I used to love the holiday season as a kid, but these days I’m terrified that the strange man in red is going to break into my home again and leave another suspicious package under one of my plants.

Alright, that's it! I've had enough of this damn heat. Bring me my matches, it’s time to burn the sun down.

If there are 3600 rats living in my bones and I eat one every second, how long will it take me to eat all the rats? Assume each rat undergoes binary fission exactly once every hour.

Adventurer, the rats in my basement have merged into a fractal entity! I will pay you 4 silver coins to slay the infinite rat(s) in my basement.
Subject MY-1801-FJ is a male of Chinese-Australian descent, having straight black hair and brown eyes. His height is below average for his age and he possesses little by way of fat or muscle mass, being only 169cm tall and weighing 31kg. Due to limitations imposed by his anomalous nature, MY-1801-FJ is easily identified by the length of his hair, coming in at ~112 cm long or 66% of his total height.
Subject has been noted to wear the male and female standard-issue uniforms interchangeably (see Privileges).
Background:
On [VOID] facility staff were made aware of an anomalous occurrence at the site of a vehicular collision in [VOID] Australia. The anomaly was first identified by civilian emergency response workers who described it as an unidentified heat source that grew more intense with time. As view of the anomaly was obstructed by wreckage piled atop of it, it was initially assumed to be a mundane chemical fire, and subsequently, facility staff were not made aware of the issue until 6 hours after the anomalies appearance.
Due to the intense heat that had been generated and the obstruction by the wreckage, Facility staff were unable to neutralise the anomaly for a further 9 hours, after which an ooze like substance emerged from beneath what remained of the wreckage. Multiple witnesses have stated that the substance appeared to move with something like a rudimentary intelligence, with one witness further clarifying that "It spread and contracted in a similar pattern to a slime mould". The substance was observed to be excreting a secondary material that continuously boiled away and appeared to be the source of the heat.
After emerging, facility staff were able to successfully cool the anomaly, upon which it rapidly formed into an infant male and was taken into facility custody. [EDIT: THE ANOMALOUS INDIVIDUAL, 1801 (CLASSIFICATION PENDING), HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED AS FELIX JONES. BIOLOGICAL PARENTS, [VOID] AND [VOID] WERE BOTH KILLED IN THE INCIDENT ABOVE, NO OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS HAVE COME FORWARD AT THIS TIME.]
Powers:
MY-1801-FJ possesses an adaptive ability to automatically destroy and repair his personal biomass.
Degeneration: Any material produced by MY-1801-FJ’s body will begin to degenerate within roughly 1 second of being damaged or separated from his primary mass, decaying with a half-life of about 0.4 seconds. As material degenerates, some of it is lost as heat. In cases where only a small portion degenerates the heat generated is negligible, however with continuous degeneration, the heat can quickly compound, especially in environments where the heat cannot vent. As MY-1801-FJ’s body possesses no abnormal resistance to heat, it is possible for his degeneration to begin hurting him should he sustain enough damage in a short period of time. It is hypothesised that MY-1801-FJ’s degeneration is actually a conversion of matter to energy, however, this is yet to be confirmed (see Researcher Notes).
[EDIT 3: As of [VOID] MY-1801-FJ’s degeneration has been observed to remove excess acids from his body. It is hence assumed that MY-1801-FJ’s degeneration shares his regenerations adaptability (see Regeneration).]
Regeneration: Any of MY-1801-FJ’s biological material damaged or removed from his body will begin to produce a reddish substance similar in appearance to coagulated blood at a rate of 3.6 kg/sec. This “regenerative substance” will conform to the damaged site and convert itself into undamaged flesh in a similar pattern to degeneration. The regenerative substance can be moulded by hand with relative ease and will degenerate if separated from the main body mass, but otherwise is next to impossible to destroy. [Note: 1801 seemingly cannot regenerate his nails. The reason for this distinction is yet to be determined.] Prior to MY-1801-FJ being brought into the facility, his regenerative substance was observed escaping from underneath an overturned semi-trailer. This event occurred after a period of several hours of degeneration and regeneration, during which MY-1801-FJ was immobile and almost certainly unable to fully regenerate given the confined space. Owing to this event it is hypothesised that MY-1801-FJ’s regenerative abilities have some limited capacity to adapt. Necessary stimuli for this to occur are yet to be ascertained.
[EDIT 1: The adaptive capacity of MY-1801-FJ’s regeneration has successfully been confirmed. Following Experiment [VOID], a 36-hour stay in a vacuum MY-1801-FJ’s regeneration has begun generating oxygen prior to the point of cellular damage from deprivation. See experiment logs for more details.]
[EDIT 2: A comprehensive review of footage featuring MY-1801-FJ’s regeneration has revealed that while there has been no increase in the speed regenerative substance is generated, the order that parts are generated has gradually optimised itself over time. It is currently assumed that this adaptability is limited to changing the application of the anomaly, without affecting the underlying mechanics or potency. Given this limitation and the slow speed of adaptation, the risk of an adaptive singularity occurring has been deemed as negligible.]
Privileges:
Stuffed Toy: A knitted doll collected from MY-1801-FJ’s birth home when he first brought into Facility B.
Souvenirs: MY-1801-FJ is regularly supplied with various souvenirs and trinkets from outside Facility B. [Note: Subject has no real experience outside of the facility so anything should do.]
Uniforms: Subject has requested copies of various uniforms seen around the facility. Request for uniforms matching those of facility staff or patches for other anomalous individual categorisations have been denied, however, female uniforms have been supplied.
Desk: MY-1801-FJ has been provided with a desk and chair.
Extended Educational Materials: MY-1801-FJ is to be provided with standard educational materials in addition to material covering any other subject he requests within reason.
[SUBJECT NOTE: Despite the subjects generally excellent corporation and behaviour, MY-1801-FJ makes very few privileges claims.]
Researcher Notes:
All attempts to perform an in-depth analysis of 1801’s biology have thus far proven impossible. Attempts to prevent regeneration, both physically and chemically all either failed or generated too much heat to continue. Tissue samples cannot be maintained long enough for analysis.
-Researcher A. Harvey
Subject is generally a very quiet and exceptionally well-behaved research subject. He rarely puts up much resistance to testing, though he does tend to exhibit signs of distress prior to and proceeding sessions of prolonged stress testing (see experiment logs [VOID] and [VOID]).
-Researcher Laine
Should degeneration turn out to in fact be a process by which matter is converted to energy and stored as is currently predicted, then given predicted the ratio of absorption to losses and the amount of matter MY-1801-FJ’s is estimated to have degenerated through natural processes alone, the subject may represent a catastrophic hazard upon his demise, dependant on if and how that energy is released. While energy storage is currently only the prevalent hypothesis as to the mechanics 1801’s abilities until it can be conclusively confirmed or denied care should be taken regarding any tests attempting to bypass his regeneration.
-Researcher Brown
[RESEARCH NOTE: UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE SPECIAL CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED BEFORE PERFORMING ANY TESTS ON MY-1801-FJ THAT, ATTEMPT TO BYPASS SUBJECTS ABILITIES OR WHICH INVOLVE DIMENSIONAL MANIPULATION OR ENERGY SIPHONING.]
Genichiro hadn’t ever really been a fan of crowds. A few years ago he probably would have said it was all the noise that bothered him, but now, even as familiar as he’d become with listening to constant chatter Genichiro still felt uncomfortable. Perhaps it was time to just give in and admit he was a bit of an introvert. “Ne̴̯͋r̵͉̔d.” “Hav̸͙̏e yo̵͔͝u̴̺̾ trie̷͖̓d just̴͍̐ talki̸̹͊n̷̛̥g?” “Oḧ̷̠́,̶̛̹ I k̶̜͒no̴͚̿w! Why dő̷̘ṇ̵̚’t you jus̵̻̈́t as̴̃ͅk̸̬͛ me ho̵̻̕w to extr̷͎̈́o̵͎͠vert̶͐ͅ?” Of course, the chatter was particularly noisy right now, numerous excited streams of exposition and babble. Normally when they got this excited it meant Genichiro would be able to infer something out of the voices, but right now it seemed like the voices' interests were thoroughly divided making it hard to pick out any patterns. “S̷̢̿hi̴͈̚ny!̷͐ͅ Shin̴̙͋y̸͓̎! S̴̡̉hi̶͍͊ny!” “Are s̶̤͠w̷̖͋ŏ̷̡rds mea̸̘̓n̵͔͘t to ta̸͖͠l̸̍͜k?” “Whǎ̸̪t̵̡͠ doe̵̮͝s ̴̭͘k̷̩͠itsṳ̷͑n̸̪̽e tast̶͑͜e lį̴̉k̷̦͠e?” Ignoring some of the more detestable comments being made in his head, Genichiro scanned the room for a clue as to where he was meant to go. He hated doing things like this, it always ended up feeling awkward, looking around like he hadn't the first clue as to what he was meant to be doing, which admittedly was pretty much exactly the case. Worse yet would be having to go up and ask someone for directions, which it was looking like he’d inevitably have to do. Logically speaking most people were probably as confused as he was before their first mission, so it wasn’t like anyone was going to judge him too harshly, not that that thought helped. “Acẗ̶͍́û̸͇ally, eve̵̲͆ry̷͙̆one ju̴̜͌st haṭ̴͂es yo̷̬̿u!” “I’m g̴̪͝oing̵͚̾ to̵̼̽ pre̶̼͒t̸̪͛end not̶̬̂ to̷̦͝ kn̵̽ͅow yo̸͚̎u̷̩̔.” “Is tha̶͍̚t̴̼͆ man ̷̠̆a̴̘͘ dinő̵̹s̴̱͐aur?̸̯̈́” With a sigh, Genichiro approached the woman, or rather the man according to the voices, that appeared to be offering people bentos. “Um… you mentioned something about missions? You wouldn’t happen to know where I’m meant to go for those by any chance? Sorry, I’m kind of new here. To missions that is…” Genichiro glanced over at the bentos, trying to ignore several voices that were insisting that they were in fact poisoned or otherwise deadly weapons in disguise. “Please shut up... oh. Er- apologies, I didn’t mean you…” “Hah̶̠͝a̷̛͖hahǎ̸͚!̷̯͋” “Wel̴̟̕l̵̝̎ thi̵̱͝s is̷̝͛ embar̷͎̚r̶̙̀assing.” “I̴̝͘’̸͙̈́m teḻ̵̐l̶̼̑ing yo̶̝̍ü̸͙, t̶̜́haẗ̶̟́’s a bö̶͕́mb in disġ̷͔ų̷͒ise!̵̠̌”
I'll probably want to change some things when it isn't 4 am and I'm fully awake, but this is mostly done.

Appearance:
Genichiro is a man of rather unassuming appearance, both in terms of physical characteristics and presentation. Scrawny, with dark hair and eyes, and a slightly bad posture, there’s nothing about Genichiro that really stands out in a crowd. Even in terms of clothing he’s dull, tending towards plain clothing and muted colours. "Ug̵̡̒l̷̹̊y.̴̖̈́" "I ̴͚̈t̴̜̎hi̵̳̔n̷̡͋k yo̸̦̐u're p̵̢̿retty..̶̫̇." Personality:
Genichiro is very curious, the kind of person who desires to understand every new thing he sees, though nowadays he’s a little more cautious about that sort of thing than he used to be. "Ï̶͔ ș̵̿aid Ị̸̍ wa̸͈͝s̵͍̕ sor̷̪̓r̴̦͋y...̷̡̎" He could be described as being quite nerdy and certainly, he tends towards shyness when meeting new people, but he tries to be at least a little outgoing and gets over his shyness with new people quickly enough for it to be more of a barrier to entry than an ongoing hindrance when interacting with him. Hooking him with an interesting topic, particularly one rooted in science or philosophy is the most surefire way to break past his barriers. "F̸̤̌u̸̦̎ckin̵̝̍g̶͙͊ nerd̸̫̆!" "Lǫ̴͆ser̸͚̓!" At times Genichiro can come across as a bit of a know it all, between being well studied and his tendency to correct people on minor technical details. He doesn’t really mean any harm by this, more that his own curiosity sees him wanting to know as much as possible himself and he assumes that others would also feel the same way and want to be corrected when they make mistakes. "You̴̥̿ thin̶̡͠k̵̹̎ you'̶͚̊ṟ̴͠e smar̵̪͊t? Ju̶̝̔s̵͔̀t wȃ̸̫ḯ̷̳t tiḽ̶̕l̴̜̀ yoů̷̮ get̵̬̍ a loà̴̙d̴̫̑ of us̸̛͉!" Genichiro expresses a strong sense of empathy and desire to do what he can to help others. He wishes to be able to use his aspect as a tool to further that goal and fully believes that he could use its knowledge to solve all manner of problems on a global scale and even improve living standards beyond that. Unfortunately, experience has led him to largely avoid the use of his aspect to any great extent, in service to that goal or otherwise, at least until he can get a better grip on his power. In addition to his actual personality, tend to lead people into thinking he’s anywhere from weird to downright insane. His reactions to his aspects commentary, tendency to talk to himself, a habit of doing several things at once, and depending on how many questions he’s asked recently, sudden and erratic changes in personality, all tend to arouse suspicion in those around Genichiro, especially considering that without any physical manifestation to his aspect, as is common in most specialists, his behaviors are somewhat harder to dismiss as supernatural bullshit to outside observers. History:
As far as most people that care to ask are concerned, up until the accident and even a while beyond it, Genichiro led a pretty normal life as a student, academically gifted and from a family on the poorer side of things, but otherwise perfectly normal. When he was 17 however, Genichiro got into a traffic accident and from there, things went downhill pretty quickly. While the injuries themselves weren’t anything that he wasn’t able to recover from, it certainly didn’t help with the rough patch his family was going through financially, and worse still, proceeding the event Genichiro gradually began to hear whispers, ones that seemed to grow in variety and intensity as time went on. "Plë̸͕a̵͕̾se sto̶͘ͅṕ̸͚, it'̵̞̓s em̷̞̔b̸̛̰arr̷̽͜aṡ̸̢s̵̡̃ing wĥ̶̥e̵̡͝n yȏ̴̫ṳ̶͒ tal̷̩̎k̷͇̑ ab̶̠̐o̷̜̚ut ̴̹̃us̴̥͂!̸̣̃" Not wanting to further burden his family, Genichiro had kept quiet about his problem. He found he could, at least a first, ignore the voices if he tried hard enough. It was hard at times to ignore some of the nastier comments the voices made, especially as they grew more numerous, but Genichiro figured that it would have to stop getting worse eventually and when that happened, he could simply learn to live with it. "He̶̯̋h̴̖́e" "Gö̷̻o̸͉͗d i̴̞͐d̵̡̾ea tḫ̴̉a̷̜̓t.̷̜̀" When the voices started telling him things that he himself didn’t already know Genichiro responded with denial, reasoning away any possibility of the supernatural. Knowing things about people he shouldn’t? Must have overheard someone gossiping. Knowledge of events halfway around the world? Probably heard it on TV. Things he was certain he hadn’t learned anywhere? It was probably like deja vu and his brain was simply drawing connections that didn’t actually exist. Genichiro likes to tell people that it wasn’t until the day he said he’d believe it if he were given the winning lotto numbers and he actually was, that he began to believe that there might be something more to the voices than simple head trauma. "N̷̡̈ō̷͔thiň̴̻' t̵̼͘o̶͔̕ sȩ̴̎e he̴̪̊r̷͉̕e..̴̒ͅ." Things moved quickly after he realised that he could just speak to the voices and for the most part they seemed eager to talk, especially if that entailed Genichiro asking them questions, though some answers were seemingly off-limits. He had a plan now, he’d finish off his schooling with flying colours and move on to pursue higher education, making a tonne of money on the side while did so, he certainly wouldn’t be a burden if he could pull that off, and with the voices doing so would be trivial. After that maybe he could revolutionise medicine or something. "Is̸̳̐ t̸͎̉hat leg̷͍͂ã̴͍l?" "Sh̷̘͆u̴̟͛t up, w̷̥̏e go̸̼̿n̸̡̋na b̴̻̑e lo̷̯̿a̸̹͐ded̵̥̾!" Genichiro's plan at first went off without a hitch, and though those close to him noticed a gradual change in his personality as he became more reliant on the voices for guidance, becoming more erratic and distractible as he went along, no one really wanted to comment on it. While he’d been good at academics before, now he was actively thriving. It wasn’t until he’d finished with secondary education that his occupants decided they were done with the waiting game and things took a turn for the worse. "Th̴͍̎ĩ̷̩ngs a̵̩̅b̷̠̋out t̴̨̽o̶̠̐ ge̸̛̜t goȍ̵͇d̶̘̽!" What happened next isn’t exactly something that Genichiro is willing to talk about and the specifics have been kept pretty much confidential by the agency. What is know is that Genichiro asked his aspect too many questions in a short period of time and without knowledge of what price to doing so was and that as a result, Genichiro ended up causing quite a bit of damage before the agency was able to detain him. "Yȍ̴̜u̸̢͆ cut̵͉͋ of̵̳̒f̶̪̄ tẖ̸͒e be̵̖͌s̷̗̈t pa̴̘͌rṫ̵̤!" "T̸͈̈́h̸̛̻at wa̸̙͝s fu̶̻͝n̸͎̍!" "I̶̖̓ w̴͔͆antę̶̈́d̵̟̈ tǒ̵̻ ̸̼̇keep̴̠̄ play̴̝̿i̷̯͂ng.̴͖͗.̸̺͗." In the almost two years since then the growth of his aspect has slowed down significantly and Genichiro has spent his time split between his studies and gaining better control over his aspect. While he’s had very limited success thus far with resisting the drawbacks to his aspect, he has picked up a couple of tricks to prevent himself from going too far.
"You̶͉͂ ̷͉̿havë̴̩́ ̸̜̋nȏ̷͙ frien̸̞͠d̴͍̅s!"
Class Details:
Myriad of Voices: Genichiro’s mind is inhabited by a multitude of voices in various states of insanity and disrepair ranging from psychopathy to addiction to raving lunacy. The voices have concrete personalities, at least as much as their insanity will allow for, and often speak in ways that would suggest histories outside of Genichiro’s head, but even then their stories are riddled with enough holes, contradictions and downright impossibilities, to make it doubtful as to whether anything they are saying is true. It doesn’t help that the voices universally refuse to answer questions as to their nature. "Gu̶ỳ̴͜s! Thä̴̩́t̵̺͋'s us̶̫̚!" It isn’t exactly clear exactly how many voices there are living in Genichiro’s head, save for the fact that it is an incredibly large number and occasionally new voices will manifest seemingly out of the blue. The number of voices actually active at any given time is far lower, varying from half a dozen or so to an overwhelming amount, dependent on how interesting things are outside for the voices.
Multitasking: A side effect of his aspect, Genichiro is able to focus on multiple things at once as long as he concentrates. Notably, it is incredibly easy for Genichiro to keep track of a large number of conversations at once, though with some difficulty he is able to direct this multitasking ability in other directions.
Limited Omniscience: While they probably aren’t actually omniscient the voices definitely know a hell of a lot more than they should be able to, collectively possessing a seemingly bottomless wealth of information both general and personal even when there should be no possible way for them to have learned something. "Wè̵̩ ̵̹͗s̸̲̈́ee yo̶̠̊u̵͚͛!" "C̵̦͛an't̵͖̿ ̶̰̃hid̸̘̏ĕ̸̮ fró̷͓m̴̟͠ uș̴̓!" "Yo̸̲̽u ġ̶͇u̶̡͗y's arë̸ͅ cre̴͇͝e̸̠̅py.̵̫͗" The voices are more than happy to answer Genichiro’s questions, actively encouraging it in fact, and will generally answer him truthfully or at the very least make it very obvious when they aren’t. While this means Genichiro technically has access to expert level knowledge on pretty much any subject including secrets or otherwise unknown information, accessing it doesn’t come without a cost. Each question he asks is paid in a loss of sanity depending on the scope of the question asked and while time will see his mind recover the traded sanity Genichiro progressively becomes more easily influenced by the voices as he loses the plot and cannot tell at any moment how much of his normal mind he retains. It also becomes easier for Genichiro to interpret and carry out his aspects instructions as his sanity crumbles.
Commentary: Unlike many specialists Genichiro doesn’t have any enhanced senses of his own, save for an enhanced ability to process the chatter of the voices, however, having spent so long listening to the constant commentary on pretty much everything relates to himself, his surroundings or any major external events that draw the voices interest, Genichiro has learned how to extrapolate the commentary into a useful if often, cryptic source of information as to what’s going on. "Oh̶̨͒,̵̥̌ shḭ̸̏n̸͉͐y!" "Ar̷̖̀ẹ̸́ we̴͚̓ al̶͙͆l ju̸̡͠st ign̵̪͐o̶̠͘ring̸͈͗ th̶͈̾e ̶̳̚d̸̛̳rag̴̱͆ō̶̘n?" The exact amount of information Genichiro can gain from this fluctuates depending on the stimulus, with the voices being far more willing to talk about some things than others and the amount of interest generated amongst the voices having an effect on just how many speak. Generally, at least the broad strokes of things are pretty easy to pick up on with more specific details being increasingly hard to pick up on unless Genichiro starts asking questions. "Let̸͍͐'̸̨̒s adḓ̶̈́r̵̦̓es̷̙̿s̴͕̽ the elep̵̞͆h̷͈̐ant in̵͖̂ th̵̩̾ḙ̸́ ro̶̺̕ò̸̖m...̶̫͐ halfw̶̧͠a̷͔̽y acrõ̴͖ṣ̷̉s th̵͉́e w̸̖͛orld̴̼̋." Occasionally, the voices give away pieces of information for free, primarily snippets of information in excruciating detail, though sometimes with key details missing. They tend only to do this when doing so would cause something interesting to happen and pretty much never if they think they could get Genichiro to ask them about it himself.
Psychic Protection: The voices are highly possessive of Genichiro’s mind, any attempts at mind-reading, telepathic communication or other connections are met with vicious hostility from the voices, resulting in the offending subjects being quickly shunted out, usually suffering from short term migraines and confusion. Other attempts at divination have also been known to occasionally show incorrect or downright nonsensical information where Genichiro is involved.

I'll probably want to change some things when it isn't 4 am and I'm fully awake, but this is mostly done.

Things moved quickly after he realised that he could just speak to the voices and for the most part they seemed eager to talk, especially if that entailed Genichiro asking them questions, though some answers were seemingly off-limits.
