Oh boy imma be up late tonight
We almost there meng, hang in there.
Meeting A Contact...

Upon entering Dustorne, Tyr split from the group to let them explore till they'd meet again in Sunderland's court. Arriving in the specified tavern, Tyr noticed the smile Glodin gave off upon seeing her. "Didn't think you'd be the one bossing me around after you gave me that offer a year ago, Red.", Tyr shrugged her shoulders with an amused smirk on her face. "Funny how things turn out, eh? We'll be heading up to the keep later tonight, Evelyn has some information for us before we make way for Kings Gate", Tyr took the outfits from Glodin, stepping aside for Karl and Kaathe to come towards the table. She knew where things would turn for those three and she'd prefer to get these clothes to the group before they'd be ruined by spilt ale. "Typical sellsword attire, doesn't reveal us as watchers nor does it tie us to Farendar. Clever as always, Sunderland", Tyr commented to herself as she made her way to the keep, thankfully she knew her way around the city so she avoided the busy streets that remained intact after the seige.

The Assembly

As everyone gave their introductions, Irisara stood a short distance from the group, closer to the painted glass windows of the hall. The sireni gazed at the images portrayed in the large windows, wondering what tales of this world they told. It was only at the last possible second was her attention brought back to the assembly, just in time to notice Marcus unlock the holster of his weapon and Tyr unsheathe her dagger halfway. Her eyes squinted out of curiosity but her attention was brought when she heard Evelyn ask her for her name. "I-Irisara Silean, serah", Iris hurried to answer as she hoped not to anger the noblewoman, unaware of her character outside of legends. "I've heard your name before, my Templars along the coast refer to you as 'The Pirate Queen of The Amaranthia', nevertheless I welcome you to Dustorne. Indeed, I welcome all of you to my city though I wish you'd view it in its days of old"

"High Commander Lady Evelyn Sunderland, it is a pleasure to see your lovely face once again.", Glodin's words were met with a smile and a bow as Evelyn replied, "It is good to see you as well, Glodin. I see you and Karl have made it here without destroying a tavern on your way". Evelyn let out a slight chuckle before returning to address the group as a whole. "I assume none of you know much as to your mission other than where you're headed, the new Ocular has a habit of leaving his men in the dark. What I can tell you is that as of a month ago, a Templar scouting party was sent into Talmaria by way of Kings' Gate to try and locate the Talmer people. The expected status report never arrived within the designated time. A second team was then sent in but found those missing Templars sacking a village within our realm. Our men had no choice but to cut down the traitors, only to find they were corrupted into vampires. The second team explored further into the realm of Talmaria when reports say they stumbled upon a man raving about vampires and something about a prophecy. Tyr, I have the full report should you or your team wish to read it yourselves. Shortly after finding the man, the group decided to return to their base. Before they re-entered the realm, the group was picked off one by one until only two remained. One succumbed to his wounds and the other yet lives. Whatever their purpose for bringing attention to themselves, the issue is clear that a group of vampires has established a presence near Kings' Gate. The Ocular and myself wish for you to go there and record whatever information you can gather about this menace. I ask out of concern for you all not to directly confront them unless you believe yourselves capable of handling them. If that's not the case, send a raven and I will personally march an entire company of Templars to your aid. One hundred and fifty of the best knights I can offer will rush to your aid, you have my word of this"

Tyr bowed low, thankful that finally her group wasn't flying blind. "Thank you, Evelyn, we will make our way there as soon as possible", Tyr was about to turn to head for the exit when she was stopped by Evelyn. "I can't in good conscience let you all leave after you've traveled so far. Stay till morning, rooms have been prepared for each of you and you have free reign of the keep and city", Tyr turned back to face Evelyn and thanked her once more before heading towards her room, signalling Marcus to follow.
"Oh...sorry, I've been on edge since last night, Adrian was put back a bit by the sudden blur that was Nótt rushing around him. He could have sworn he took those off when he got inside but it must have been nerves. "I tried to get out of the city after you two showed up at the ambush site but once I found out about the checkpoints I decided to try and find you", swinging around his backpack, pulling out a small medkit which lay amongst a number of other things in the bag. "I was one of those metas you freed from the convoy. After you broke us out, I headed back to my place and grabbed a few things. I went back to the ambush site a few hours later to see if I could grab any intel off the bodies. Unfortunately I chose the wrong time and had to hide amongst the crowd when the Wardens showed up", Adrian handed the medkit to Nótt who was admittedly a little close for comfort. "Anyways, after you two got out of there, the Wardens sped off too. My guess, to a blacksite, this sort of thing doesn't get ignored by them. We should probably look for those metas on the convoy list and get them and ourselves out of the city"

Thorne hadn't realized how negative he'd been till Avis said that. "Shit, I'm turning into my dad", he thought to himself before taking off his mask. "Kid's already in character. Abigail, that one seriously need to schedule a few vacation days", Thorne put his rifle down on the command center table but kept his sidearm holstered inside his coat. "C'mon, Gray, we got clothes shopping to do", Thorne walked over to Morgan who was looking down the sights of her weapon. Thorne grabbed it by the barrel and aimed it down before pulling it out of her hands, placing it on the table as well. "Wonderful, I get to experience the joy of family life", she said in an unenthusiastic tone as she followed Thorne towards the command center exit. "If it makes you feel any better, the kid's adopted"

"Who said the kid was the problem?", Thorne had to try hard to stifle his laughter before turning to Daemon. "Unless you want to come with us, perhaps you could increase our collar distance radius. I'd rather not have a burn mark on my neck for the next few days"

Once in the garage, Thorne noticed Avis sitting in the backseat of one of the grey SUVs. Nudging Gray as they approached Thorne had an interesting look on his face as he got his fellow agent's attention. "Check it out, Kerch got inside Gray", Thorne looked for some sign of humor being found by Morgan but instead all he got was a stern stare accompanied by, "Just remember how close to me you'll be for the rest of the day". Once inside the SUV, Thorne looked back to Kerch before starting the ignition. "Well, Kerch, today's your lucky day. We're going on a little family outing today. We need to go undercover so first we'll hit up some clothes stores then do some sightseeing, maybe look for those escaped metas while we're out there", Thorne was about to drive out the car when Gray grabbed the steering wheel.

"I don't know what you're doing, we still need confirmation from the handler or else the farthest we're going is a couple blocks down the street"

"I probably should've waited for confirmation...", Thorne sat there awkwardly as there was nothing much left to do but wait. "Well fuck it, I'm not sitting here. Let's walk around till we hear from those two", Thorne got out of the car and began walking towards the garage exit. Morgan looked back at Kerch through the rear view mirror saying, "What did you say after you called me 'Momma Bear'?" Morgan let out a small smirk before getting out of the car after Thorne. "Nobody talks to me like that, kid's got guts, I'll give him that"
Oh wait did you all think Adrian had the scarf over his face? I had it on his neck but that's cool, ma boi Adrian got this under control.
Doh I'll be posting in a minute, just gotta deal with some stuff over here!
Sounds good to me
@Ace of flames01 ey yo, remember The Gifted theme song?

Also, the new guy is in the Char Tab, check him out.
You heard him Sarge, let's get out there already. I'd rather be out on the hunt than in here all day. I see enough time in a cell as it is", Gray said mockingly at Thorne as she looked to Avis with some hint of affirmation. Thorne's four eyes darted between the two of them then to Dr. Carson then back to the two agents before he finally shook his head and looked to the command center monitor. "While I appreciate the determination from the both of you-glad to see you two getting along by the way-I'd prefer we move in on our culprits with more than gadgets and enthusiasm", Thorne looked to Dr. Carson who handed him a tablet with a list of the blacksite's inventory items. "The cameras don't show everything but from what I've seen, our culprits are a pyrokinetic and a speedster/illusionist. During last night's spectacle, I managed to get a read on the pyro's sig and she's only able to use her powers with a source. I don't know about the rest of you but I didn't see a propane tank on her so I'm guessing she carries a lighter on her person. If we can remove that from her she's an easy capture. Our real threat will be the speedster/illusionist. I read that file Daemon gave to Abigail and that thing is a bioweapon, a metahuman that underwent severe cybernetic augmentation the extent of which I've never seen before. I doubt that thing even has a hint of humanity in it anymore. The best way I think we can handle it is to remove its ability to activate its exoskeleton. How exactly we do that? I have no clue. As for our attack strategy, once we locate their hideout we'll know exactly how to move on them but for now the plan is this: Gray will approach the location, her psychosis field should let her reach them without being seen or having to enter the building if they're in one. She'll get them riled up, turning on eachother, that's when Daemon storms in and hits them with a pulse blast, that should surpress their powers long enough for Kerch to run in and immobilize the cyber speedster long enough for Daemon to subdue it. The pyro will be alone by then so we can simply overwhelm her with hydrobombs. If all things go according to plan-which I somewhat doubt it will-we should have two rogues in holding by the end of the day", Thorne looked to the team for any questions they might have. Dr. Carson would obviously remain at command to oversee the operation by street cams and give area intel for the team. As for Gray, the plan was fine for her as she said, "I'll be in the car, I doubt we're taking the APC if we want to sneak up on them". Looking to Kerch she asked,"You coming kid? Or are you waiting for big boss to hold your hand over there"

Just as the barmaid headed into the kitchen, a young man entered the bar with a look of haste about him. His eyes were covered by dark shades and he wore a dark blue hoodie with a black scarf around his neck. Sitting beside Sophie and Nott, he looked around the bar before trying his best to talk subtly to the two of them. "Are you sure this is the best place to hide out after a Warden Squad is sent on you? I don't mean to criticize, but there is little to no security here"
@OtomostheCrazyah fuck my bad man, I wanted us to move onto Dustorne so the ohers waiting could jump in. you could put that Kaathe was disovered but his identity was confirmed by Tyr so you don't have to hide the whole time. I tried to write the post in way that gave space for everyone to fill in their own charcter's recollection of events up to where we are now
