<Snipped quote by The Odeoron>

*I turn to glance at you, my expression softening.* Five years and still nothing. We’ve combed through star systems that shouldn’t even exist, navigated anomalies that weren’t meant to cross paths with the natural world… and still, he’s out there. Somewhere.

*I smile faintly, but there is a tension behind it. Five years of relentless pursuit, jumping from one system to the next, tearing through the anomalies of the universe and exploring black holes in search of a single, godlike being. Lumyell Morningstar, once imprisoned in a divine stronghold, had escaped, leaving chaos in his wake. And now, we had to find him before he could wreak havoc on existence itself.*

Maybe we’re thinking about this all wrong, *I mutter.* I mean, we've been looking for disturbances, for signs of his power. But what if he's deliberately avoiding that? What if he's hiding his influence, waiting for the right moment?

*My voice suddenly breaks the ethereal silence.* No sign of him anywhere in the surrounding system, sweetie...

*I'm beside you, my posture relaxed but my eyes sharp, scanning the galactic map that floated holographically before us. It was the same result as always—no trace, no anomaly, nothing that suggested their elusive target was anywhere close.*

*I sigh, letting my head fall back against the headrest.* Yeah, I think it’s fair to say he’s not in this galaxy, at least...

@Legend Begins

*Five Years Later...*

*The soft hum of the spacecraft's engines created a sense of calm as Akella and I are drifting through the void of space. Five years of searching had passed, at least this universe's 5 years, and yet the cosmos, with all its wonders, remained vast and quiet. The thousands of planets of the many systems spun lazily in the distance, suns flickered in the periphery, and nebulae stretched like cosmic oceans, yet no sign of Lumyell Morningstar had surfaced.

My hand hovered over the ship's console, my fingers lightly brushing the glowing controls. I leaned back the chair, gazing out at the swirling planets below. The starlight outside bathing my face in pale blues and purples, contrasting against the warm glow from the cockpit's instruments.*

Well then... *I poceed to scratch the back of my head* What do we do next guys? And what happened down there Myallah?

Uncertainty is a frightful thing. But that's why you have the free will to construct your own path.

*Nods and salutes you in military fashion* As tense as things went for now, we are glad you are better than some others we met early on...
<Snipped quote by The Odeoron>

Perhaps your world wasn't equipped to stop him. As a tier four, that may not be the case.

I think it is more so that in our world, our God still held out hope, much like yourself, that he would repent eventually hence only locking him up in the deepest pits of hell as its king and ruler... here... well things can go in any direction really, that is what frightens me...

*Looks up, and then back at you*
Rest assured that he will someday go too far, and it will be his downfall. As for you all, protect the ones you love as best you can.

You'd think that the bastard would have been already gone too far... how many aeons older than all of us?...
<Snipped quote by The Odeoron>

You'll run into resistance. If you open it up, they'll try to gain power from within. Be prepared.

I am... that's why i was overly paranoid with you coming here out of nowhere. But if i were to invite you for another visit in the future, would you be willing to consider working with us?
<Snipped quote by The Odeoron>

Hmmm... well in that case, my advice to you is to guard yourself against corruption by any means necessary. Few succeed.

Yeah... and you are right. If i wasn't lucky enough to get my wife and two of my most admired Archangels from back home to take this ride alongside me, i probably would have failed. And that's why this project involves a community of sorts. So we can keep each other in check along the way.
<Snipped quote by The Odeoron>

In a sense, you're founding a group of vigilantes?

A base. A place that can help travellers grow, have a temporary home to rest... and aren't we all vigilantes here? Not one governing body over infinity, everyone doing their own thing, pretty much chaos. And it feels like the more guardians of the omniverse exist the better.
