I'm curious! =)
I want to play! Looking for suggestions!

The Basic Setting
The story takes place in an alternative reality. In a nutshell, the history of Earth diverges from our reality back in 2012. September 13th, a space storm bombards the Earth with radiation killing most of humanity and causing movement in the tectonic plates, reshaping the face of the planet somewhat. The few of us that are left, have no idea how many of us there really are and how the world has changed. There is no electricity, no matter what we do, electronic devices just won't work.

The storm also changed us. Ever since the storm, some of us have been able to channel our malice or benevolence as supernatural energy. Manifestations of our genuine emotions, feelings and thoughts have become a power we can use as weapons, tools or in many other ways.

The Story
The main character finds out about a possible settlement far away. Whatever their intention or reasoning is, they decide to start the long journey. Maybe they will survive, maybe they won't, but a direction and a goal is as good as any in the broken world they live in.

You can read more about the world here. You will find a PDF booklet.

Looking for:
1. A main character who is the center of all action
2. A few supporting characters who enter the story at different points, who may or may not stay for the whole journey.

This is how the game will work:

- I will play as the Narrator, set the scenes, play the environment, write creatures, NPCs etc.
- The story begins with the main character, alone somewhere in the world, at a place of their choosing.
- As the character ventures on they encounter other people (NPC and PC alike), challenges and so on
- In its simplicity the game will be a journey from point A to point B where the story ends.
- We play the story in scenes/chapters so there is some time/distance jumping to minimize the empty lull.

I am hoping that you would write at least three good paragraphs as an average.
!CLOSED FOR NOW!

I want to play! Got ideas for stories/scenarios? Long or short stuff?

My favorites currently are fantasy, cyberpunk and post-apocalyptic stuff. I like to play a story in scenes to keep things contained. I am feeling open to suggestions so send them my way!

I should mention though, that FF/MM romances are not within my interest zone to write about. Also, while romance in general is cool, but if that is the sole purpose of the game, it gets kind of old pretty quick ^^". I like writing romantic stuff, but it needs a context and story needs a direction.

On that note, I would like to plan the game a little, at least the starting point and maybe have an idea of the end game, what to look forward.

I try to write at least 2-3 paragraphs in order to give you something to work on. I would appreciate if you did the same. The more you write, the more likely it is that I write more back. Depending on the amount of writing, I should be able to play at least a turn per day.

Yo, I got a message that BlueAjah/Allet has to drop out. Do you guys want to continue regardless? We can do that with just three and continue as if Allet never existed.
@BlueAjah will you be posting some time soon? :)

Nice choice@Asesina! Looking forward to your post @LuckyBlackCat
@Asesina Yay! A good kill ;) Sorry, that you had to get hurt. You can blame the coin :D

Now that we have gotten a nice preview of sorts into Jane, let's move forward. Scene 1! @Asesina, write a nice scene opening for Jane. At your discretion, you can make the time pass and move further south, if you so desire, and I will adapt accordingly. In case you change location, just give me the coordinates or something so I can pinpoint on a map where we are. There won't be any threatening encounters at this time. It is just Jane, the wound she has and the rain that will last through the night.

After that: @LuckyBlackCat it is time for your entrance! You may make immediate contact or you can wait until the next round and just introduce your character now. Up to you!

Looking forward to seeing what happens

TIME: NOON
WEATHER: HEAVY RAIN

As Jane stepped out and left the protection of the roof, she was greeted by a cold barrage of the falling rain. She had not been in the building for a long time, but in that short period the rain had only intensified. Beautiful and majestic as nature could be, and terrifying when it decided to flex its muscles, today, it seemed the sky was hellbent on flooding the Earth in a record time. Visibility was bad before, now it was even worse. You could barely see the road that was only a stone cast away from the door of the gas station. The otherwise silent and abandoned traffic station was fully enveloped in the roar of the falling rain. Wind had entered the picture now too. Increasing gusts made the trees sway and the water droplets that were thrown around by the wind turned into a watery mist as they crashed into each other.

A second later there was a flash. It was followed by a distant roar from a violent crack of lightning not too long after. As if by a result, the roof of the shelter in the parking lot, a few meters away from the door to the station building failed. Years of corrosion, neglect and the weight of the water made the structure break and a mixture of rotten wood and other materials crashed down leaving only the pillars and the metal frame of the shelter standing. No one would find solace under it anymore. Instead, the rain and the water collected by the hooks and nooks by the structure streamed down through the gaping hole onto the pile of rubble that now spread at its feet.

The scenery was everything but inviting. Today, the world around seemed to remind anyone who was lucky enough to be still alive of the destruction and collapse that cast the once vibrant civilization to the edge of annihilation. The ones that were alive, were a special generation. This world was not for the weak, or the faint of heart. Every day was a battle and every time one closed their eyes, it could be the last time they would sleep.
