Wellp corrected the best i could for now, lemme know if it's better, then do i continue roleplaying with Soldier Boy on his mission until anyone arrives and meets him? or wait for someone to interact with the scene?

Like i could definitely RP and have him do things and follow his general path and mission until outside influence change them, just looking to be sure.

Location: Planet Mars, 56th century, Terran dominion, City New Eden, Athens region, Mount Olympus basin, Neon Highs night club.

Bartender! Another round for me and the lady, would ya? Yeah, the same damn thing. What's that? Martian moonshine? Don't insult my intelligence, pal. This here's good ol' American whiskey, and it tastes damn good on this dustbowl of a planet.

*Winks at the dame beside me, her eyes sparkling with a mixture of amusement and admiration. She seems to eye my physique, although marginally perturbed by the clash between my outfit and the saloon*

Been here six months, and these Martian bartenders still can't mix a proper drink. They got all these fancy gadgets and gizmos, but they can't replicate the simple pleasure of a good whiskey on the rocks. Reminds me of those Commies back in the day, always trying to overcomplicate things.

*Takes a swig from the drink, savoring the familiar burn.. This bar ain't half bad, though. Neon lights, chrome accents, even got a jukebox playing some decent tunes. It's like a little slice of home on this red rock.*

Gotcha! I work with several folks from the UK, so I'm overfamiliar with the time difference =)

In terms of Discord, nothing general-purpose. Maybe if more new folks show up who would be interested.

The rest of us are U.S. time, but our lot has weird sleep schedules, so it may line up great.

So coin flip moment, how we deciding? Someone comes to Planet Mars, 56th century, Terran dominion, City New Eden, Athens region, Mount Olympus basin? Or Soldier boy finds ominous door in middle of city edge jungle and decides to heck with it and open it to meet someone there?

For me will prolly be easier if someone plops near me, mainly b'cause i have a minimal mind map ready for a starting scene and it'll be less confusing, just for initial scene, and then we can go from there wherever the adventure flows!

Yup, i hail from the UK... so that is... uuuh... nearly 6AM for me right now.

Also, i really just post whenever, i do try to keep up with the flow of games in general, but yeh, usually for me it goes around the day/nights of UK (Depending whether i got my insomnia or i have good nights rests... :P - and y'know... life being an unapologetic b***h as it is with everyone i presume...)

SO just as a side note, with no narration just the first person 5 senses thing may take some time to adjust to and for the intro post, i may have thought of him just drinking a cocktail in a bar on New Eden, in case anyone is sent to him, just kindof the spirit of 'as if things couldn't get any more fucked up' depression moment even for soldier boy, but if he stumbles over that door, i'll have to come up with some other strategy heh...

Edit: yup i totally just blurbed the name of the city already... new athens *face palm* it is New eden... LOLOLO

There are definitely justifiable ways for some characters to end up in a situation where they would meet your character on Mars, I’d say. It’s just a matter of whether they’re tied in to other current goings-on or not.

I wouldn’t worry about trying to pick up on lore immediately and readily. As you can see, we have many many pages and move at a pretty rapid pace due to speed posting. There would be a lot to read, and many of us use multiple accounts with changing avatars and profile info to match whatever character is featured on that profile at the time. So picking up the character who might have been on my current account at any point in the past, for example, is an incredibly tall ask. We’ll help you out in understanding anything you might need if it comes up.

As you wrote your character to be new to the multiverse and traversing it as it stands, it might actually be easier for someone to come to you.

Also yes, having someone come to him definitely works for me, gives me a good chance to 'splore this Mars thing and terran dominion thing i got going for his dramatic creation...
