Bio

I am a rather middling RPer who likes to believe they are actually at an advanced level. This is of course, nonsense created by my desire to be known as good at something. In otherwords, I'm kinda okay at things and stuff.

Lets talk about Minami for a moment. I get her story, and it all is well put. But, and it may just be my opinion, I find it a bit difficult to understand such young characters. She ran away from an abusive home, understandable. I'm curious though, has she simply wandered into the convention? Was this her first day away, or has she been living in such a way for a while, in that case, I'm surprised nothing horribly advantageous has happened to her. And, I'm not sure how much an eleven year old would understand about such a life. It almost saddens me to think that she could die of starvation. I might not have spoken in a complete way, but something along the lines of, did she wander in this convention simply because she was hungry, like Kassy had?
Alright, her power is smell so her sense of smell would probably be twice as that of a dog's, so considering a convention needs to cater food to A Lot of people, she would smell it miles away. As I stated, it took her roughly three weeks to get to Tokyo from Osaka, which is what I took from an average of how long it takes for most people to get from Osaka to Tokyo on foot for religious purposes. Most of the path from Osaka to Tokyo is actually woodland with little towns sprinkled about that she took advantage of. yes, she did this all on a whim, but that's because her father told her that Tokyo was a city of dreams. She would get there no matter what. Japan's fairly hospitable to runaways by the way, at least most small towns are. In big cities they generally fend for themselves. The town of Kamihara has a policy for runaways where they're allowed to stay only one night for free with dinner. Plus, she'd pack snacks and crap along the way.
Thats good enough for me, I accept her now! And I hope this talk about being in a, "Lavul" mood is a compliment.
No spoilage please, I just don't think I can RP Kristof's reaction to such things as well as I could If I already know. You feel me? I discourage this kind of metagaming in my D&D sessions all the time.
Alright, so what do you want to know about Minami? Color of her underwear, how she plays hopscotch, why she was ridiculed?

After these edits I'd like to change the list to something like this. I shall look over Rose and get back to you. About Naoto, we have to keep in mind, it makes perfect sense for the man to be strongly built. He is in fact a police man, thus a gun isn't very far fetched either. However I seriously doubt that police training includes the fourth dimensional beasts. And a dinky handgun? What is that really gonna do? Which brings me to something else, I'd like to hear more about the beasts. How long have they been appearing for? Perhaps a little exposition into their origin, save the really juicy stuff for us to learn IC though! I'm sorry, what with your poor writing skills it is rather hard to read most of your walls of text. Pharaoh, do you think you could put more effort into this respect? Communication is number one here, and if I can't understand exactly what you are trying to say then a ton of important details can be lost. In Progress: Minami: 2/3 Yes. 0/3 No. 2/3 Votes so far. (Tek/Ragna say Yes.) I'll change mine to yes after I hear a little more insight as to her character and such. Denied: Rose: 0/3 Yes. 1/3 No. 1/3 Votes so far. (Tek says No, because of the rule violation) Alex: 0/3 Yes. 1/3 No. 1/3 Votes so far. (Tek says No, because of the rule violation) Accepted: Kristof: 3/3 Yes. 0/3 No. 3/3 Votes so far. (Tek/Ragna/Unraveller say Yes.) Kurano: 3/3 Yes. 0/3 No. 3/3 Votes so far. (Tek/Ragna/Unraveller say Yes.) Kassy: 3/3 Yes. 0/3 No. 3/3 Votes so far. (Tek/Ragna/Unraveller say Yes.) Naoto: 3/3 Yes. 0/3 No. 3/3 Votes so far. (Tek/Ragna/Unraveller say Yes.)
I would allow people who know how to fight, but are mostly self-taught and don't have Rocky Balboa's insane amount of prowess. If they could beat up the biggest kid on their street, that's okay. If they beat the world champion boxer, that's not. For Kristof, his bio is near perfection, and he really doesn't violate any rules in most regards but one. That is the fact that because he's a strongman, he will be inherently strong. Whether it's suplexing a train strong, or just lifting a 400 lb. weight strong makes a difference. I count him as accepted so long as his strength has clearly set limits, and you don't change those limits whenever you want them to fit the occasion.
And that is certainly part of it, Kristof has no fighting prowess, no talent in the field to speak of, in fact, it is a likely guess that he hasn't been in a fight his entire life. Does that rule out the idea that he can be very fit? I think not. And do not worry, the whole suplexing a train thing was facetious, which I'm sure you could tell. And, I'm not sure how much an eleven year old would understand about such a life. It almost saddens me to think that she could die of starvation. That is more than a nit pick with some questions I'm interested in the answers to. As for Kurano, I assumed that he simply is interested in the future of such technology, and seeing as he inherited the power of sound he is probably curious, that is a likely reason for anyone to want to go to the convention. Of course that is just speculation.
Let us look at Kassy here, a few questions come to my mind. First of, what kind of people just disown a child whom they took into foster care for something she couldn't control? Despicable. Now, I don't know too much about fourth dimensional powers, but I would consider it a science! Not, "magic" And as an added, how does Kassy protect herself during this coma? Essentially she became unconscious, and was moved to a hospital where she spent an arbitrary number of years there, her emotional growth and maturity would likely be stunted from such an occurrence. What made her interested in this convention? ^ Those were really cherry picked by the way. As for Naoto, I think everything appears in order for him. And I assume that he took part in a procedure in order to gain his power. One thing that needs to be stated, there should certainly be a logical reason for every single character to be where they are, and doing what they are doing. Plain and simple. I think, in terms of Kristof's muscles, it would be unfair to deny. The problem would be that, are we to say that there are no men like Kristof? Even stronger still, I'd say that a relevant back story must explain any extraordinary talents or abilities. The bottom line is logical sense.
Lets see what we can see. This time there will be no mercy!
Gee, we are there must have just been too many unmemorable character applications flying in during that time. Tek, well this one is you buddy.
Wait, who is this Alex? I had no idea you were adding another character to this mess. Maybe I just didn't notice?
Yeah, I don't think everyone wants a shoddy MS paint picture for their character, I haven't even used one. A good description is all you need to spark everyone else's imagination.
