Actually, going back on homelessness, does the town have laws against sleeping in cars in parking aces or things like that?
I'd imagine like most towns that they do. But usually, at least where I'm from, the cops don't bother them unless the property owner calls the police to remove them. Otherwise the police don't do much unless called or if they are causing a scene or harassing, ect. We can go with that haha
So, how should I tie in the dead guy to the town?
I was trying to brainstorm ideas but so far I got nothin haha
You'll probably have to make his family NPC's in town. Unless one of our other players wants to volunteer to have a dead brother/family member in general that was in the military?

I highly highly doubt a mental institution would give a cop confidential information on their client when he has absolutely no relation to her. He did his job, thats the only tie he has to this. Unless, of course, he's been stalking her and abusing his power.
Your post is fine though, considering he saw them pull up in the driveway.
