Lickspittle will absolutely be a NPC.
As for how big, probably around 37 lb/17 kg, 47 inches long total.
And no he is not a slow boi. Probably sounds like a motorcycle engine while purring.
Yeah realized that now.
Was a slight bit of confuse. Apologies for all that.

By the way I realize now that I didn't mention it but dyou mind if Mr Kennedy brings his cat from the young years, Lickspittle?
Might be a little not-as-old due to various potion drinking. Might also be a tad big.
@MrSkimobile Ahhh was about to say that I was looking forward to Mr Kennedy introducing himself to each class year - especially the First Years. Had a whole speech in mind and everything.
Since we're starting off with students getting caught at greenhouses and other tomfoolery, not with something like the start of the year, welcome-first-years and introduce-professors Great Hall speeches, I feel like I should ask how long our professors have been at the school or how long the school term has been going on for.

Unless of course we're catching students who actually live at Hogwarts and this is before the school year has actually started.

Just trying to grab a frame of reference for post planning.
I think a mixture of players making up students for their own purposes - and to provide opportunities for shenanigans in other classes - is generally a good, though GM "intervention" with a more fleshed out student body would keep things more moving along than purely relying on the playerbase.

As for the student nonsense at the greenhouse, I'd be happy to have Mr Kennedy be on his evening rounds.

I will consider this. I am not hugely a fan as it can leave people behind really quickly if they aren't able to engage.

That's fair. Was just wondering if that was the plan since ooc coordination / dialogue for character ideas seemed a little slow. I'm just excited for the game and want to talk about plans lol.
By the way, are we planning on having a Discord for these shenanigans?
Could be interesting, but to be honest I have a few questions.

  • Do you anticipate our characters being natives or not to the local commonwealth?
  • If they can be natives, would you allow our characters to begin as members of a faction?
  • Where would the applicable starting location(s) be?
  • Do you anticipate keeping our characters together throughout the game?
  • Are you running the game with the aesthetics of Fallout 4 in mind (As far as Assault Rifles, tanks, Combat Shotguns go) or with Fallout 3 / New Vegas in mind?
  • What sort of Super Mutants do you have in mind?
