The highest, most decisive experience is to be alone with one's own self. You must be alone to find out what supports you, when you find that you can not support yourself.

The core of an individual is the mystery of life, which dies when it is 'grasped'. That is also why symbols want to keep their secrets.

The Harbinger of Ferocity

Agent of the Wild, Aspect of the Ferine
Nature, red in tooth and claw.

"There is, indeed, no single quality of the cat that man could not emulate to his advantage."
- Carl Van Vechten

I am, at my core, a personification and manifestation of those things whose blood and hearts run red with the ferocity of the animal world. It is this which convicts and controls my works, my writing, my being; the force and guidance in which I gain wisdom from. It is what inspires me as a creator and weaver of words, the very thing I admire as an author.

My leanings, savage as they are, are of the feline sort as there exists no greater lineage of beasts whom can be drawn from. No others captivate and motivate my talent and skill as the greatest of cats do.

I attempt to divine meaning from the presence of dreams, many of which have peculiar insight to any number of events be them related or unrelated. One of the most bizarre things I endure that as one who can shape and alter them, lucid to some extent, is in rare circumstance a story plays itself out where I am but third party and unable to influence, an observer really; perspective may shift but in no way do I include my regular capacity to influence it. Their meaning is often cryptic and obscure in these cases, but once unraveled remarkably insightful, which leads me to understand why they had until relatively recently they were understood with tremendous import.
Your motion has been approved of, but I am afraid the interested feline party, that being myself, has not heard which one specifically draws your attention, @KimHanuel. For someone so aware of the various options and the rationale behind them, I am hardly disappointed, so kudos there; few give such seemingly arbitrary questions much passing thought or depth. That said, there can only be one particular favorite which is loaded with meaning to you. Many favor their birthstones, others choose symbolically, some are just partial to their attributes or supposed mythical properties, and others yet benefit from all these and more.
Yes, but unfortunately you must narrow down further, as the question referred to a singular choice. Difficult, I know, although that is part of this inquiry, @KimHanuel. This in mind, I appreciate the elaboration but we must reach the point where the choice is not quite so simple, which is some of the fun.
You must choose from a gemstone or metal, just at large, that you prefer, @KimHanuel. Which is it? Why is it? What else on the matter can you lend?
I have no news as of late to report and in some cases, no news is good news.
The moment the half-blood orc warrior swung and chopped to bits the remaining threat, the hunter prowled eagerly from side to side of the cave. All seemed well, or as best it could, as the strange creature that the old man turned into snickered to itself and bristled slightly, as unnerving a sound as that was. The calm did not last all too long however, not that as much was expected even, as the shrewd little woman went about investigating on her own; the wilder in the meanwhile surveyed for a moment longer, eyes of night piercing the dark. Soon they would need added illumination for those who could not see in the darkness and that was slightly concerning, although more concerning was the last few gashes that had been partially mended upon Orchid.

Pausing for a moment, allowing the heavy weapon to rest in one hand, Brannor remarked to the other man in subdued voice, "If you feel you need further healing, I can lend some."

The roiling mist had begun to settle, its odd chill compared to the relative warmth of the cave settling, and the figure pressed past it afterward until he was left surveying the two paths ahead of them. Providing the youthful bow toting cleric a glance, then back to the halfling woman, it was clear they were inspecting something; soon it turned out to be a loose stone, as well as the fact that one path was clearly more traveled than the other through the forest of fungi. Scowling some, strong jaw gritting slightly, he surveyed a moment longer before speaking again as restrained as he could to not add to any undo noise post battle.

"The left is far more traveled and some sort of crude trap of loose stone appears to be here... I am not sure what to take from that but I suggest we go down the road more traveled."

The comment came following his scenting of the environment; the chamber was damp and drab, fungal and musty, nothing of the kind that was pleasant. No less, as he came to think of it, it would be wise to wrap himself in the emerald cloak once they ventured down into the depths; many fungi were noxious and nauseating, perhaps that was why one route was to act as pitfall? It would only make sense too given the crates he moved when the wilder feigned prisoner, as the flying kobolds reasonably could not have flown with them given their weight. The left path made the most sense, at least for the moment.

Wonderful, then I will address that come tomorrow.
That he certainly will, with a pair of 20, as odd as that is, 20, with the latter only applying to anything that could be gleaned by hearing or scent; not that it matters in this case, mind you! Either way, is anything else discovered by Brannor, @Hekazu?
On a related note, given the huntsman has a keen, animal nose, would it be possible to scent trail which path is more heavily used or does the ambient environment of the pervasive damp, dark cave and its mushrooms blot all of that out? I am an assuming a Perception check if it is even possible to glean which way is the most likely used, @Hekazu?
Fortunate then that went so quickly, on to the next as appropriate then. If I recall, there are two branching paths through the fungus riddled cave, @Hekazu?
