Her eyes are a strange gold color, and she enjoys darker eyeshadow, and a full range of different nail polishes. Her closet is once again, something one would never typically see from a Javelin pilot, though hers has two very clear divisions. One end of her closet contains clothing she wears when piloting. Skin-tight, form fitting and easily worn while piloting the Javelins that conform perfectly to the pilot's body. Just below her hair line, placed in the back of her neck, is a small metallic port, the neural interface required to use her Javelin.

Ranger Class Javelin - Custom Configuration, Heavy EVA "Overseer" Height-8ft Weight-750LBS
Modified from her original millitary Javelin, the "Overseer" configuration focuses heavily on exploration of hostile and otherwise toxic environments, and the upkeep and monitoring of nearby connected drones via the pilot's neural interface. Completely sealed once the pilot is within, it sports it's own air filtration system, a small amount of additional oxygen as well as a chemically resistant carapace and an inner gel layer that disperses extra heat, helping regulate the pilot's body temperature in otherwise lethal cold or heat. Due to it's size and strength it also sees use in heavy lifting and construction purposes, though this is more attributed to the base Ranger frame rather than it's modifications.

The Overseer sports an upgraded power supply that allows it to generate small amounts of energy from sunlight, and even exchange charge with compatible drones. In optimal situations, the "Overseer" variant is capable of maintaining an exploratory venture alongside their drones for three days if allowed pause within sunny environments.

Exploratory Rescue Unit - "Rover" Quantity-(1)
A doglike drone commonly used in rescue ventures. The ERU is capable of detecting a myriad of frequencies and following them to their origin point. Within a short range, it is also capable of detecting heartbeats. It is normally equipped with several small pouches of medical supplies meant for emergency treatment of rescued operatives. Capable of a short line of independent action, it's overall goal is to maintain the safety of those around it.

Scientific Exploratory Unit - "Arachne" Quantity-(4)
Designed specifically for gathering a myriad of information on their surroundings in a short period of time. The SEU is equipped with a number of instruments for both gathering local information, and collecting samples of materials. They are capable of a short line of independent thought, and will warn their Overseer of hazardous materials or locations before they are reached, and will actively avoid entering areas that may cause damage to themselves unless ordered. Extremely effective when deployed in pairs, or even larger groups. The drones will communicate with each other and their overseer to more easily access larger and larger areas even with small groups of drones.

Augmentations: Neural Interface - Designed specifically for users to intimately interact with technology that either requires it, or lacks any other means of operation. This Neural Interface allows interaction with most technology due to a self proclaimed "Skeleton Key Program" That allows it to emulate normal processes that would occur during normal interaction with said technology. Evangaline required rather invasive brain surgery to acquire such an interface, and requires it in order to pilot her Javelin

As a side benefit, it also retains basic functionality even without interaction with other tech, allowing for construction of a basic map of the land the user has seen, receiving messages through authorized channels and sending of silent messages to other technology capable of accepting them.

Though recent training, Eva has taken rather well to the maintenance and usage of exploratory drones, especially due to her experience in the usage of her Neural Interface. Easily able to perform alongside multiple drones, and give silent orders as well as receive communications from them at any time they are within range.

Years spent in combat situations, and even more time spent as a glorified child soldier experiment has given Eva quite the experience in stressful situations, and moments where her life is in danger. She wears her Javelin like a second skin, and has a surprising amount of fine motor control while wearing it. She also has intimate knowledge of firearms, military equipment and it's upkeep.

Personality: Excitable and joy filled, single minded determination, upsetting to hold a conversation with... just a few ways to put into words what Eva is like. It's a strange mix, the youthful excitement and hopefulness of a child just recently allowed to explore the world outside her home mixed with the obvious signs of PTSD comparable to a war veteran, and is even more pronounced the more one interacts with her. Evangaline doesn't use the names people tell her, and instead uses nicknames in most cases. As she often mentions herself when asked about the sometimes annoying or rude habit, she responds "Survive longer than a month around me and I might learn your name... no promise I'll remember it though, easier that way."

Backstory: Born on a Military Science orbital station, Eva never knew the surface of a planet until she was eventually released upon the universe, much to the dismay of many. Her parents, now both criminals for illegal human experimentation, child experimentation, use of and development of child soldiers, and many other frankly disturbing crimes... Eva was frankly headed for a quick and violent doom until she met Jacobs. Jacobs, an older man who was unfortunate enough to have known Eva's parents close enough to be named her godfather and proved to be the girl's saving grace. A former Javelin pilot himself, he tutored her further as to the more detailed moments of becoming a Javelin Pilot, and even she will tell anybody who asks that he's saved her life many times over.

Ranger Class Javelin - Custom Configuration "Frontline" Height-8ft Weight-750LBS
A heavily modified Ranger Class Javelin, this configuration trades some mobility for heavier armor and a small, onboard shield generator located around the wrist, allowing for a directional energy shield to be deployed. Though this limits the flight range by producing a larger draw on the suit's power generator, it gives the suit much more defensive capability. The Suit is capable of short range flight, it's armor resistant to small arms fire up to smaller caliber Sniper Rifles, with the sub layer of energy dispersing gel just below the armor allowing for resistances against low energy laser and plasma weaponry. However the suit is left vulnerable to EMPs, large electric discharges, and high energy laser or plasma weaponry, as well as heavy weaponry such as higher caliber rifles and explosives. An EMP targeted to the suit can prove disastrous, forcing a complete shut-down and trapping the pilot inside the non-functional glorified coffin until the system reboots, or somebody pries them out of it. The entire suit relies on an onboard power generator to function, as well as a Neural Interface adapted to fit each pilot. This means not only is the suit prone to overheating in extreme situations, but extreme damage to circuitry can cause injury or even fatalities to Javelin Pilots.


MA5B Light Machine Gun
A gun designed specifically for use by Javelins, the MA5B is a heavy infantry weapon modified for use by Javelins in much the same way infantry might use standard ballistic assault rifles. It's higher caliber means it hits rather hard, but the slow rate of fire and limited ammunition requires the pilot to be more accurate with their shots. The weapon is typically meant for mid-range combat, the effective maximum range being roughly 700m. The particular rifle carried by Eva has been modified to allow for both automatic fire and semi-automatic fire.

Fallback Firearm - M6 Pistol
Located within a compartment just inside her Javelin, this pistol is rarely if ever used. It is a backup firearm, meant to be used by the pilot in the case their Javelin is non-functional.

Combat Experience - Born to parents more interested in the idea of child soldiers than they were with the raising of a child. Evangeline as a result had little to no childhood, but at only twenty years old has more technical and knowledge and full experience of firearms, combat tactics and survival in active warzones that she often puts active soldiers to shame.

Battle Trance - Very much an active conflict seeker, Evangeline has developed her own way of dealing with constant strife, bloodshed and loss of life. Close to a meditative state of sorts, Eva claims it leaves her on 'autopilot' and allows her to act and react to situations, especially hostile, with little to no pause. However this has also affected her negatively, causing her to slip into this state during moments of great stress as a method of self preservation.

Jacobs - Jacobs is one of the only people with complete access to Eva's Javelin and it's systems, acting in a supportive role. Accessing the data from the Javelin's onboard radar, map and any information received through Eva's Neural Interface. Jacobs acts as a line of defense and 'traffic control' for Eva's Neural Interface, helping to lessen the burden on Eva. Jacobs manages incoming communications, map data, and more from a remote location, meaning that when communications are cut off, Eva loses a surprising amount of efficiency.

Weaknesses - Despite her extensive training and combat experience, Eva is still a young lady and is physically inept in hand to hand combat without her suit, and especially against trained opponents. She is very clearly suited to combat when aided by her Javelin, and when without it relies very heavily on surprise ambush tactics for survival. She also lacks many social graces and is often considered blunt, or scatterbrained in normal situations. Her young life as a glorified test subject has obviously affected her negatively, however she remains stable and effective enough for her superiors to push such details to the side as long as she consents to psychological evaluations at regular intervals.

He has a strong, cut body of muscle built over years of physical labor that is covered in a patchwork pattern of scars, ranging from accidents to brawls. His skin is reasonably tan from work in the sun, and his hair has yet to have been cut even since his birth, leaving him to often tie it away from his face in a loose ponytail. He has a kind smile and is extremely animated, often moving and gesturing with every other word. He prefers durable clothing meant for work, but his recent noble status has added to his closet. A strange young man to see, especially given his ethnically different appearance from many in East Severa, though the fact he takes very heavily after his father who is Torraggonese, and his mother his is also of mixed race and of a lighter complexion.

He wears two rings and a necklace at all times. The necklace comes from his mother, one of the more expensive things she owned before being risen alongside him to noble status, and a gift to her son. While simple, the silvery necklace is something he holds dear. The first ring is simple, and made of iron with a cheap gem embedded in it's surface. The ring had been a gift from him to who had once been his betrothed, all he had been able to afford at the time, the ring had been little more than a show as at the time they both knew she would not survive the illness. The final and third ring is much more expensive, made of gold and with a sizable chunk of obsidian in it's surface. A gift from his father once he had been discovered... "For my new heir, and a physical apology for not having known your childhood."

Though he is a blueblood and a Leadvein, Bongo has not even thought of the use of magic since his birth, he had been far too busy for that. Though now that he has a place at the school, he finds two things interesting. He designates his primary focus as Kinetic, making great use of his ability to change his own momentum and increase the force of his physical attacks, with everything else being a bonus. Binding also gave him great interest, able to aid people through creation and healing. Bongo is a very durable young man, Leadvein making him just that harder to put down, not to mention his defensive usages of both Kinetic and Binding magic.

B A C K G R O U N D

He was raised a commoner, of no specific trade and destined for a life of hard labor and farming. However, unknown to him his mother's refusal to speak of his father would eventually catch up with them. Bongo was the bastard son of a nobleman, something he would learn years later, after becoming a known figure in his village and after losing his childhood love to sickness. Though he holds a few grudges about the man now calling him son, Bongo had never been able to hold onto things like that for very long. His father seems kind enough, and more than happy to find he had a son not only of such impressive physical form, but of magical aptitude, something Bongo himself had been surprised at as well. As the world opens up around this simple young man, he almost wishes it would just close back up again and let him pretend that things aren't as complicated as they really are.

M O T I V A T I O N

If Bongo is to be known as a nobleman's heir, he will do as he always has, and try his hardest. He seeks to perfect his magic, and later his ability to lead others. He wants to help people with his newfound power, both magical and otherwise. Outside of this he has little other motivations, other than a drink and a laugh.

With an RAS level of around 4.8, (impressive for a bird) Sweetie knows only a handful of magic from his school, but the first few early years of his life spend around the school paired his intelligence and curiosity means that he knows those few things by heart.

Capable of using Solid Telekenisis, Siphon Momentum and Impart Momentum all at low levels, While he isn't a real mage by any definition of the word, he can be extremely annoying to find paired alongside Mara.

He posesses little of else value save the jewelry he keeps on him so often, save perhaps his journal. A confusing mess, it contains everything from short passages on important events, to recipes and even shortstories.

Bongo is a very durable young man, Leadvein making him just that harder to put down, not to mention his defensive usages of both Kinetic and Binding magic.

B A C K G R O U N D

He was raised a commoner, of no specific trade and destined for a life of hard labor and farming. However, unknown to him his mother's refusal to speak of his father would eventually catch up with them. Bongo was the bastard son of a nobleman, something he would learn years later, after becoming a known figure in his village and after losing his childhood love to sickness. Though he holds a few grudges about the man now calling him son, Bongo had never been able to hold onto things like that for very long. His father seems kind enough, and more than happy to find he had a son not only of such impressive physical form, but of magical aptitude, something Bongo himself had been surprised at as well. As the world opens up around this simple young man, he almost wishes it would just close back up again and let him pretend that things aren't as complicated as they really are.

M O T I V A T I O N

If Bongo is to be known as a nobleman's heir, he will do as he always has, and try his hardest. He seeks to perfect his magic, and later his ability to lead others. He wants to help people with his newfound power, both magical and otherwise. Outside of this he has little other motivations, other than a drink and a laugh.

With an RAS level of around 4.8, (impressive for a bird) Sweetie knows only a handful of magic from his school, but the first few early years of his life spend around the school paired his intelligence and curiosity means that he knows those few things by heart.

Capable of using Solid Telekenisis, Siphon Momentum and Impart Momentum all at low levels, While he isn't a real mage by any definition of the word, he can be extremely annoying to find paired alongside Mara.

He posesses little of else value save the jewelry he keeps on him so often, save perhaps his journal. A confusing mess, it contains everything from short passages on important events, to recipes and even shortstories.

Oh so very used to silently watching and listening until called upon, Mara is a quiet creature, content to observe the antics of others rather than involve herself directly unless asked. Being raised from childhood as a slave by a practical man who saw the use in a Yasoi Bloodchild, Mara has developed a sort of protective nature of those who keep her around. She is unsurprisingly easy to manipulate in many ways, and naive in just as many. However one must realize that while she is used to being ordered by others and has a strong respect for authority figures, her loyalty always lies with those she considers to hold her leash. Old habits die hard, and though she has recently attained her freedom she finds it hard to act on her own. Not all of her Yasoi nature is lost to her however, as she still retains a very basic grasp of the language as well as the natural curiosity and habit of collecting what can sometimes be strange items that people often attribute to Yasoi.

Overall, Mara is a young lady who finds it difficult to act alone, consistently looking to others for support. When she finds those people however, she is difficult to pull away from them due to her dependent nature and protective attitude. The world is a very big place, and Mara already doesn't know what to do with it.

C H A R A C T E R A P P E A R A N C E

Tall and lithe with exceptionally pale skin, her hair is strange shade of silvery grey and is often tied back into a loose ponytail. Her stare is piercing, seeming to look straight through anybody she happens to be looking at, however her gaze rarely meets that of anybody else's, preferring instead to avoid eye contact unless spoken to directly. Her wardrobe is unsurprisingly sparse, containing few exceptional garmants of her own choice save a patchy fur lined leather cloak, it's insides stitched with with what seems to be hundreds of names. The sheer number of needle-holes implying at one point there were even more, but they had since been removed. The garmant is obviously old, and once of extremely fine make, but time has taken it's toll and some sections seem to be more patch than cloak. It's patchwork nature however, helps hide the myriad of small pockets hidden along the inside of the cloak, making it exceptionally easy to secret away small objects.

T H E G I F T

Being Yasoi gave her a natural gift for magic, and being bloodchild and blueblood only further aided this. She has a dedication to Binding magic, and is rather skilled in it due to her near singular devotion to the art. Few could ignore her presence as she found her freedom, and her presence at the school was due to a single simple fact. It is far easier to keep an eye on a Yasoi Binder within the walls of such an institution than it is when they wander around aimlessly. Her protective nature often places her near the front lines alongside her allies, using more defensive magic to bear the brunt of a force that may otherwise fell her allies. When arriving at the school and notified of the dangerous destructive capabilities of misused binding magic, Mara was not surprised... but was gladdened to hear that she could be taught to draw on her magic in less harmful ways.

B A C K G R O U N D

Born to a Yasoi noble family, Mara was a very sickly child, taking after her mother who passed soon after giving birth. Her father, wracked with grief and terrified of the possibility of losing his only tie to his beloved wife left on this world, spared no expense in the search of a binder or blood mage that could keep her alive. This resulted in Mara becoming a Bloodchild, unsurprisingly. In the short year that followed her recovery, Mara's noble house seemed to disappear nearly overnight, and she was left captured in human lands and eventually enslaved for many years, where she was raised by a practical slave lord who saw the use in a Yasoi Binder.

She proved this usefulness, and despite her poor education, proved a good showpiece and defensive tool far greater than any single hired guard could provide him. Thing do not always last though, and those who take to selling people are not often the most honorable of people. Her owner was eventually killed, and in the chaos that was the attack, she found that with his death there was no reason she was bound to him any longer. He was kind to her however, and his mark and name would remain with her from then on.

Her life before introduction of the school did not last long, but consisted of her search for more of her people, or those who could teach her more about her magic. As expected, it did not take long and now Mara finds herself at the edge of a new world. With so many choices and possibilies, the girl's head spins as she tries to search for something to anchor herself against the tide of new experiences.

M O T I V A T I O N

Answers motivate her beyond most anything else. While she searches for those who would direct her, and those whose judgement she can trust, her true motivation lay almost entirely in her desire to hone her magic, and search for answers about herself and her people. Old memories poke and prod, whispers about her and her people reach her ears, but so little of it makes sense... but it will make sense, in time, else she will force the sense out of this world. She is patient though, she has waited this long to learn, she can wait longer. It cannot be forgotten, for she will not allow it.

Actually just fully read the information on the Mobile Armor Suit Builder section regarding "ultra-light" suits and it seems my idea would most likely fit that role, and given that such classifications are under "unplayable" I'll assume my idea is as well lol
