Either RolePlayerGuild.com is glitching, or everyone is studiously ignoring my PMs.

@Avali You're off to an excellent start. The backstory is a little cliche, but cliche is fine in a setting like this. You may want to find an alternate profession for her besides healing, though, since we have two of them already and one is a Master Healer capable of resurrecting people if they died within the last seven seconds.

Light Magic is actually a very different animal from healing magic. Its applications range from simply lighting up a dark room to revealing lies and deceit. Advanced users can even predict the future with it. That could be useful to a trade caravan.
@AvaliOr...I could write an intro scene just for you...
I hope nobody's waiting on me to start...
Right... Sounds like a plan ^^;

Alrighty! Wait to begin until the princess is captured and the King issues a kingdom-wide bounty. In the meantime, work on Grace's full character sheet and submit it for review. :)
OH ok then : P

I dunno how to go about getting the mark then ^^;

Ask one of the player characters when you get a chance. Even if they don't know how to get it, chances are, someone will overhear who does know. ;)
That's fair I suppose.

Mark is required yes?

Not required, but recommended if you want to be capable of the amazing acrobatic feats involved in later parts of the story.

I mean, Sykes has one of those too if you think. His Mark of the Overseer (but his is more like a translation tool and master key). And he hasn't aged... Or I got something wrong from all the back and forth.

You got it all right. ;)
His agelessness stems from his origin.
If the Mark isn't required for characters, I wouldn't worry over it too much.

Grace will probably try and the hide the mark anyhow, thinking that it would be against her faith to use its power.

The Mark manifests as a diamond star tattoo. It is usually found on the back of your dominant hand, but it may also be found on the waist, forehead, or nape of the neck. If the character prefers secrecy, whichever power gives it out tries to account for that.
I dunno what that mark of the hero thing is. What does it do :P

The Mark of the Hero is a genetic modification that prevents muscle atrophy and promotes memory retention. Put simply, it lets you level up and keep your levels. The Mark is commonly thought to be heritable or divine, but reality is much more...

...interesting.

Sykes grumblingly disapproves -50.

If Sykes wants one too, he can always ask. One might be surprised at who answers his request.
