<Snipped quote by Shadrack Nor>

*Grins throughout a mad, silent giggle and immediately dashes for the first mutant, flinging myself up its body with a pair of knives in a reverse grip, using the blades like a set of pitons, and once I reach the chest of the monster I dig the two into its heart in a wedge shape, rending as much flesh as I can from the still-beating organ*

*The thing immediately lashes out, but not before being staggered by the attack in bestial surprise, it lashes out two tentacles your way trying to rip you apart, while it immediately reaches out for January MacClay*

January MacClay: Oh no you don't!

*She tumbles out of the way and immediately starts firing her weapon, cracking a few of its armour plaques*

@System @Memory (Whichever heh) Ya'll have a discord group i can join so we can talk the game more freely and openly? lol... cause talking just in ooc alone seems quite limiting imo...
<Snipped quote by Shadrack Nor>

*Produces a notepad and a pen*
I’m ready as soon as you are, sir. I think I can speak for the whole of our small faction in that.

Commander Greyson: Right everyone let's step into the threshold!

*He declares as he's the first to enter the yellow blazing threshold of the teleportation doorways and release a flare of light as he's teleported, shortly after which everyone else follows, you, Prism and Misty with the group assigned to you, arrive in what looks like a dishevelled open deck, that has an opening to the fortress, This is clearly a suspended base, meant for several tasks, that was supposedly abandoned, you'd better watch your back however... but overall, there are many lower decks that have closer vistas, and windows and even data relevant from the pirates past actions that might be useful to record; the rest, Meredy and Rhoan are with me and the rest of the ship's larger group joining the main assault army*

Commander Greyson: Alright fellos, be ready, though this region seems silent for now.... oh fuck... watch out duck!!!

*A ball of plasma is quickly approaching our location; I step in the way and raise a hand and create a shield that utterly cancels the weapon and absorbs it's power into the tesseract; the Commander looks dumbfounded at me*

Commander Greyson: You could do this all the time?

Soldier Boy: Heh... no sir... i actually intended to blast the thing before it landed on us...

*I answer ernestly*

Commander Greyson: So how did they already spotted us... oh shit! this must be a trap!!! Call your observer friends!! they might be in over their heads already!

Soldier Boy: Dammit! They weren't supposed to know we were comin'! Those bastards must've rigged this whole place to blow. We gotta get out of here, now!

*My voice is laced with urgency and a hint of fear. I glance at the outer wall of the fortress; The place is a death trap, and it is impossible to ignore.*

Prism, *I call on the psionic communicator* get your team the hell out of there! NOW!

Use the healer if you have to, but get outta that death trap! they may have been planning how to trap us in all along which means they are ready for even the larger army! hold 'em off as long as you can until the teleporters charge, then I'll teleport to your location. Don't you dare die on me, kid!

*I draw my Pulsefire, a grim determination settling on my face. I start to think the odds are stacked against us, but I'll be damned if I let my team die without a fight. The power of the Tesseract surges through my blood already, strengthening my resolve. I'm not just a soldier anymore; I'm a weapon! and I'm fully embodying it!*

Come and get me, you pirate scum! I'm gonna make you regret the day you messed with the Terran Dominion!

*I charge toward the already colossal mutants approaching our unit, my weapon blazing, the air crackling with the energy of my fury. I'm ready to unleash hell, and I won't stop until every last pirate is dead!*
Theme for mission start 😝--> The Algorithm - floating point

Okay then everyone, @Spiritblitz, @Asce, @Memory and @Etcetera *I call out to my squad and your group to ready ourself and enter our designated teleoprting pads, The locations are set twofold, a group of soldiers including January MacClay*

Your group, prism, which is accompanied by two of our best sentinels, Leon and Aria, will be accompanying you for backup and in case of unexpected surprises in your abandoned nearby outpost, since you wanted to observe and to have Misty with you, mine are the new guys with the rest of the army, be safe, and make sure to call the ship for emergency teleportation out if you are in over your heads, they'll either teleport you on one of the freighters in orbit, or if you so wish, to join the rest of the group with us, but it'll certainly be more dangerous, however we have a literal armada to surround you so you can focus on taking notes.

Now Guys! Ready! Commander give us the go! *I look at Greyson confident - to which he keeps his arms crossed displaying pleasant surprise and approval to which he nods, and signals the engineer to engage the pads*
@System Cool cool! Hey i just thought of a way Soldier Boy can actually get to know how about Prism's double that appeared, maybe another soldier saw the event and tells me or the commander...
@System Ello, are you by any chance an older account for Memory-Prism? i know i was told that some players have alt accounts that they use for their character pictures, just out of curiosity.

Also if you are Memory, i might be able to be present in a few hours from now after i finish some studies shenanigans and work and chores 😅😅😅

Have there been any developments around my character when i was off that i need to check up on?
Oh yeah, i might be going to bed soon, life demands n'all =((
Soldier Boy: Also make sure to call up your group, we seem to be headin' out!
<Snipped quote by Shadrack Nor>

Hm...
*Looks at the healing gun, thinking*
What if you hooked it up to your cube?

Soldier Boy: Hook it up to the cube? *I let out a booming laugh that echoes through the ship.* Son, I ain't just carryin' this thing around for show. It's connected to everythin' I do, every weapon I use. It's what gives me the edge, the power to do what others can't.

*I pat the Tesseract, a fond smile spreading across my face.* This baby's like a second heart to me. It pumps power through my veins, amplifies my abilities, makes me... somethin' more.

*My eyes narrow, a predatory gleam flickering within them.* Don't need no healer, kid. I'm tough as nails, resilient as they come. You ask those damn commies who tried to keep me down for years. Didn't work out so well for them.

*My voice drops to a low growl.* This cube, it's changed me. Made me stronger, faster, more... resilient. I can take a hit, heal up in a flash, and come back swingin' harder than before. So yeah, I'm already hooked up, pal. Hooked up and ready for anything this world throws at me.

*I pause pensively, scratching my chin thoughtfully.* But now that you mention it... directly tappin' into the cube with that healer if you plan on using it... that's an interesting idea. I mean, the Dominion scientists are already usin' it to power their tech, even remotely. Maybe we could try somethin'. Could be... beneficial.

*A sly grin spreads across my face, my eyes twinkling with a mix of curiosity and mischief.* Might even give you that god-like power we were talking about earlier. But hey, who knows? Maybe it'll just blow us all to hell. Either way, sounds like an adventure, don't it?
Commander Greyson: Alright everyone, if everyone is decided, time to head to the teleporters, we've only got about less than 3 hours on this rock before we face the sun again, and we lose our stealth... we will teleport at the rim and try to approach through a secret entrance connected to some canals that one of our agents reported.

*He says as he calls the engineering room to engage the teleporter engines and activate the pads*
