Probably should ask uh, how much Worm knowledge is needed to play, exactly? :p
Well ain't this a coi-inky-dink here.

Just since I've been mulling over my own teens-with-powers setting I might have a few pulls to make. Primary idea: kid who unintentionally swaps places with another person if they're about to get real hurt.

It might uh, sound more interesting in a full sheet, but just testing the waters :v

Sandswept Sky - BOSS FIGHT

Raz's blasts didn't seem to even register on the huge monster, the reason why becoming pretty clear to him: it's huge. A startling revelation to be sure. He still argued when Sectonia decided to cut their losses, scooping him up from the ground to head towards the train.

"But what about the--" Raz, dangling in Sectonia's grip, cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted to the spectators, "Hey! Get to safety! Find a basement or somewhere to hide, this thing is dangerous!" It might not have needed saying but he couldn't just leave it be. It wouldn't have felt right to leave the civilians to fend for themselves. Turns out that it wasn't that much of an issue, though; whether it was because of their tag-team effort in distracting it, some force of Galeem compelling it towards the Seekers, or simply an animalistic mind chasing the fastest thing, Red Eye went after the train as soon as it collected itself. Raz was going to take credit because it was obviously thanks to him and Sectonia.

Definitely.

The two landed on the train just in time to catch the Railway Gun's explanation. And, as it happened, right when Raiden had climbed aboard too. Raz wasn't there for more than a minute before the sword-wielding cyborg (side note, this world was kind of awesome) addressed him. "I can take care of myself!" Raz shot back. ""This isn't the first giant destructive monster I've had to deal with!"

A part of Raz wasn't sure about putting all their eggs in the same basket, with everyone focused on operating the gun with no apparent backup plan if it wasn't effective or broke or whatever else could happen. He didn't voice the concern, partly because he didn't have a better plan of his own, but mostly because the giant death-mouth was right on their tail by that point. "I got the charge station!" Raz shouted, hurrying to his button.

As he primed himself to mash, Red Eye decided the stakes weren't high enough and... for lack of a better word, 'burped' up a whole swarm of those kite-like creatures that came from the mountain bell. "Two can play at that game!" Raz turned from his button, manifesting his TK hand to mash in his place, and rushed forward. Adopting his psychic stance Raz peppered the swarming trilobites with psi-blasts, aiming specifically for the ones that were closing in on the gun's platform and threatening the other onboard.

"I mean! I'm not really! Playing the same game here! But, I think you get it!"

While everyone else had gotten used to oddball characters popping into existence around them, Giovanni was notable because of how utterly pathetic his entrance was.

He appeared hunched over the ground in a fetal position with his eyes screwed shut. Over his bright yellow uniform were twigs, bits of grass, chunks of moss, all sorts of forest-y gunk. A crude stick-skirt held together by flower stems hung at his waist, his face was speckled with mud, and he was holding a whole chunk of bush over his head.

"Is it gone?" He said in a hushed, hurried tone. "It was a car, right?... Car Crash? Fred? Ah, ahh! A snatch job!" Thoroughly convinced of an attack against him, the shrubified man sprung to his feet, whooping and yelling while brandishing a wooden baseball bat with a kitchen knife taped to it. "You won't take ME so easy, you--!"

Giovanni's bloodlust faded away pretty quickly once he saw his actual circumstances. Instead of cops, Banzai Blasters, or bounty hunters, he was surrounded by a bunch of kids, an old man, and a guy with some killer fashion sense. Granted, that didn't mean they weren't there to beat him up, but it was enough to stop him from whacking anyone.

"...this isn't the forest," he expertly surmised. "Whah, where the heck am I? Who're all of you? What did you do with Fred?!"

Shadow Moth took a moment to dust himself off before proceeding. Even with his focus this machine managed to land a decent blow. If there were any doubts left that he was dealing with anything he was used to, they were rectified. Still, he couldn't help but act smug towards the Techadon's capture. He strode closer, his sentimonster keeping it in place, and gripped his sword still lodged in its arm. "Consider this an even trade." Shadow Moth yanked his sword free in a single move and slid it back into its cane.

Before he could decide on what to do with the thing, the second missile came down upon them. Shadow Moth braced himself this time, though it didn't help against this bigger, stronger variant. He flew backwards, skidding further along the ground than last time, and his taken-over Techadon fared much worse, landing right on its back beside him. Luckily, Static Cling was made to take a beating. Luckier still, behind beneath the Techadon it jockeyed protected it against the volley of laser fire from their new foe. Shadow Moth had a tougher time, putting his full concentration in avoiding the attack.

"Static Cling!" Shadow Moth called for his sentimonster, spurring it to action. Even though the thing it was attached to looked worse for wear, Static Cling was still able to control its limbs, perhaps even easier now that part of its processors had been shelled. It rose and charged the larger Techadon, closing the distance as fast as its mechanical legs could, preparing a beat-down on it... with any luck, testing the waters in what else it was capable of with a dispensable puppet.
And here's my app for a hero character and get in on that goody two-shoes action.

Nothing could be so easy, now could it? The attacker's weakpoints turned out to be a trap, one that Shadow Moth foolishly flung himself into. He grit his teeth, retreating back from the machine as it slammed down in counter. His impatience got the better of him there. Though perhaps his impatience would be what gives him the upper hand, as well.

The rest would have to deal with the fallout of Shadow Moth's brashness themselves, since he was facing one down himself, and without a proper weapon. He straightened, passing his fan from one hand to the next, and spread it open. "I'll underestimate you no longer," he said as he plucked one of the many feathers from the fan. Between his fingers, the little white feather sparkled and, in a tiny flash, turned brilliantly blue. "Come, my little amok, bring forth an end to this nuisance!"

Shadow Moth raised the second half of his cane, still in his hand, and brought the 'amok' to it. Once they touched, the amok vanished with a magical spark. In the air above Shadow Moth, a dark cloud of purple energy materialized, roiling and morphing into a longer shape. Then the cloud disappeared, revealing a strange creature floating over Shadow Moth - it looked similar to a flattened jellyfish, a yellow-ish oval at its center, four wiry tentacles spread out that ended in similar yellow pads, the whole thing encased in translucent, blue-tinged skin. "See to it that this mechanical annoyance is put under your control, Static Cling."

At Shadow Moth's command the creature, "Static Cling", darted forward, streaking through the air above the Techadon and stopping short just behind it. Of course, Shadow Moth wasn't leaving it to his sentimonster alone; he charged the robot again, fan and cane at the ready, and moved to strike it. His aim wasn't to win this fight, exactly, but to distract it long enough for Static Cling to attach itself. He swung, ducked, dodged, kept the pressure up as best he could, as his sentimonster floated down, lowering itself towards the Techadon's back...

Before any reconnaissance could happen, the universe decided to meet the group halfway. How accurate that statement was would be lost of the group for a while longer.

Shadow Moth was flung backwards by the strange object's landing. It was only thanks to his empowered reflexes that he was able to land on his feet, skidding the rest of the way across the grass. Gritting his teeth, he adopted a more defensive stance, holding his cane at the middle. Whatever this thing was, it didn't move like a human. Something mechanical, then? While not the 'civilization' Shadow Moth was hoping to encounter, it did mean someone else was in these grasslands with them. Someone hostile, but still.

"'Weak-points on the joints', hm?" Shadow Moth smirked. These wouldn't be much trouble, then. He raised his staff, the small gem-like tip popping open, and he raised his other hand up. He released the akuma he was holding, which flew into the small opening. No need to waste that little trump card so soon, especially since Shadow Moth had no idea when he'd be able to acquire more.

"I can dispatch this one easily enough." Shadow Moth unsheathed his cane-sword and charged forward. With much more dexterity and strength than he might seem to have, he leapt from the edge of the crater, over the Techadon's head, and slashed downwards. His sword cut clean through the joint between its body and the arm used to fire at Driscoll. Shadow Moth turned to face the robot once he landed, one long swing to cut at its legs and, as it fell to the ground, jammed his sword right through its neck!

It seemed the large knight was indeed someone to keep an eye on in some capacity, since he was the first of the group to speak, and directly to Gabriel no less. He folded his arm behind his back, keeping his fist clenched. There wasn't any need to let the Akuma go to waste, especially since Gabriel hadn't sensed anyone besides this group in the surrounding area.

"I appreciate your openness, Sir Driscoll, but I hope you can understand why I'm not so quick as to trust you. Any of us gathered here could be behind out mutual abduction after all. Although, I'm not so paranoid that I wouldn't introduce myself. You may call me Shadow Moth." He stamped the ground with his cane as if making a point.

Another large man in armor, much more ostentatious than the Forever Knight's, addressed the group. Shadow Moth looked up to the sky, searching for something that just wasn't there. "I'm sorry to say that this isn't the doing of anything I'm aware of. I can't reach any akumas, and there wasn't anything in the tome that could achieve this. Unless this is the Fox Miraculous, but that's..." Shadow Moth muttered and trailed off during that last part, lost in his own thoughts. "No, no, this level of illusion would be too much for the brats she employs..." He seemed to catch himself, looking back up to the group. "Regardless of the why, it seems as if we're all in the middle of nowhere, wherever we are. It might be best for us to search for civilization, a shelter, any others that are out here. The culprit may be among them."

Sandswept Sky - Kinda, all over

Now that the giant flying monster was in (relatively) safe hands, Raz returned his attention to the bell and its statues, along with the others. It seemed the psi-blast he fired off a moment ago went wide and only clipped one of the statue's elbows. His aim was a little rusty, it seemed. Mental note: uh, work on that later.

After so much back and forth between everyone it was finally time to put the idea to the test. Targets were picked, attacks were levied, and Raz hung back a few feet from Jondo's edge. If that thing rang as loud as Redento said, he was worried about popping his eardrums. Though that turned out not to matter as the clapper simply fell right down to the bottom of the bell with a metallic thunk, not even ringing as a bell should. Raz couldn't say he wasn't a little disappointed by it. Part of it was for Redento's sake, the pilgrim having trekked here to witness this bell only for it to be a dud.

A great, monstrous call sounded instead from deep inside Jondo, and for a moment Raz wondered if that was the bell's purpose, that whatever was down there was meant to be by whoever made it in the first place. Then common sense hit him and, no, this is obviously something bad and dangerous and needed to be dealt with. He never heard the sound before, but it drilled into his bones, a fear so potent it was like it reached inside his head and pressed right down on the amygdala.

"Think we found what we were looking for," Raz said, trying to keep things light.

Is was then that Midna and Sectonia directed the newly freed Phalanx back towards them, as the bell rumbled with enough force to nearly crumble the whole peak. Obviously, whatever was inside meant business. Luckily, Raz still had a lingering boost from when they got rocketed up the mountain - he pulled out his Levitation and let it pull him upwards, like a balloon in an updraft. He landed on Phalanx's back, somewhere at its midsection, and gripped its fur tight.

"At least going down is a lot easier!" Raz's words were lost in the wind, threatening to pull him right off and turn him into a splatter against the mountain. His grip kept strong, though, and the monster's fur didn't tear from its body. The desert came up quicker than expected, and at such a speed that it was clear Phalanx was going to ram right into the ground, for whatever reason. Raz bailed before the colossus hit the sand, flinging himself sideways and using his Levitation to gently float the rest of the way down. Once he touched down, Raz looked to where the massive Champion had landed; not too far from them, and right next to Tostarena Town.

"We have to help them!" Raz shouted, turning to the others as they first started their dash to the train. "This thing might, I dunno, go on a rampage down here and destroy that town! At least get it away from them!" Whether or not his words landed, Raz focused on the Champion and, as the dust began to clear, shot off a few of his Psi-Blasts. Most of them plinked off its hide, but one or two managed to hit it right in one of its many eyes. "Hey! Big and ugly! Uhh, yeah, that's right, I did that! Come get me!"

It was a terrible strategy, Raz was already well aware of, but it was the only one he could think of quick. His Levitation ball popped into existence beneath him. He strafed on top of it, zig-zagging a short distance from Red Eye, continuing to pepper whatever it had for a face, trying to keep its hostility away from the town. "Ooh, that was a nice one! Bet that must've hurt!" Raz kept that up for as long as he was willing to risk; once the Champion began to move from its spot, he hightailed it backwards, bounding along the desert dunes towards the train, still flinging wild bolts at the thing in his efforts to protect Tostarena.

Another day, another list of countless emails and partnership offers and design concepts to sift through. Running a business such as Gabriel was never an easy task, but the brand's namesake has his mind on more pressing matters. Around the fifteenth amateur wanting to make a name for themselves with a serious lack of talent to do so with, Natalie had finally returned to the mansion. Passing the busywork to her, Gabriel Agreste went to do his much more important job, at least in his eyes.

As his secret elevator glided to a stop in his secret watchtower (you can really get away with a lot for the right price), Gabriel tore his ascot away, revealing what seemed like ordinary jewelry on his shirt, a golden peacock and a small purple gem. But anyone aware of the Miraculous could tell otherwise.

"Nooroo, Duusu... unify!"

The transformation complete, Gabriel - now Shadow Moth - watched as the window before him opened, the long stretch of the city revealed to him. The light coming in disturbed the many pristine white butterflies resting about, sending them fluttering around the room. An errant thought passed in his mind, the way the butterflies moved together inspiring a new ad campaign, but he pushed it aside. No time for it now. He closed his eyes and let the sounds of Paris's downtrodden fill his ears.

Nothing particularly caught his eye, today. A kid had his ice-cream taken by a bully. Ramier was upset about the treatment of his pigeons again. What's this, a frantic mother in search of her lost child? Yes, that would work very well.

"A parent facing their worst possible reality," he spoke, voice nice and deep and ~mysterious~, hand open to let one of his butterflies land upon it. "To what end would they go through to find the children they've misplaced?" He clasped the butterfly between both hands, filling it with a dark, sparking energy. "Fly away, my--"

Before he could send his Akuma away, before he even let it leave his grasp, the bright sky before him grew brighter. And brighter. Brighter still until it almost blinded him in pure light, like the sun finally decided to swallow the Earth! If only...
Location: Universe 1 - Open Fields

When the light finally subsided, Shadow Moth found himself in an almost picturesque field, the grass green and growing in every direction. He immediately buckled his knees, prepared to take on whatever being brought him to such a place, if it was even real, taking his un-released Akuma in one fist while lifting his cane with the other.

"Blast! Is this the doing of another Miraculous user?! An Akumatized villain from the future?" Shadow Moth spoke aloud, since he was so used to being by himself, and it took him a solid second before he realized there were others around him. By their looks they could only be others like him, a hero or a villain from any stretch of the world, but nothing that he's researched before. Though they seemed just as confused to be here as he was. Taking quick stock of who was around, paying particular note to the imposing knight, Shadow Moth straightened himself and set his cane on the ground.

"It would seem we've all been transported here," he said. A quick dip into the various swirling emotions definitively proved that confusion was the constant between everyone present. "Do any of you know why, and to where?"
