@The Jest I just might play them both, we'll see... x.x

I am curious about why you prefer the second one, though.

It's mostly that prospect of "Controlling the Battlefield" which, to me, implies a strategic/tactical mind that sets up traps and gambits while in the middle of conflict against enemy forces. Combine that with her "Naive" personality, and I think it can be a good character to interact with. ^_^
This cool?

Name: Apollo Hadrian
Gender: Male/Nonbinary
Age: 17
Appearance: (I'm still looking for a good image. I might end up drawing it myself. Anyways…) Narrow face, long dark hair, amber colored eyes, rather scrawny frame, pouty lips (but that's not too noticeable since he's always scowling), long fingers, tan-ish complexion. (I'll attach an image file later)
Desire: True freedom. Apollo doesn't care about much, but one of the few things that he cares most about the ability to decide things for himself and to live his own life. He wants to live without anyone else influencing who he is.
Personality: Literally gives absolutely no f***s whatsoever. One of his prime motivators to do anything at all is the chance that he'll have fun. This makes him a bit of a jerk, considering that his apathy extends to how he treats other people. He still doesn't care about much at all, but now that he has desire, he's a bit more touchy than before and does not react well to being told what to do, even if he knows that he is being irrational.
Ability: Speed. At first, that just meant being able to move really quickly. However, he will soon learn that if he can get fast enough, the possibilities of what his power can bring him are………interesting
Weapon: A nondescript steel knife.
Backstory: He was always a sort of a loner, mostly because of his abrasive personality. But one day, while randomly wandering the streets of his city, he heard some rumors about a group of rebels against everything that society stood for. Needless to say, he was intrigued, and over time, that intrigue spun out of control and morphed into an obsession. His eagerness to find out what was going on led him to start "looking for trouble." (I'll be explaining more of his backstory as I go along. I want some of the missing information to affect the way his character develops)

In terms of power and what have you, that's fine...But in terms of personality and backstory...

I understand that it's a bit difficult to comprehend, and that the angels have essentially made your personalities loose for the illusion of free will, but just remember that until the "infection" begins, your freedom to do nothing, your apathy and sloth is merely an illusion as well, one they can take away with just a snap of the fingers.

That being said, when it comes to the backstory, I don't necessarily 'mind' it, but I just wish to confirm something: Do you understand that the backstory you made essentially means you have to wait until at least after they wake up and get started on their terrorism before your own character can step in to join?
Personally, I think the crews getting to the size that the surgeon may need an assistant. I'm assuming there are npc crew as well.

Something like that, yes. There are NPCs that serve as the essential "Red Shirts" if you will. XD

And I did NOT want to double post...Whoops.
I'm having a bit of a problem: I can't decide between two characters. Both of them are boarding party (obviously), and they are both made to be demolitions experts, though how they work is a bit different. I would like peoples opinions on which one they want to see more, please.

1) An Alori Explosives expert, a monkey Alori specifically, named Montgomery "Monty" Kong. He is essentially a slightly insane explosives expert who weilds a grenade launcher and a bizarre array of explosives, often themed around banana and monkey puns.

2) A female human cyborg who is based around Magnetism, a cross between demolitionist and front-line tank who would be about defending allies and controlling the battlefield. Her personality is somewhat withdrawn, logical and naive.

Huh, Like the others, I actually like both cases here. I don't mind multiple characters per player, so long as they themselves can handle the extra stress. But ultimately, it's your choice.

Personally, I prefer the second one. ^_^
I agree with Windpipe. Happy to have you aboard, Silvir. ^^
Now while everyone gets their CSes to the Character Section... and @tal0n finishes his, (Take your time, mate.) IT'll be time for my next step: Making the IC and starting this thing! =D
I have now added the Captain to the Character Tabs.

I have also added a crew member of my own into this as the Weapons and armory smith. ...Essentially he's the guy who will be attempting to invent new ways for you guys to blow crap up. XD

Kinda surprised Conrad would go and take the job of piracy, after that pirate attack led him to 5 years of slave hell. But hey, The Captain isn't complaining. XD

He's in. That being said, TO ALL ACCEPTED PEOPLE (Ie, everyone on here. XD) I'm almost done with my own CSes, and will post them to the Character Tab. Be ready to C&P your stuff there when its done. ^_^
This thread went completely under the radar. Thought I already posted my CS. Here it is.

Appearance:
Name: Chef Gold or just Gold
Race: Ursid - They are depicted as brute warriors with a big physique said to resemble that of a bear but they are also a cunning people. Brute force is meant more to gain respect and the obedience of others as it is rarely used to achieve one's goals except when you are in war of course.
Age: 47
Gender: Male
Job: Chef
Weapons:
Cyborg Eye - Gold's eye gives him several optic visionary functions he can use simultaneously, such as Zoom-in, Thermal vision, Night vision, X-Ray, and more. Besides the optic visionary functions he can channel a beam of laser from his eye for a short duration.
Cybernetic Arm - Gold's cyborg arm serves a variety of functions, containing a surprising amount of tools as well as weapons, such as a clamp, a sword, a plasma flintlock pistol, a torch/flamethrower, a plethora of sharp implements and tools, like scissors, a cleaver, cooking wares, etc., pincer-esque appendages, and more.
Cybernetic Peg Leg - Silver's cyborg leg works via hydraulic pump, so damage to it inhibits him, leaving him to limp until it can be repaired. It also carries a detachable grenade launcher Silver can attach to his cyborg arm.

Abilities:
Cooking - Gold is a master chef and maximizes his cooking skills with his cybernetic tools, enabling him to cook his dishes at a surprising rate of speed.
Fighting - Be it hand to hand, with a sword/knife/gun he is a master in the field coming from a long life filled with battles.
Torture - Even if it remains only as a grim reminder of his past self, it is still a part of him and he still has the necessary skills to make anyone yield under his "ministrations".

Personality: He is a lot more friendly now after joining the culinary arts. A lot more friendly and cunning. He is convinced that the his fighting days are behind him so he focuses more on being cunning and using ways that don't involve violence, as far as it's possible.
Bio: A huge civil war tore his planet apart and with it came the near extinction of his kind when a machine that targeted the planet's core with powerful seismic pulses was created and eventually destroyed the planet. A few other survived. During the war, Cpt. Gold as his troopers called him because of his golden eye, was made infamous for the usage of his torture methods on the radicals during the Ursid Civil War. In the end thought he wasn't able to save anything, the war was lost as the radicals managed to "change" something. Before there was a planet and now...just rubble.

Since then he has been traveling aimlessly until he got into a planet ruled by corruption. There he earned a name in the underground fighting arenas, Golden Eyed Devil. A name and money at that since he never lost a single battle. That changed when he was beaten by an alien creature which had weapons on its person. The rules of the arena allowed no weapons or armor, only hand to hand combat. The alien creature claimed that the blades were part of his body, same as hands and limbs on others. The Golden Eyed Devil wasn't going to back from this either way. During the fight the creature managed to cut his left leg and drop him to the ground. Turning back in hoped to hear the cheers of the crowd it was only greeted by booos but then the cheering went through the roof when The Infamous Devil got up on his one feet and got into fight position, rage adorned his face. Angry for not getting the crowd on it's side, the alien creature charged for the Ursid with an extended scythe. With his right hand he held the creatures wrist so it couldn't use it's blade while with the left hand he used it as a shield to greet the slices of the creature and protect his head. Finally he took the opening and lunged in with his mouth to tear the creatures head clean off. The crows was mad with excitement and adrenaline and the last things he heard before he blacked out was the chanting of his stage name in the planet's home language.

Waking up he was greeted by robotic doctors. They had patched his lost limbs and asked him if he wanted a cybernetic replacement for those.
"Only the best this shithole has to offer."

After that he left the fighting business in a sort of epiphany coming from his near death experience. Later he learned that he had a thing for the culinary arts, it relaxed him and made him feel appreciated when others liked his food. But to say the truth, deep down he misses the days of fighting. They're not past yet.

Him while cooking.

Excellent. ...Now the list is complete. ^_^
