Oh yeah, will get a post up soon now that we're moving again!
Interested, either as a Warlock or a Sorcerer!
Gonna work on mine in the next few days, hopefully. Weekend was spent being sick, sadly >>
So what do we wanna do re: pirates, guys?

You are supposed to be, yes, though I am considering altering the move slightly to add more questions (or adding a different move to compliment it).

You could potentially ask "How could I get you to ___?" and ask something along the lines of "How could I get you to not attack/chase us?" or "How could I get you to go away?"

Alright, gotcha! And yeah, playing around with wording was plan b, heh. Went ahead and rolled for it, got a 10. So for the two questions, let's go with the "How could I get you to not attack us?" whether that's how we can calm them down or just get away, and "What could I learn from you?" as far as their behaviour goes.

Edit: added the roll to my post as well for clarity!

It was almost amusing, watching their mighty dragon warden struggle against the impassable might of... a couple of trees. More than once, a snicker threatened to slip past Fellwing's lips - but she kept them sealed to maintain peace. Garrock seemed painfully aware of his shortcomings, so pointing them out would have been redundant at best, cruel at worst.

Once the trees relented, they were greeted with a marsh. Fellwing wondered whether the soft ground would present another set of issues for their bigger dragon companion, but it soon turned out that terrain was the least of their worries. With a terrible squeal, rodents of some sort - familiar from her vision - begun pouring out of the forest around them. One latched onto Garrock's wing, tearing off flesh in its wake. Fellwing could only hope Skobeloff didn't run into similar trouble while alone.

The black drake stepped back. She knew her strengths, and that fighting was not among them. All she couldoffer was guidance - or shadow magic, and she would rather not risk the latter if the situation wasn't dire. Moon magic then, perhaps, or simply a tactical retreat. Would they make it? The soft ground was a bigger hindrance to them than it was to their lighter pursuers.

"How far is Echo's cave?" she called over to Stargaze, taking in their surroundings.

For Study Someone, are we limited to the options listed? Was wondering if it was possible to gauge whether or not we could outrun the rodents. Will edit the post with a roll if appropriate!

You only take an advancement once you've gained 5 XP, so no new move for you at this moment in time.

Actually, I probably should remind everyone: everytime you roll below 7 (which is called a miss), you actually get 1 XP. I don't think anyone has actually rolled a miss yet, but I thought this was a good time to reiterate it.

Oh, my bad, fixed! And noted on the below 7 roll.
Posted, marked exp, and took another move (Secret Catcher). Hope I did all that right, lemme know if not.

Fellwing looked to her clutchmates, half nervous, half expectant, all ears. Her plan was but a suggestion, and she was no leader. Her expertise lay in acquiring information, not finding the best way to utilize it - especially when all she'd seen were bits and pieces of a much larger puzzle. And yet, even she knew what Skobeloff was suggesting was lunacy. She couldn't fathom his reasons. 'I'll be fine' was not an answer. But then, the clutch's trickster was not known for his tendency to provide answers.

He was, however, known for being both cunning and resourceful. Fellwing's eyes trailed to the gem in his claws. He sounded confident enough that she could almost believe he had a plan, a reason, a something to justify his gamble. And she couldn't exactly judge another for their foolhardy tendency to go at things alone, when she was guilty of such herself.

She sighed. "Take two gems more. Three, even four, if you've the means to carry them. If you encounter other drakes, perhaps they may use this same magic to teleport to us as well." She had to admit, she didn't quite know how this teleportation magic worked, or what were its limitations. She'd have to have Skobe explain it to her in detail at a better time. "Keep your wits about you, and your steps silent. Be vigilant. Come back alive. I'll see to it that the others do the same."

She turned to Stargaze and Shieldwing, giving them a reassuring nod. "I shall follow you, then. I've many a thing to ask Echo, anyhow."

For now, she'd place her trust in the trickster. She could only hope it wasn't a decision she'd come to regret; she'd loathe to lose a friend.
