Current Location: Outside of Orc Camp 
Current Activity: Working with Gren @Lucius Cypher to forage for supplies and find the North Cave. 

Vola didn’t have to wait long for Gren at the meeting place, happily showing off the hatchet to the bigger orc as he arrived. That was the biggest risk she had ever taken in her life, and she’s still in awe at how smoothly things went down. Vola did take a quick pause as Gren suggested that she be the one to hold onto the axe, she was not expecting that. Thank you Gren, that’s really generous of you! We both worked hard for the axe though, so just let me know whenever you want to use it. It’s a good idea to look around for supplies, maybe if we find a hollow log or something, we can use the axe to make it into a stretcher so that we’ll be able to carry more? If we get some rope, we could also use it to make some basic traps.

Even now, Vola was trying to remember all of the DIY and nature books that she read in her past life. This might be another world, but some of the information should be able to carry over nicely and that way she wouldn’t be too reliant on Gren. She has her pride as an orc Runt after all, she was planning on pulling her weight! Thankfully, Gren gave her a good opportunity to start as he mentioned the North cave. Vola might not have spent a lot of time in nature as Veronica, but she read a book once that explained how to find North and she spent an entire week testing it with her dad’s old compass to see if it worked. It was morning, so as long as the sun still rose in the East, this should work. 

Nodding her head at Gren’s question, Vola pointed her left arm towards the East where the sun rose and held her right arm straight so that it would be pointing to the West. Yeah! I think so! It’s actually really easy to find north. I heard somewhere that the sun rose in the East, so if you you’re your left arm towards where it came up and point your other arm in the opposite direction, you’ll know where East and West is. Now the way that I’m facing is South, which means that North is…

Turning around to where her back was facing, Vola pointed with a flourish.  “That way. I’m at least seventy percent sure of it.” 

Having added the last part with a slightly sheepish smile, Vola turned to Gren. Sorry it’s not a hundred percent, but I haven’t had the chance to really test this out here. Not a lie, she hasn’t had a chance to test it out in this new world yet.

Current Skills:Ingestion - After consuming a required amount of biomass from a particular Creature, 1 of that Creature's Skills can be copied at its lowest Rank.
Rune Scribe - Rank I - Isekai Skill. Normally, this Skill requires the User to be capable of at least one other Magic Skill. Use a personal writing system to imbue magical effects. At Rank I, the scribed Rune has only half the effectiveness of the original Spell and fades after 1 day. (For example, one could use this with a piece of parchment to produce a consumable Scroll of Fire Bolt--or place the Rune somewhere in the environment with certain spells to create a sort of booby-trap.)

Equipment and Inventory:Swaddling Pelts - Equip, Clothes - Old animal skins used to keep an Orc baby warm as they sleep. Once the Runt is old enough to start hunting, these are usually just enough to cover the parts that need the most covering.
Wooden Stick - Equip, Weapon/Tool, Material Component - A wooden stick. From a tree. That's...that's all there is to it. Can be thrown.
Sharp Rock - Equip, Weapon/Tool, Material Component - A rock with a slightly sharp edge. Useful as a primitive knife or chisel. Can be thrown.
Stone Hatchet - Equip, Weapon/Tool - A thick tree bough has been carved into a tapered shape and had a hole bored through it, then fire-hardened. A knapped and sharpened stone blade has been driven through the hole in such a way that impacts will push it further into the handle. Further security is provided by some cordage and sticky tree sap. At your current size, it is considered a two-handed, heavy weapon.
