If she's in a backless outfit, people will see the lashes and burns on her back.

Mia was a long-time victim of abuse, which is pretty obvious considering the scars on her chest. However, only her adoptive parents and the child protective services know the whole story. There's also another secret....why so curious?

She's a hardworking college student, majoring in Accounting and Finances. She's in her second year.

She works night shifts at The Honey Pot. Not as a stripper, but a bartender. 

Personality
Mia’s life started out rough, but she never lets it show. She always has a lopsided smile on her face, or at least some happiness dancing in her eyes. Be this as it may, she does get upset rather easily, and has a hard time controlling her emotions. When she's annoyed, she uses her scars as a sort of means of protection, seeing as many people won't approach her if they see them. She's never allowed her past to affect her, so when anyone asks about what happened, she usually just laughs and brushes it off. 

Short Bio
Mia was born to an average family, on the outside at least. Her father was a great worker at a well paying job, and his mother was a sweetheart who did a lot for her neighborhood; keeping people out of the streets, the whole nine yards. On the inside however, it was a different story.

Mia assumed it was her father that started things, because her mother was a great stay at home mom for the first five years of her life. In fact, Mia clung to her and loved her dearly. Then, one day lost in memories of later abuse, her mom and dad came into her room with the belt. Of course Mia had wondered what was wrong, she didn't remember what had happened earlier that day that caused them to punish her. Later on in the night though, while they were still spanking her with strange smiles on their faces, Mia realized this wasn't a normal punishment.

Every night from then on, they would come in with new devices and beat her bloody. They never attacked her arms or face, because if they did she wouldn't be able to go out, and people would be suspicious. They used knives, wax, belts, sticks. It was later on in her life when Mia realized they probably found a form of sexual release from it, at least her father did.

Her mother was never truly into it, she just did it to make her dad happy. Almost every week Mia’s mom would pull her out from school early and take her shopping, or for her favorite meal. While they walked from place to place she would aplogize, but Mia never accepted. It wasn't until she was fifteen that things changed, and that she was freed from her miserable life. 

Shortly after her fifteenth birthday, Mia made a rush decision to fight back. She didn't do anything agressive, but she held up her arms when the knife came down, and she finally managed some visible defensive wounds. Her father, in a rage, didn't even think when he slashed her face and chest. Mia had never been so happy, she was finally able to show everyone that her life was hell and she needed a way out.

It was later that week, during her mother's house party, that her father's co-workers called the child protective agency and she was taken away. She never went to court to testify against them, because she felt safe with her new adoptive family, and she didn't want to bring any more attention to herself in her new home. Now, she works as a Bartender in Millington, and is a hard working college student.
