The way I see it, forum roleplaying involves writing as the core activity. In comparison, AI art is fine since images are simply garnish, but if you start using bots to replace parts or all of the writing too, why... even bother doing it in the first place?

But hey, I may be not making sense, in which case, that's fair too.

Ah fair enuff... i get the reluctance... and i completely get how it sounds...

But i wasn't encouraging in the sense that people have to replace their passion with a machine, my meaning was merely to be able to participate if they wanted to even if life stood in their way.

For example, you have a bad day and don't feel like doing anything, but you are curious to see what happens next, but you don't have the mental energy to write much. Chat bot steps in interprets your intended wishes and the story, and plays for you and you can make minimal adjustments.

The example is from personal life experience...

Definitely did not want to come across as undervaluing traditional roleplaying, in fact if i did that, i wouldn't even still be working on my own ttrpg game book.

But enough of that, sure... anyway, if anybody changes their mind at the moment i'm in myriad reality and busy with life so don't know that this game is coming to life anytime soon... Just ping the hell out of me if there truly is any interest.

About six months or so... ever since i was dropped on this time and planet... And let me tell you, there ain't nothing worse than hearing that the countries of the world have been nearly completely assimilated in this 'Terran Dominion' crap, i was fighting commies, and now i live in some sort of a vast nightmare that is a communist empire!

Hold on a second, where are you even from though? I have seen some crazy people, fought some... rather ridiculous mutants, and forged some good friendships here, but i never saw someone who just casually says they travel between lands and they don't mean planets like everyone seems to do these days.

FWIW, you can throw OOC comments here rather than in the action symbols, or you can cheat, as is tradition ;)

Something like

I generally try to avoid conditionals in actions, but it can be done cleverly.

Heh! I mean go for it... from what i've gone through already in the people i've worked with since i found myself here, they either couldn't pick it up, or they phased straight through it as if it is a ghost.

*If you do touch it you will feel it as if it is a cube of glass or quartz that is slightly warm to the touch, but if you phase through it, it'll just be mildly amusing XP - it's all up to you what you chose but yeah, you won't be able to handle it*

The only thing i can see as an ill effect, is that my mind's been changing. I certainly seem to truly care for people and evidently i'm less of a punch first guy... Damn i used to love that...

Dunno! Not a thing, nada, zilch! But tell you what i do know, i can't get rid of it, not that i'd want to anymore, but i did try once, and for some reason it found itself back to me, and as you can probably tell, it has some sort of will of its own...

Yup... it can't even be seen by the people it doesn't want to be seen by or those that i don't want to reveal the thing to.

And it definitely has given me some boons...

N... no... or at least i didn't used to think it did until i was zapped across time and space to this place and i got coupled with this thing!

*unhooks the Tesseract and i put it confidently on the counter - it immediately gives off a burst of air distortion energy kinda like intense heat on the desert distorts air, except it is not warm - for whatever reason nobody seems to even pay any attention to it despite it's audacious and in your face aspect*
