least it left him enough spare time to take pictures of everything with his phone. He had gotten a few good shots, and thought that Johnny might just even appreciate them. Being the outsider just walking around with his phone did earn him a few weird looks, like the one that he had gotten from Bea, but he didn't mind. He was used to people looking at him weird. Or like they were angry. Such was life.

One of the best shots that he had gotten was of the Queen Bee's (April, Julie, and Channel) making their entrance. They really all did look stunning tonight. Everyone seemed to be having a good time, even the class president herself. Oliver wasn't entirely sure why she had chosen to come though. Hell, he wasn't sure why he had chosen to come. Oh, yeah, right. The drama. Except there wasn't any drama. At least until Ariel Grey had her little outburst, causing Oli to raise his eyes in suspicion. He was quite sure that Kavi Salvador would have had something to say on the matter of her actions, but instead he chose to walk away. Right over to Nadia, that was. It sort of pissed Oliver off, really. Not the whole matter with Ariel - Oliver didn't know her well enough for that - but the fact that Kavi had chosen Nadia as his next bit of prey. Oliver had always considered Nadia one of the best people at Kings Academy, and hoped that she would have enough sense to not let Kavi into her pants.

Stella seemed to be enjoying herself in the pool, and Lucas going in right after her. They'd actually be kinda cute together, he thought silently while making his way over to the drink table. He got there just in time to see the end of the before mentioned outburst, and seen Jordan brush Marisol to the side. Heaven knows the 'Queen' wasn't going to be happy about that. "Ouch," he said mockingly as Jordan began to walk away. "How does it feel to be sidelined for the emo nerd?" He laughed quietly to himself, taking a small drink of his punch.

At Sonny's comment, Oliver simply raised his eyebrows in surprise. He knew that Kavi had a record, but not that he had never been turned down. "About time someone knocked that jackasses ego down a few notches."
