Bio

I am a rather middling RPer who likes to believe they are actually at an advanced level. This is of course, nonsense created by my desire to be known as good at something. In otherwords, I'm kinda okay at things and stuff.

Okay, this all sounds mighty detailed with a ton of work poured into the concept. But what I am most interested in is this, what would be the chances of a golem of stone, a sentient lord of boulders, a groovy man of gravel, a courtier of crag, a mastermind of minerals, an overlord of ore, a persistent purveyor of pebbles, a freaking rock guy. I think you get the picture.
I'm around.
"Och, what a lot of trash."

A rather large gruff looking man in marine uniform spouts as he downs the thick and unappealing substance that they call food around here. Sitting just across the way from a junior officer, both in stature and rank. Scratching at his beard in some sort of quizzical notion he speaks again, this time more directed towards the young one unknowingly sitting with him, "I can tell ya feel the same lad, 'ahmean who actually enjoys this drool? Naw us men need real food, meats and strong drinks. Whadya say?" At this point the man was speaking quite boisterously, but that's simply how he gets very often, in all honesty he was wasting time without having to worry about appearing before a gaggle of marines. Hell, he hardly even knew what his mission was going to be, let alone how he would present it. Sometimes this life can be stressful.

Commander Ferghus had it in his mind that he'd use the bit of time that he had to scout out the general populace of this base without alerting to them of his status, as he was newer than most around these parts. But in actuality it was something more akin to enjoying the company of the less disciplined officers. After all, he wasn't as keen on locking up pirates for petty crimes like most of the big wigs, but it isn't his place to say what needs to be done after all.

His general impression of the place was something along the lines of, "This sure is a 'sty" and that was just the way he liked it, perhaps such lax nature was due to his pirate upbringing or maybe he just didn't like the cut of the higher-ups gib. Whatever the case, Ferghus enjoyed the position he held and believes it to be a proud honor, and isn't too keen on rising through the ranks too quickly if it removes that simple feel of gallantry.

I know Arlian’s can be big and your major selling point I suppose is playing an “over-sized cockroach”, but how necessary is it to make him over seven feet? This is not a demand but rather a question since I feel curious about his size. As for the second point of discussion with your character: in this continuity, Vegeta and Nappa did not travel to Earth so considering (if my memory is correct) that their planet was only visited as a pit stop on the duo’s travel to the planet, would it not be still existent at this point in time?

Well for starters there is absolutely no necessity in having be large. And honestly I hadn't even considered 7 feet to be all THAT large. And yes, my whole thing was imagining this 'gentle giant' of a cockroach, with that said, I can easily modify it to anything you'd prefer.

As for the second part, I had it in my mind (And I'm not sure how accurate it is) that Vegeta and Nappa had stopped on Arlia because they were supposed to scout the planet and such for trade, which they deemed it not fit for. It was either that or they simply went there because they were bored, probably the later. Again, that is a pretty easy thing to change as it isn't so integral to Atlas's story.

Any other outstanding issues with the backstory, or perhaps techniques?
Well that's a relief, don't know if I could handle having to scroll through so much just to get to the next post.
What a crispy nugget of shit that has landed upon the IC. I take it there is no way to remove posts?
With everything as it is now, I don't believe there really is a good division of different positions, I could be wrong. Honestly, I'm not all that sure what role Atlas would fulfill at this point.
Even I don't know how many characters I'm accepting!

Personally, I've never been one for large groups. With that said, if this turns out to be a more mission based kinda deal, with different teams and such, it can certainly work.
And we don't even know who's going to be accepted, THE SUSPENSE!
Alrighty, please let me know what you think! And on a different note, this is the first time I decided to draw a RP character, was tons of fun!

Right, I hope everything is in order and that Atlas will become a permanent fixture of this RP!
