Koibito payed attention to the Hokage very very diligently. Paying attention to his words, looking for loop holes in his rules. He loved to game the game. This is what all these exams were, games of wit and cunning. Skill or ability was only half the battle. After the Hokage had his little speech, Koibito looked back to Date for his response.

Koibito returned the smile, but his tone didn't seem match it. "I'm doing...normal. You know, same old same old.". Koibitos sadness peaked out a little, which was definitely out of character. He wasn't sure if Date had heard of his recent tragedy, but if he hadn't this wasn't the time nor place for all that. "Of course we will be on a team! But I think We'll need two more to make it a full team. If I had to choose, let's find someone who shares our Genjustu skill. Then maybe we won't need to do so much heavy lifting..."

Looking at all the competition, seeing a few already forming teams right off the Bat. @LadyinInk The Medusa herself already seemed to be interested in the Pair. Maybe she had the same Idea. Then again, Koibito was sure he saw Kyo here running around with his fling. There was definitely options if they wanted to take the Easier more 'intelligent' route to this little competition. If they couldn't get another two that focused on their Genjutsu, then maybe they would have to play it fair and square. Actually having to do the work instead of just taking the prize for some unsuspecting victims.. Koibito wasn't lazy, but he didn't see why he would put all this effort when it wasn't needed.

"So what do you think Date? Want to play it fair and square or let others do it for us? We have options for both. I don't think Kyo or Kiku have a team just yet. Although Kyo might want to bring his Girl which is going against the Genjutsu idea. Honestly I'd take one of our clan any day of the week, but his thang might make him some what of a risk for the team as a whole and I don't know much about her. I'll leave the decision up to you."

Nevermind!
Besides the two players who said they'll only join when the game has already started, I need to know the status of those who said you were interested so far. Also, not to include Kafka since he said he'll have his in Monday.

I hope you guys weren't one of those people who say "Interested" and write no CS. I do remember names for those who make that a habit. It is something that happens too much on this site, and I am not about to encourage it because it makes a very toxic community. So if you are interested, let me know when you plan to write a CS. If you actually are NOT interested, then say so so I can take you off the interest list.

I planned to make the char sheet once it had started and a little more fleshed out. While I understand as being a GM you had people disappear or leave in the beginning(I have done this depending on the player base/lose of inspiration/more interested in something else), but you also have to look at it in our perspective as the player base. Why waste time making the CS if it never kicks off? Not saying that's your intentions or that it won't, but stating interest doesn't mean I'm going to play. Just that I am interested. Still Not saying Im not.

I'll decide if the OOC goes up since it been almost a week since and I already moved on or focusing mainly on others since that time.
Jack was happy to find two people not very concerned by the Joke. Nothing needed to be discussed as it was obvious they also didn't believe the pile of bullshit that the giant Monster spewed out. He put his hand up declining the offer for the weapon. "I'm a Tinker so I only use Guns and stuff like that. Thanks though! I think it is a good idea to get going though." Jack said with a wide smile, standing straight with his hands at his hips.

"Well... We could get moving to the nearby dungeon. While everyone is still being spooked, we could get an advantage with getting more exp for just us three. Although lets be careful... It would be a shame to get booted of the game this quick."

Before either could reply Jack accepted the Party invite and started heading off to the Dungeon known as 'The Ravine' location. Hopefully there would be a few monster on the way to get warmed up to the combat before they had to engage anything that took all three of them to fight. Jack zoned out a little thinking of all the cool things this Game had to offer. Before being ripped from time and space and sent here, he was just battling this little Goblin. He didn't even get to attack it before the rather rude interruption of his gameplay.

The Sun Rise was always beautiful to Koibito. His favorite part was when you could see the horizon separated into light and darkness. Almost clearly painting a line at where the edge of the Earth lied. It was one of the few things he still enjoyed in this world.

Koibito had been up already for several hours. At first the shine of the Moon keeping him company, but even he had to leave for the Morning. The birds chirping to wake the Sun for his shift. Their on the roof of his home, the Uchiha sat with a match in his hand and a hand rolled cigarette in his mouth. With a snap of his fingers, the Match was lit. Lighting his Cigarette with it and then moving it to the First note he had received.

Hello, Koibito. Few have paid great attention to you ever since the grisly events that occurred to your family nearly two years ago. With many of us in agreement, we have given you this gift of opportunity. You and possibly a few others will be representing the Uchiha Clan in the upcoming Jonin Exam. We are sure you will continue to bring Honor to the Uchiha. Good luck.

The letter burned fast. The remains being blown into the wind as it disintegrated in Koibito's hand. Their was also a second letter. The official one that the Hokage had sent to the lucky few. It gave him clear instructions where to go and would begin in a few hours. With a sigh, Koibito stretched his arms and began to head back inside. Getting ready to arrive at the Exam Stadium.

Koibito seemed to arrive a little later compared to Everyone else. Certainly not late, but definitely not early. He saw a few familiar faces here and there, but a lot of unfamiliar faces were not natives of the Leaf. From their Forehead Protector they seemed to have hailed from Iwagakure. Koibito was indifferent to the Village and its Shinobi, but it was certainly was a surprise to see them. For now he didn't give them any special attention. Koibito moving into the crowd of people offering friendly greetings to familiar faces before the Hokage would deliver his usual motivating Pre-Exam speech.

In the corner of his eye he saw a Familiar friend. It had been awhile since they last seen each other, but he was happy to see a actual Friend here. Coming from behind he greeted him.
Long time no see man. Koibito said, lightly hitting Date on his shoulder. "Hows your family doing? Especially your Mo-"

Koibito stopped himself short with a sigh. He had heard what happened to his Mother and while it wasn't a secret, it probably was a little to sensitive of a topic to talk about. Especially after not seeing his good friend in a long while.

Spooky and Friend

@13org@IceHeart

Spooky didn't noticed the Undead at first, but could hear the groans of the Zombies and then the clattering of the tattered armor of the skeletons filled the air. He knew the what the hidden enemies that were approached, before he could see them. He also didn't feel as if they were a threat to him. Almost as if they were his allies...

Regardless, they probably weren't there for him. More like their interest lied with his much smaller friend. Spooky wasn't sure the combat prowess of his ally so he moved up first. Moving forward slowly, at a equal pace of the Zombies. Each step he took threw loose grass and dust around his Sabatons. His massive weight causing a loud thud that could be distinctly heard over all the sound that the Undead hoard was making.

It didn't take long for him to meet the first group of Zombies. With just a few feet between the behemoth and the rotting bodies, Spooky drew his sword. Unsurprisingly enough, it took forever. He expected the massive blade to take some time, but it was slower than he could had imagined. So slow the zombies had already closed in on him, several of them biting down on his armor to just break their jaw against his hard Unholy armor. Unmoved by their weak attacks, Spooky swung the blade horizontally. The blade glowing a bright gold as it separated the zombies torso from their legs.

As the bodies went flying, his blade dropped hard to the floor beneath him. Almost making Spooky trip forward on its weight. He turned back and looked at Nyna. His embarrassed smile hidden under his cloak and armor. Not paying any attention to the Undead hoard circling him.
Dear Players,

everything you have heard from Malgoth is true, there is no malfunction in our game. The news channels you saw were real and this is not just some practical joke from us. This is no longer a simple game but a fight for survival. But nonetheless, we hope you enjoy your gaming experience and find whatever you are looking for in the world of Talrae. One more thing...

Good Luck.

Jack laughed so hard he had dropped to his knees. This was so much bullshit. Well, the log off button wasn't working, but people dying? Yeah, right! How would something like that even be released to the public without the Government looking for things that could zap people brains to mush. It was probably a huge joke, once a player died they probably just got forced logged off. Those new clips all fake or per-recorded. He could only imagine the whole story behind this. Fucking Epic. The game was as real as life, but wasn't real life. So how to fix that? Make everyone feel they're still vulnerable. There is a single thing every human cannot escape. Death.

People around him didn't seem to share the same attitude... Most were panicking, some running off scared while others rolled up to a ball and cried. It was honestly pretty embarrassing. Did everyone truly believe this nonsense? No. For Jack this would be to good to be true. What this would mean for the future of game design and just VR tech in general. Able to trap people against their will. Knowing vaguely how these Wave Gear Systems worked, it was legitimately impossible for this to happen. Or at least impossible by the Companies spec sheet.

Wiping the remaining laughing tears from his face, he noticed a Duo at the center who didn't seem all to worried about this. Finally people who are not numskulls.

"You look ready to fight," the Magess remarked. "Come with me?"

Jack heard those words before popping in. "That's what I'm talking about! Have room for a third?"

Are you listening?!?" *finally turns to them waving item angrily* "I"m sorry but some of us here are pay to play!"
