Leaning against the wall with a grimace on his face, the shortest member of the group glared at the prince and princess. All this talk of dreams and powers was starting to get to him. His mind raced at the thought of what could happen to Alycia. Their bodies were changing in unnatural ways that defied anything that he had ever known. The unknown of what this could mean his little sister caused Aleyn to grow increasingly displeased with their current situation; a displeasure that would erupt from him like a volcano.

"THIS IS BULLSHIT!", Aleyn screamed, pushing off the wall.

He began stomping toward Rulania and her brother, his eyes giving a venomous gaze. He stopped right beside Audrey, not caring who would object at his outburst.

"How can we trust you? You talk about dreams and abilities and all this crap. YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT US!" The roar of his voice not matching his stature, fist balled, "I can't stay here. Do you see that little girl over there? I have to protect her. Send me home. I don't want your stupid, fake abilities. I wanna go back home. I won't let someone else use us for their own goals. I deal with that enough."

Aleyn's fangs began to show from beneath his lip, giving his anger the image of a king cobra ready to strike.

I apologize again. Its not that I'm trying to ignore the rp or anything. Just has been alot going on since I came back two weeks ago and I've been working nonstop with barely any sleep. I assure everyone that I'm still fully down for the rp.

I'm having a good time, the pacing of the posts doesn't bother me, but I think I'll agree that the story has shot forward a little.

I think since they're close in age, and their parents work together, they might even have been play date partners when they were little. She might have had a history of clashing with Markus, even before his parents went missing, and Markus became the head of the household.

When that happened, Audrey stopped being welcome around the Ward house, and they would mostly just see each other at school.

That's perfect honestly. They are close but aren't close at the same time. Basically a strained friendship since they don't hang out as much anymore. Tho they share a friendship in Brown.

Alright, we’re a few months in and so far we’re having some good activity and I’m super excited with how this has all started in this prologue.

I like to field this question every so often in roleplays I run, TTRPG and otherwise; Everyone enjoying themselves so far? Any initial disappointments or joys? I know we’re early on roleplaywise, but we’ve all been hanging out for a few months and I just like to touch base with people. How’s the pacing? Am I dragging things out, or does it feel right? Etc.
