Roses. They are meant to bring happiness into someones lives. It could simply end a argument, or start a beautiful relationship. It signifies friendship, I remembers, or a thank you. They are one of the most common flowers human uses to gift to another. They are beautiful by nature, and have a subtle scent. Most will admit that the first flower that comes to mind is the rose. It's so beautiful, that we name our children after the flower. Something about this flower screams perfection! But also has a unsettle beauty.
As humankind once thought, we would become extincted, just like the dinosaurs. How? It was unclear. Nuclear fallout, animal eradication, warming globing, bacteria outbreak, etc.. Did we ever think that the most common flower in the world would harm us? No.
However, this beauty turned on us. It was very settle at start. The common cold seemed to worsen. The flu symptoms became worse over time. Cancers were more aggressive than before, and everyday treatments became ineffective. Yet, no one could explain what was happening. Each passing year, humans became sicker, and sicker. A simple infection meant something far worse than we could control.
While the sick are in the hospital, roses are delivered for 'Get Wells', and families outside received 'I'm sorry for your lose...'. The population started to become sick. Still unsure of what was causing the terrible outbreak. The common cold and the flu was deemed a epidemic at first. However, other countries began to report the same symptoms, if not worsen. As a whole, we were at a loss for what could be the issue. As every country came together, we realized that it wasn't a common cold or the flu. It was something far more than we could figure out at that moment. That is when it became a pandemic.
However, the ones who did not receive roses or lived by them, was healthy. They lived their lives like normal. They wore masks to cover there mouths. Most who were not affected where in the country. If they wore the masks to town, they would witness the affects of the plague, and not be harmed... initially.
Slowly, they became infected too.. just like everyone else. First, fever symptoms. Chills and hot flashes. This could last for days. Next would be the the itching of skin and rashes, mainly on the back of the neck and arms. Once the rash presented, it was a downhill slope. Your eye became blood shot, and your breathing was slowed... almost gasping for air. In your mind, you knew the end was coming. The rash started to develop painful pinkish blisters. The slighted touch would cause them to burst open, causing your muscles to produce a rose like scar against your skin.
Once it was to late to save the human kind, people took shelter in there homes, churches, hospitals, buildings, and underground to fade the outbreak. What they failed to realize is the roses continued mutated. Any effort to find a cure could not be found. This plague was called the Rose Plague.

What I am looking for is:
- In depth story lines
- Anyone to find a cure ;)
- Willing to loose characters, and help with the story line
- Slow and easy pace at replying

Long story short, I work 60 hours a week, with a family, and fur babies. I only have 3 days off and want to make the best of it. I would like a group who wants to work together to make a beautiful story with my idea. I have had this idea for MANY years, and want to create it.
I am a small gamer... and played the Last of Us. I have watched The Walking Dead, The Rain, and a few other post-apocalyptic shows that have inspired me to create this RP. ANYTHING is possible. I thought of this RP while looking at roses one day and it just came to me.
I am asking for you to take your time with replies, responses, and ideas. I would love this RP to become great, and long lasting. I only want SERIOUS inquires.
PLEASE be willing to loose in-depth characters! I will say this, I have to loose my main to have this story continue! Have back ups! I don't care if they are related or not... but be cautious! I will also be using a random generator to kill our characters.
