Sooo, yeah. For all intents and purposes, Groudon and Rebeca are two sides of the same person. For the most part, she will stay as "Human Rebeca". "Groudon Rebeca" will only show up if/when she goes Primal. She can only go Primal if she gets her hand on the Red Orb, and if she gets worn down enough she will revert back to her base level or die from placing too much stress on her body.
@ThundercrashHm. I just realized Rebeca is one of the few characters who has never directly heard from their Avatar. Perhaps the Red Orb might unlock Groudon's consciousness?

I've thought about this before, and here's the thing. I think that I had a different idea of what being an Avatar is than what everyone else did. Thus far, what I've seen is that for most people, or at least those who are still here, the Legendary that they are the Avatar of is essentially a guest inside their body, and they are borrowing that Legendary's power for themselves.

Whereas what I had thought of was that the Avatar was an actual fusion of human and Legendary. Groudon isn't inside Rebeca, Rebeca is Groudon. When Rebeca is in her base form, she is still more or less her original self. In Primal form, her mind is more Groudon than the original Rebeca.
@Leos Klien I did include in Rebeca's CS a description of what she looks like in her Primal form (essentially a humanized version of Primal Groudon)

"In Primal Form, Rebeca becomes much closer in form to Groudon. Her markings and scars glow with molten heat, her nails transform into claws that have completely overtaken her fingertips and toes, her teeth become completely carnivorous, and she grows to half again her normal size. Her eyes take on the same molten appearance as her markings, and extreme waves of heat radiate off her body, melting or incinerating most nearby objects. Her skin becomes closer to the armoured plates that Groudon possesses. For the love of all that is alive and good, do not put her in this state."

If there is a serious discussion that needs to be had in terms of the affect it has on her, however, I'm always open to it.
@NightmareInd That said, if you are joining we should talk about what the differences will be between Charlie and Rebeca.

As a starting point, I would suggest that Charlie can generate hotter flames, whereas Rebeca is physically stronger and has greater potential for general destruction (for example, you mention that Charlie has good endurance because he's partially made of steel. If Rebeca punched him, it would actually hurt).

Unless Rebeca somehow manages to get her hands on the Red Orb and goes Primal. Then I'm afraid Charlie's just out of his league, but could at least withstand being near her. Unlike pretty much everyone else.
@NightmareInd Oh joy. Now there's going to be TWO characters who could burn down the city if you piss them off enough :) Arceus help you all if they ever get into a real knock-down drag-out fight.
So, just saw this most recent update for Sun and Moon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCTj-04gfMM

Up until now, I was excited about what they were doing to diverge from the standard methods of Pokemon, but some of this is getting to the point where it doesn't even feel much like Pokemon anymore. I mean, what could the series possibly gain from the Ultra Beasts? Or having a man-made Pokemon called Type: Null?

If anyone has any ideas, feel free to share them, but right now, I'm fiercely opposed to some of this, especially Type: Null.

This isn't the first time that they've had man-made Pokemon. In fact, those have existed since the first generation (Porygon, possibly Voltorb and Electrode, Mewtwo depending on how you look at it). I'm sure they've had others over the years. As for the Ultra Beasts, we don't really know anything about them yet, so I'm reserving judgement.
Speaking of which, anyone who plays Pokemon on the 3ds, we should trade friend codes, Roleplay Pokèmon, and play Pokemon - yay! :3

I would, however I seldom have access to a reliable network that my DS will connect to properly. In fact, it only works on my phone, which chews through the data like you wouldn't believe.
@Zugzwang Sooo... I feel really bad about this, since getting my friend into this was my idea, but I'm going to drop out. It seems like a really interesting story you have here, but I keep trying to get into Cyra's headspace, and for whatever reason she doesn't want to let me in. It's frustrating, but I hate doing sub-par work, so I'm going to have to leave.
@AbandonedIntel Hmm, I might be able to accommodate you :)
Oh, I know someone who's going to be getting very close to hers XP
