@The Grey Dust

I'm making an article on the Qaylu right now. What would the original homeland, in the far north, be called? And is there any settlement names you have a preference on?
@Vahir

for additional world lore I was thinking that Kilgarrah could be considered the father to all dragons? As originally he could have been a beast of mountain sized porportions and tremor inducing roars but shrunk as a sacrifice to give birth to the first dragons and their coming lineages? I could also provide a brief description for the types of dragons in the world if there isn't anything too set on dragons as there is now. How does that sound?

Sounds good to me.

You guys can pitch in this kind of worldbuilding on the wiki whenever you want.
@Holy Soldier

Looks great to me, and my compliments of a nice thematically formatted sheet. You're in.

@Rune_Alchemist

You too.

Ideally, everyone should have on big "Rival" that they hate.
@Vahir

Do you think I should start on another character for fun?

I don't know... You start juggling too many characters, some of them are going to fall by the wayside.
@Vahir

If thats the case then I suppose a watered down warrior culture that exists on the outskirts of the world nation, with only mere myths and fables of the great dragon that once harbored their people, be alright then? I was also thinking that due to him being a dragon, with how mosntrous the reputation of such beasts are, the censorship district rewrote kilgarrah as a rutheless demonic tyrant as to further tarnish his reputation to prevent his tales from inspiring those that may follow his example in future generations, and sort of spites against all the glory he and his tribe had spent an eternity building upon battles and honor? Just a thought as that side of the story is your department as well.

Sounds good.

@banjoanjo

Take your time, there's no rush.
@Vahir
Would it be feasable for kilgarrah's tribe to be located on an australia-esq continent or new Zealand sized island remotely away from the mainland and survive without his presence for so long mostly unchanged?

Not really. Eyra was very thorough in wiping out holdouts of the other Children. Even if there was another island, it'd have been conquered a century ago. And even if it wasn't, the culture would have morphed into something unrecognizable after all that time. None of the original tribes are still around; many of their traditions continue on, but generally in a warped fashion, or in secret. A thousand years is a long time after all.

@Vahir

Evil tech overlord demigod enough for you? :P

Needs moar crystals.

that can be his tribe all he wants it to be. Her tribe would be entirely different.

But those aren't his powers stated in his CS.

If Vahir is uncomfortable of course, I can definitely make something else. I have no strong opinions one way or another, though I do think her powers/tribe I have in mind would be fairly different from everyone else.

Well, your idea seems different enough (consciously spawning horrors as opposed to mutating by side effect) for it not to get confusing. In this case, I'd say that it's fine if the other people don't mind.

@Vahir

I was wondering about this, myself. What is your opinion/preference?

Well, my main concern is that if he's running around making TVs and AK-47s, the world would know about them and wouldn't still be stuck in pre-industrial stasis. Plus, you need an entire industrial base to make tech stuff; you can't make a computer without a technologically advanced civilization to mine the ore and put it together.

But... If we can morph mortals into freaking dragons, we should also be able to morph them into, say, a cyborg with a gattling gun for an arm and an advanced AI advisor on board. So all the character's tech would have to be physically part of him. He would also have to go full Brotherhood of Steel, hoarding all technology and killing anyone who tries to copy his stuff, to explain why we don't have spaceships and computers by now.
<Snipped quote by Vahir>

What's the deadline? *glances nervously at my CS which is only about a third finished*

Not until wednesday at least. I'm writing the IC but it takes time. Plus, the next few days will be dedicated to communal world building. Everyone should be collaborating to hash out pre-existing relationships while I work on getting the IC up.
@Roosan@FernStone

Too bad I favor the more frowned upon ones like, oh...

Death...

Time...

Space...

Er...

Yeah

Back up was knowlege and arcane, but that is taken (I seriously couldn't have topped that.)

Fire and War might work, but they feel bland.

I do have an idea that I am working with, but I want to see if anyone has a good one.

You could be an ent-like tree. Or a sea monster, we don't have a sea monster yet.
Of course. We'll be accepting players until the IC starts.
