I used to love the holiday season as a kid, but these days I’m terrified that the strange man in red is going to break into my home again and leave another suspicious package under one of my plants.

Alright, that's it! I've had enough of this damn heat. Bring me my matches, it’s time to burn the sun down.

If there are 3600 rats living in my bones and I eat one every second, how long will it take me to eat all the rats? Assume each rat undergoes binary fission exactly once every hour.

Adventurer, the rats in my basement have merged into a fractal entity! I will pay you 4 silver coins to slay the infinite rat(s) in my basement.

Can we delay evolving upon reaching level 100 or is it pretty automatic?
1:00 am post number 2.
One moment Aya had paused to examine some strangely behaved bugs that were lying perfectly still on the ground, her ever-growing hunger prompting her to ponder whether she could safely eat them or not, the next moment she'd noticed the harvest sloth moving to eat some of said motionless bugs, an orange substance beginning to emanate from its back as it did so. Aya had freaked out at that point, quickly moving out of range of the expanding cloud of whatever that was and scrunching a portion of the garment she wore over her nose and mouth for good measure. Ragi, on the other hand, was not so fortunate, comically rag-dolling to the ground before Aya even had the chance to look.

Shit shit shit! Was her sister dead!? The beginnings of a catastrophic meltdown were beginning to form within Aya's mind, only to be abruptly cut short by a confirmation of okayness from the otherwise motionless Ragi, with further assurances that this was all intentional an intentional part of the plan going a long way to preventing the goblin from freaking out further. Aya cursed herself for being so stupid once again, she'd made the assumption that Ragi was operating off only the same logic and knowledge as herself, seeing the potential the harvest sloth held but being in the dark as to the specifics, but now that Aya thought about it, of course, Ragi new what the sloth did, she'd probably worked it out the moment she saw the sloth. Hell knowing her sister she may well have even noticed the paralyzed insects and worked out what the sloth did before she'd ever even seen the creature.

As Ragi had said, this was all a part of the plan. A part of her test. More importantly, the plan was pretty clearly intended to double as a message, a way for Ragi to indirectly tell Aya that she was putting a significant amount of faith and trust into her. Why else would the goblin have willingly paralysed herself, when simply lying down would have been just as effective a ploy? Filled with a newfound determination Aya gave her sister a thumbs up that she almost certainly could not see and set to work.

First thing first, Aya didn't want to risk any weak points in the randomly bunched clothing she was hoping would filter the paralyzing miasma so stepping further away from the danger zone she made an attempt at folding the cloth to hopefully cover mouth and nose a little more evenly. Aya had already dropped the sticks she'd been carrying when she'd moved to get away from the harvest sloth and now more than anything she'd need something with which to dispatch anything Ragi managed to lure in, so after a quick search, Aya palmed a rock about as large as she could comfortably swing one-handed. Sure it wasn't the most effective weapon by any means, but it wasn't like it needed to be when the enemy was going to be immobilised beforehand.

Some morbidly curious part of her goblin mind urged Aya to move in and try to work out just how the paralysation worked and already she had begun to formulate ideas for how the creature might be a great asset on a hunt. In all likelihood, its docility was the result of any would preditors getting gassed with what she assumed were spores, should they get to close. Still, Aya couldn't afford to be distracted right now while Ragi was putting so much trust into her, so she suppressed her curiosity for the time being and instead gave her best shot at hiding herself somewhere nearby.

So do you want to post 1st? Or should I just write some shenanigans that will get Ragi killed? :3

Up to you which way we go, the Ragi dying bit should maybe be a plan B. Depending on the effectiveness of a couple of layers of shitty cloth and a hand against the spores, Aya's probably going to either try and investigate for a solution or suffer the same fate as Ragi.
Oh good, I was momentarily worried we'd have instance number two of goblin gets naked to deal with a monster, in which case I was going to seriously start questioning your monster design.
RIP Ragi
Was nice knowing you girl T_T

Ragi can't die yet! How will she become the supreme leader of all goblin kind?

@RC3 I have not one, not two, not four, but three questions for you. Are the goblins wearing anything other than loincloths? I'm guessing not given Saito. Are the goblins loincloths made of cloth or are they more like loin-hides? And do the spores seem to be specifically coming from the mushrooms on the harvest sloths back or just its back in general?
It was at this point that I realised the players were worse than the goblins.
If any of you ever need someone to find connections where none exist, you know which goblins to go to.

Honestly, goblin start a drug cartel in another world seems like an isekai I'd read.
Aya was taken aback by her sister's response. Why was she stammering? And what did she mean by 'low-level job'? The entire plan hinged off it... And go together?! Why would Ragi want to work so closely with Aya, wouldn't that reduce efficiency and hinder Ragi's plans? Aya's mind raced as she tried to figure out her sister's intentions. Understanding people was hard, damn it!

Wait. What if this was a test? If Ragi was truly planning on establishing herself as ruler of the goblins, then it only made sense that she would want to test her subjects and with Bug lying exhausted in a hole and Twig nowhere to be seen that only left Aya for her to test. Yeah, now that Aya thought about it her sister presenting a third option had clearly been a calculated suggestion on her part. Not only would it allow her to see how Aya adapted to unforeseen circumstances, but it would put Ragi in a position to closely observe Aya and get a feel for her skills and capabilities. Now beginning to see a clearer picture as to the extent of her sister's brilliance, Aya felt her grin grow somehow wider still, as her panic kicked up by an order of magnitude and she wondered just how many steps ahead of her Ragi truly was.

"Ahh... good suggestion sister...", Aya began. Shit, there was no way she was going to prove her worth to Ragi sounding so unconfident. Why did communicating have to be so hard? "I think we should bring the mushroom sloth thingy with us for now, I'm not sure how difficult it would be to try and explain agriculture to the others...", Aya suggested, hoping to show that she was thinking things through, "And I'll also collect any good sticks we see on the way as well...".

Had she forgotten about anything? Sure felt like it, but Aya couldn't think of anything at that moment and waiting around would bring its own set of problems, so Aya instead considered which direction they should search in. Anything of interest in the direction Ragi had gone would have already been spotted by her sister, Aya didn't trust Twig not to have scared off any potential prey near him and she hadn't seen anything while walking from the cave, which only left one direction for the duo to explore. With that in mind, Aya wordlessly set out. She'd intended to seem confident in her silence but immediately regretted the decision, realising that it probably just made her look bad at communicating instead, not that that was an unfair assessment...
