From the CS I could probably see it as her making costumes for Gifted that were not using them for good. Or maybe she thought they would do good but didn't. Then being both a Gifted and being associated with crimes that took place would make sense for her being in prison.

But the GM could decide otherwise. Not my RP and I'm not really trying to make a huge deal, just trying to make sense of things.

From my pov I figured Shelly was previously recruited before the current members were. Its why she seems more relaxed about this situation since she's used to it and also passed the initial growing pains of this. Of course, we can also see that Shelly has some personal issues in how she sees herself, but does try to ignore in favor of a more upbeat attitude. Ignoring important issues behind a veneer of silliness isn't an unusual character trait especially these days.

I had made a query about a similar possibility for Heather from the GM. However it was not granted because we were all supposed to start in the same situation. Now there's no way anyone could have known such because I asked via PM. But basically everyone came from the prison and the whole thing is new for them. There isn't supposed to be contact with the outside because they're hated by the public and it's a secret government sanctioned project. And even they aren't really pleased about it.

@ColouredCyan Something is bothering me, and it may just be me in this case. Shelly appears to have not come from the prison like all the rest of us have. She speaks and acts as though she just joined up and was never isolated from society. This is all still mostly a secret so I doubt that emailing a request for a Gifted would be a wise choice.

I can understand having an upbeat attitude but it appears to me that there may be some disconnect as far as setting is concerned. I could be wrong though.

@6slyboy6@Sep This is true. We could just drop doing a collab and post. It would probably be better for the RP as a while to do so. Especially since we have not gotten very far. So go ahead and just make a post containing what your character will do.

Despite Mathias' enthusiastic response Lila still studied for any visible injuries. Perhaps the man was merely fatigued as he made no reply to her question nor showed any signs of actually having been harmed. But there was always the chance that he did not wish to actually tell her to avoid appearing weak. Despite stating that she was indebted to him she was still a creature not often trusted. He did act and sound quite tired at least.

Lila listened intently as the knight began to speak of his family. While she was not completely unlearned about such things it was a foreign concept to her. Being as independent and sparse as her race was there was no real concept of family. Unfortunately the story was interrupted by sounds echoing through the cavern. No they most certainly were not alone. And judging by the sound it was not something they wanted to cross paths with. Raising herself up she looked about carefully.

Glancing at her companion she saw a glint in his eyes that had not been there before. It was oddly empowering "I should be able to guide us well enough. I cannot say I know where we will be going but I can see and can be sure should we go in a circle." She watched as he gathered his pack and shield together and was ready to move. Unsure as to what to say Lila simply started forward through the darkness. The first task was to be sure to avoid wherever thing that had heard moments ago. To their advantage the spider woman lived by avoiding such dangers, most of the time anyhow.

Moving did not directly mean progress though. Everything was uncharted territory which meant that they could be walking endlessly without knowing was was next. On the occasions when they came to a fork Lila would take a few steps down one and feel if there was any air current that she could make out. No current often meant a dead end which was no good for them. Eventually she stopped and stared ahead, gesturing for Mathias to stop as well. She could faintly see the light cast by Fazra's hammer. There was far too little for her human companion to see. "I see light, but I cannot tell its source." She glanced back to see what the man wanted to do.

Ariel let her two guildmates take the lead. They knew where they were going better than she did. hell she could hardly keep her attention off of all the things going on around her. Crocus was a busy place, made even more so by the games. Merchants were all over the place trying to peddle off their wares. One more than one occasion she found herself lagging behind before realizing and running after Trinity and the Karns.

At this moment even clothes shoping would be an adventure. It wasn't exactly something she'd done in some time. Though it wasn't likely that she'd buy anything. She didn't exactly have the extra funds to spend like that. Had to save up.
