Name: Snare Appearance: Imagine a strange crossing between Drum and Cymbal, with drum's body and head and Cymbal's horns, and wings. Age: 29 (Years alive) 93 (Total years including time between revivals.) Universe of Origin: 6 Race: Demon (Created by an Evil Creature, is a creature similar to Drum from Dragon Ball, who is normally described as a demon.) Gender: Male...? Personality: Extremely clingy and loyal, Snare normally is a bit doughy and gentle. When one of Snare's friends are insulted, or attacked, he flies quickly into a cold rage where he tries to destroy his opponent in an exceptionally painful or humiliating way, a hint of his demonic sadism.
A demon created by The Demon king of Earth (Their alternate history's King Piccolo), Snare is a remnant of their dark reign. Born shortly before the Demon King's rule, Snare was created to act as a bodyguard and loyal servant to the Demon King. In his four years of youth he followed the demon king wherever he went and watched over him, seeing him as a father and a close friend. He quickly grew to an exceptionally bulky creature, perfect for moving into blows meant for his master, and surviving them. At the age of five, Snare was the size of nearly three grown men, and had thwarted the attempts of many would be assassins, hired by the Demon King himself to test his bodyguard.
Eventually when his army was ready, the Demon King unleashed them upon the mortal world claiming his place as ruler of earth for a time. Naturally the forces of earth struck back against him with heroes and villains both seeking the Demon King's head on a platter. However unfortunately for them Snare was ready and did battle against would be adventurers seeking to end the DK's reign, or sneaky assassins seeking to collect the large bounty on his head. He came out on top with many close encounters as his foes were many and powerful. He quickly began to adapt, relying less and less on his natural physical prowess and focusing on magic and tactics to overcome his enemies, using the dark power his demonic heritage gave him to perform feats that even the Demon King was surprised with, never expecting his once dopey and happy bodyguard to grow into a magic user who valued tactics above brawn. Snare became the third strongest of the Demon King's forces, below one of his brothers and the King himself, although it was argued he might of been stronger than his brother, Triangle, the born assassin if only due to his magical aptitude, which his brother lacked entirely prefering raw Martial Arts.
Near the beginning of the end, a group of heroes had grown much more powerful and had actually killed several of Snare's brothers. Snare had expected that if any challenge would overcome him it would be them and not what happened next. During his battle against this rag tag group of heroes, Martial Artists from several schools, his master decided to do battle against one who was the prodige, a student under a master who long ago had assisted in defeating the Demon King in the past. As Snare and one of his brothers held off the others, a betrayal most foul occurred. Snare's brother, Triangle while fighting against one of the heroes shot an energy blast though his foe, the size of a quarter. This attack, while damaging to the human he was fighting was not enough to kill him outright, but that was not the intention. The beam was truly directed towards the distracted Demon King, who had been staggered by a surprisingly powerful blow to the stomach. Snare rushed from his battle, and moved in the way of the attack, crossing his arms over his chest to try to block it the best he could. He felt a burning pain shoot through his arms and chest, the taste of burnt flesh filling his mouth and noise as part of his windpipe was burnt out by the beam.
"Watch where you aim Triangle, you almost..." Snare begins, before he notices everyone looking in shock behind him as his wounds slowly healed. He turned his head to see that a dime sized hole had been burnt through the Demon King's skull, and exited his forehead. He shuttered, and shook before collapsing into a pile. Snare froze as terror and rage gripped him before words that would haunt him for years were hissed into his ears. "The king is dead, long live the king." Triangle than began his true attack, revealing he had been holding back against his foes to bide his time, apparently mercilessly killing the wounded human he had been fighting. He begins to gloat, about how he would now kill the last remnant of earth's hope for freedom and Snare, and claim the planet for himself. Snare than looked to the remaining earthling, and nodded in an unspoken agreement. They would work together to stop Triangle, and then from there would finish their battle.
The battle began, with Snare unleashing his magical prowess, restoring some of the energy and well being of the humans around him, even apparently reviving the human that Triangle apparently killed, who in reality had just been mortally wounded. The earthlings unleashed a vicious assault against the betrayer, while Snare was able to keep them from intense harm, utilizing his magical powers to keep them alive, and using his defensive techniques to prevent Triangle from landing a truly lethal blow on either him or them. As Triangle fell, eventually killed by his torso being punched out by one of the earthlings, Snare took a moment to relax. However, in the distance he saw a strange mushroom cloud, and an approaching wall of light. Snare grabbed the earthlings near him, and retreated as fast as he could fly with them. Shielding himself with magic, he felt an intense heat cover him, as several more walls of light engulfed him.
He awoke, with the earthlings he had tried to save in his final moments, in the afterlife....and for a time, for his turn to the side of good for the last moments of his life, Snare was given a chance to seek further redemption. From that moment on, for longer than Snare cared to count for, he worked within Heil (Home Eternal for Infinite Losers)as a guard and magician. His skills at thwarting assassins and wandering adventurers made him well trained for preventing prisoner escapes, and supporting the other guards in the rare events of riots. This lasted up until the eventual revival of earth, and those on it when it was destroyed by a great war. Snare returned to life took up a place as a guardian of the earth, having grown close to several of the humans he had tried to save during his time in the afterlife. And for a short time, he lived as their guardian, until the universe was to be erased. For seeing this event using his magic, Snare attempted to save as many people as he could, trying to formulate a way to transport the earth to the demon realm, where it would avoid the fate of being erased. He failed, and when he was revived he found himself in a place much different than his home. He found himself before a strange blue humanoid, who made him an offer.
An offer, he could not refuse.
Aura Color: Gray
Preferred Fighting Style: Magic/Melee (His fighting style substitutes ki based abilities for Magic, as he found magic to be much more suited for his role as a defender.)
Signature Combat Techniques Magic Barrier: Utilizing his demon magic, Snare throws up a glowing field around an object, or as a well to protect himself or others from attacks. It creates a glowing grey aura around shielded objects, and as a wall appears like Gray glass, cracking under strain, and shattering like glass when broken.
Sacrificial Dodge: A technique honed as his time as a bodyguard, Snare is exceptionally good at dodging into attacks for the sake of others, and is able to aim where the blow connects to limit the damage to himself. He normally crosses his arms when he does this, to give him some extra shielding.
Regeneration: Snare is able to heal minor wounds, and regenerate limbs with time. This ability is how he survived being impaled by Triangle's ray attack. The only weakness of this ability is that, he is unable to regenerate his head, following the rules of Namekian regeneration.
Magic Blitzkrieg: Using Magic to strengthen his attacks, Snare unleashes a devastating clap, normally slamming his hands onto the sides of his foes head, before detonating the magic like a thunder clap. This is normally used to disorient and deafen a foe, but when Snare's power dwarfs the target it normally obliterates their skull, leaving a smoking stump in its place.
Name: Bongo Ki type: applied Appearance: Rather short, and stout Bongo looks as if Drum were three foot tall, and had gentle grey eyes. Personality: Kind, supportive, and at times a bit clingy, Bongo over all attempts to emit a personality of kindness, and at times pretends to be a bit dense. He does this to hide the fact he's extremely insecure with himself, and attempts to make others happy to justify his own life. Allegiance: Unknown. Grade: 1st Power level: 24 (For namekians, they grow rather quickly, and demon namekians sometimes are birthed fully grown. He's basically a teenager of namekians, and as such is moderately weak.) Fighting style:Melee Class: Defense Age: 14 strengths and weaknesses: Bongo is exceptionally durable, able to shrug off attacks that for someone of his strength should do serious damage. However, he is rather slow moving, unable to catch foes of relative power due to this. He attempts to make up for this weakness by letting his enemies tire themselves attacking him, so he could unleash a counter attack when the enemy lacked the strength to properly dodge. Gender: Male Weapons: A large Estoc, a blade with no edge, but a rather sharp point for striking chinks in medieval armor. Think a much more robust Rapier. Race: Namekian Demon School: Turtle Bio: A mysterious creature, Bongo's physical resemblance to the demon namekians of yore have lead some to speculate that at some point or another, one of the demon namekians survived what was thought to be a killing blow, and that Bongo is one of their offspring. His personality however seems to be unnatural for such creatures, giving pause to those who might of sought his death, his relatively pure heart confounding most. He arrived at the turtle school seeking guidance, wanting to learn Turtle style martial arts in order to help others.

Could the generic "Demon" race be allowed? I namely want to model my character after the mutant namekians from Dragon Ball that Picolo summons, namely Drum.
Watching the woman quickly escape thanks to an earthquake, Wukong too his leave as well. Ducking back down into the opposite alley, he quickly made his way towards the sounds of an explosion, and a billowing plume of smoke. He moved deftly, leaping over bits of broken building with agility and speed not natural to men. However, much to his surprise, something strange began happening as he took a running leap to get over a large stack of barrels.
He started floating, the law of gravity being broken on him. Quickly diverting himself to avoid flying into the sky, Wukong, using his tail grabbed onto a bit of building and diverted himself, shortly before the hold broke due to his inertia. Naturally, to all those who were observant, they could see a strange monkey man fly into the air, heading towards a nearby building, the tallest in the market. Wukong quickly observed what was going on, seeing a group of creatures taking potshots at those who were floating in the air.
Wukong, as he landed roughly against the side of the building knew he had to try to help, and he had an idea. Using the momentary force grounding him to the wall, the impact, he coiled his tail, and bent his knees. Aiming himself at who he could only assume to be the leader of this group, the impressive looking one talking, Wukong smirked, and launched himself forwards, shooting like an arrow towards this man. With his staff in his hands, he begun his swing early, hoping that he'd collide with the man. However, in this zero gravity environment, he miscalculated, and began to spin rapidly.
Maybe people would look up. Maybe people would hear him before they saw him. Maybe the Lich would see him, and for a moment see an old hero he may of known coming at him. But one thing was certain. A very pissed monkey man was flying at him at high speeds, spinning like a top with his staff outstretched, ready to corkscrew his way into a bad situation.
