Name: Ixveria Naberius (family and close friends know her as Ixy much to her chagrin)

Race: Pure blood devil
Ranking: King
Appearance: Ixveria is a girl with blonde hair and bright blue eyes. She has an above average stature in terms of figure. Beyond that she is of short stature standing at five feet. Despite that she looks younger than what she actually is as with most pureblood devils. Though she is older than what many know she is still considered a young devil in their society but still one that has earned her spot and experience.

Skills: Ixveria excels in art mainly painting and drawing. Though it is not as often used Ixveria excels in swordplay mainly with the use of a two handed long sword. Beyond that she is highly skilled in magic often resorting to fire magic.

Sacred Gear:N/A

Magic:
Fire magic: Ixveria is skilled with fire magic
Barrier Magic: She is able to create and conjure barriers that can take hits though it only lasts for so long and can be overpowered by repeated or a powerful attack.
Language: Due to her nature she has a solid grasp and can speak all known language
Illusion magic: Ixveria is able to use minor illusions and glamour

Equipment:
Emperors Brush - A paintbrush that Ixveria is able to channel magic through creating flaming attacks. Though it is able to change in size she has never used this yet.

Parasol - A red parasol she carries with her used for more than keeping sun out of her eyes she is able to use it as a channel for her magic as well.

Personality: Ixveria is a very artistic person having a view that contrasts greatly with her stern appearance and gives her a unique take on the world. In actuality she can be seen as lost in her own world when in fact she just sees it differently. She views herself as artist not a fighter that many portray her as. She would be the first to say she would rather spend time going to the theater and museums than training for battle and strategies for it. Though when the need comes down to it she can get serious but in the run would much rather prefer to live casually without worry. She can come across as eccentric but is a good person at heart who cares deeply for family and friends.

History: Ixveria Naberius is the heir apparent to the Naberius family a somewhat prestigious pillar clan among the devils. Born to as the heiress to the family a lot of pressure was placed upon her shoulders to live up to the name that her father and the leaders past has built for the family. However for her personally she could care less for that rather she seeks to expand her knowledge in art and the like. Despite this she grew up well off and despite pressure she did manage to pursue her own interests as well much to the servants chagrin and her father’s happiness. Art was truly her passion and she devoted a large majority of her free time in between lessons to the study and pursuit of her art.

As she grew up Ixveria was shown to have not only a strong talent for magic but for strategy as well easily being able to outfox those of her own age in chess matches and basic sparring matches. However despite this she cared little for things like that rather wanting time to pursue her interests which she did with a fervor learning new techniques and painting and drawing new ideas as they came to mind. Unlike many others she decided to forego going hunting for her peerage at first to first focus more on her studies and art. This lead to her being able to build upon her foundation allowing her to grow in strength. Though if one was to honestly ask for a reason on why she withheld on getting her peerage right away she would out right say that she wanted to focus more on her art for a bit longer before heading out.

Ixveria headed out for her peerage much later than others but due to this she was able to gain a idea on where she wanted to go. Rome was her first stop and while she may not have gained any peerage members while there she did gain some knowledge and training for herself. While at rome she was able to gain help from a devil family located there and through some dealing was able to combine her love for art into a battle style no one would expect.

When it comes down to her peerage Ixveria had no complaints on who joins just she had one single stipulation they must have chose their faith of their own free will. It was her belief that her peerage much shine much like a beautiful gem and true lustre comes from those who choose their fate freely. Her goal isn’t so much gaining power or showing off her might like most others. Rating games like others her goal is more abstract. She seeks to make her peerage shine the best they possibly can each being a masterpiece in their own right.

Other: Naberius is supposedly the most valiant Marquess of Hell, and has nineteen legions of demons under his command. He makes men cunning in all arts (and sciences, according to most authors), but especially in rhetoric, speaking with a hoarse voice. He also restores lost dignities and honors

A Dance Among Devils - DxD roleplay

This is highschool dxd inspired roleplay. It is set in an alternate universe in which some events may run parallel to those of the series, but the story will not follow the set events of the series’ canon. That being said, players are likely to and (within reason) encouraged to take creative liberties. Use of canonical characters or items may be permitted. However, this will likely be taken on a case by case basis as we utilize what we need to build our own narrative.

background info

The world as we know it is broken. Blissfully unaware to the truth of the existence of supernatural beings, humanity makes its way through the course of history. Unbeknownst to them, there was a war, long fought between three powers; God and his Heavenly Army, the Fallen Angels, and Devils. It raged for centuries with no end in sight. However, as time passed and each side suffered great losses along with the appearance of unprecedented intrusions on this great war, a treaty of sorts came to pass.

Humanity would be left to govern itself. No interference would be made by God or his heavenly army, though humanity would be free to choose who to worship and praise as they pleased. The fallen angels would be left to their own devices provided they refrain from any heinous activities. Devil would continue to rule over the underworld, although they would be able to play with the human world, much unlike the heavenly army.

This treaty, weak though it seemed, would come to uphold piece in the coming years for the three great powers. Still, this would do nothing to stop infighting among the devils. With so many of their royal and pure lineages having been destroyed or otherwise broken down, there was a struggle for power. Above the strife and anguish rose the Five Great Satans; Lucifer, Leviathan, Beelzebub, Asmodeus and Belphegor. Although not the originals, these five took up the positions, bringing order to the world of devils. In order to better manage their land and people, they split the world into five parts among them in which each Satan could assign smaller sections to peerages under their rule. And so order has been maintained, although for how long nobody can be quite sure.

This roleplay will primarily take place in the fictional Hiyo City which will be the primary area of interest throughout this roleplay. All names and places as of this roleplay will be treated as fictitious with no connect to real world people and events. The key location of the roleplay will be that of Shitenhoji Academy. More specifically, its high school branch. This will be the primary location for the rp and the tempoary location of the Heiress of the Naberius pillar clan.

In this roleplay players, myself included, will be taking the roles of the Naberius Clan. As you may have guessed, this peerage is comprised of the King, who has been tasked with gathering various evil pieces in order to build some sort of higher social standing. Together the characters must grow closer as well as stronger and traverse their new lives and find balance with their old lives. As such the core members of the family, revived through the evil piece system, take the roles of chess pieces; rook, knight, pawn, etc. Each holds its own purpose and abilities.
