Tabbyfur nodded.
"You're welcome, I hope the opportunity appears soon for you." She smiled and sat back up and quickly licked her shoulder.
"I'm sure they'll be very excited to see their big sister!" She felt a lot less awkward now, feeling like tension had been building and just released in Snowpaw's small rant. It was understandable though, she obviously cared very much for her kin in RiverClan, just as Tabbyfur cared for her brother.
"Tabbyfur, do you know why I've never been to a Clan meeting? I'm ten moons old...certainly old enough to have gone already, I think...Do you think you could maybe, err, mention it to Hawkstar?" Tabbyfur frowned, she had a good point. She had the opportunity to go to three or four gatherings, but she had not accompanied one. It was especially peculiar because she was almost certain that the majority of apprentices had already been to a gathering at least once, and Snowpaw hadn't seriously misbehaved in the past moons - not that it was likely that she would.
"No, you're right. I'll talk to him when we get back to camp." Tabbyfur's mind buzzed with thoughts.
'Has she not gone because Hawkstar thinks she needs the time training or something??' The idea that he would do that made her curious to know why.
Tabbyfur shook her head and stood up.
"Hmm.. Do you think you're okay to train now? I wouldn't mind going hunting if you're still kinda stressed.""I see it as I'll only have to do these things now, and when I'm older, there'll be other apprentices for it." Honeypaw meowed, just as she started to create a new ball of moss.
"Heh.. That's what I thought." He rolled his eyes and smiled.
"Wait - how'd you do that?!" Duskclaw looked shockingly at his few strands of moss in comparison to Honeypaw's more bountiful rolls of moss.
"You're cheating somehow, aren't you?" He meowed jokingly. Though, he still couldn't quite figure out how to get the moss from off the tree.
Duskclaw went straight back to clawing off the moss from the Sycamore tree, and as he did so, he would occasionally glance over to look at how Honeypaw was doing it, but attempted to do it without being noticed. The more he did so, the more frustrated he got as he failed to imitate Honeypaw's technique.
"Waaaaaaah! You young un's, you cheat!" Duskclaw yowled half-jokingly, half-frustrated. His fluffy tail started to swish in anger, as he continued in the hope he could get it done well.
